I brought my car in on 6/26/21 at 8am to get my black HRE wheels removed and to have the tpms sensors put back on my stock wheels. They charged me $100 and told me it would be done in about an hour which was perfect because I had plans on selling my HRE wheels to someone that morning. When they were finished, I saw that the HRE wheels were boxed up and ready for me to load up. Before I loaded them up to my car, I inspected the wheels and found 2 long scratches on the edge of 2 of the wheels. ( Pictures attached ) On one of the wheels, I stated that I was aware of a small curb rash, ( circled in red ) but the other 2 scratches are brand new and was not there before I brought my car in. Of course they denied any wrong doing, and even showed me the machine they separate the tire from the rim. They showed me a guard that supposedly protects the rim to prevent any damages. ( Picture attached ) And it looks as if the guard itself caused the damage. I had a friend of mine that used to work at a tire shop, look at the damaged wheels and the so called guard that was used. He agreed that the 2 scratches could’ve very well been caused by the guard or something stuck in the guard like a small rock or piece of small metal. He also confirmed that the scratches look nothing like a curb rash.When I asked what the shop was going to do to fix the scratches, they stated that they have a guy they go through to fix wheel damages and that he can go to my house and fix them and that I would only be charged at shop price. Pretty much insinuated that the cost of the repairs would come out of my pocket. I asked for a refund for the $100 I paid them, but they stated that decision would be up to the GM. They provided me their GM’s contact info and asked me to send them pictures of the damages so that they can forward them over to their GM and assured me that their GM would contact me Monday morning. I sent an email out to the 2 email addresses that was provided by the shop on Sunday night and I still haven’t gotten a response. Looks as if they are trying to sweep this under the rug. I was not able to sell my wheels because the buyer that was interested in them saw the new scratches and backed out. I get mistakes happen, but not owning up to it and not doing something to resolve the issue just shows the lack of professionalism and integrity this business and it’s employees have. I had a wheel repair guy look at the damages and he quoted me $250. I pretty much paid the shop to damage my wheels and now I have to shell out more money to get them repaired. I should’ve taken my car to Discount Tire. SMH

As a mechanic I usually work on my own car truck motorcycle etc and I don’t really trust any automotive shop also not having a garage and living in the apartment with limitations it’s kind of difficult. Assignment done here. Eric killed it. I’m an alignment connoisseur Land Rovers really Need a precision alignment or it doesn’t ride right. Eric did the best most precise alignment on my rover. So many small time alignment shops will just do good enough or even sabotage so you come back. Not Eric at SD tire and wheel !! Best alignment of my life.

Came in to fix the tire for free, turned out the tire was leaking because of wear out. Decided to buy a pair of new ones. The guys were very nice and knowledgeable, gave me all possible deals and discounts on tires and alignment. Couldn’t do it right away, came back with little time, they met my deadlines and did everything quick and well. Thanks to Mane, Arthur, and all the guys working on my car.

Great place with nice people. Have been here a few times now. They did a great job replacing my front axle and also when I had some trouble with a tire they rebalanced it no charge.

I needed new tires for a last minute road trip. These guys not only got me in but we’re able to get me out of their shop with new tires installed within an hour. Lastly, they had the best prices. Similar shops were quoting me with ridiclious “mandatory” upgrades putting me in a price range several thousand dollars over what SD Tire quoted me. It’s nice to have a shop you can trust. I will be coming back!

Extreme patience and persistence from all concerned, and once inventory came in, I got a call, arrangements made for the same day and boom, got them installed. Subi and Danny are excellent to work with and Im very happy with the results!

I was on my way to lunch when I noticed the sound of a nail pinging on the concrete as I drove along. I was frustrated and dreaded having to find somewhere to get the hole patched up. Hands down, it was one of the best customer service experiences Ive had in years (an especially rewarding experience being that its still 2020). The cost for the fix was cheaper than lunch, $10. Best of all, they got me in and out in about 12 minutes. Sincere thanks to the guys there, and especially the dude behind the desk. Definitely recommend!!

Dan and Eric are extremely friendly and helpful! My car is modified and as a result was difficult to get the car to track properly. Dan and Eric were able to align it and ensure the car drove true. These guys will go above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy and will do so in a timely manner. Couldnt be more stoked.

Very disappointed with the service. First of all I went in and discussed a specific tire size I wanted all 4 they told me about an hour. 2 hours later no progress has been made on my car and they had to go get the tires didnt bother to explain that to me, and then they proceeded to tell me they went ahead and put a different size tire than what we had discussed which was a smaller tire. Then when I asked about the price difference he told me they were the same price. Which I later discovered they were cheaper than I was told which was verified off the website then they over inflated my tires by 16 psi. Dont go to them they dont care for you or ur vehicle just out to get a quick buck..scammers

When it rain it pours, While I was at work, I received some very disturbing news from my family, I wasnt havent a good day at ALL!! Mind racing, feeling everything all at Once. Looking for great work, clean environment, friendly customers service? This place has all three. Just install coilovers and camber kit on my 2016 Q50 to lower it, I needed an alignment bad. These guys were able to get me in same day and had me in and out in under an hour and half. The knowledge techs talk to you and will set your fitment to whatever you desire. I bought tires from these guys about a year ago. That transaction went smooth, great pricing and quick service. Today I woke up with a large bolt in my tire. I called them and they said theyll do the repair for free but that they were super busy. I said Id just drop it off and come back later. I pulled up and one of the techs came out, noticed the bolt and said hed fix it right there. Less than 5 minutes later they were filling it up with air and testing for any additional leaks. I was in and out. Amazing. Ill definitely come back.

Great service and fair prices ! Got me in last minute as a walk in, fixed my tire in 15 minutes and for half the price of what discount tire quoted me.

Taking two stars back for two reasons. 1. I had an appointment for a specific service at a specific time, made days in advance. I ended up waiting 40 minutes past the appointment time before the car was touched. 2. They added a luxury vehicle fee or some such to my invoice. Thats a bogus ripoff, my car is not any more costly to work on than any other. Had I known about this bogus ripoff charge I would not have used them for the service.

Great Service and good prices. Had an issue with their account department after they did charge me for 4 months and then double charged me. They said they would fix it, but I ended up having to have my bank charge back the duplicate charge after they didnt do it for over a week. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Pay cash and you shouldnt have any problem at all.

Ive been going to clearance brown for a while now and they have never been able to align my car. Then after one visit here at San Diego tire and wheel, they aligned it perfectly and with no problems at all. From now on I will be going here for all my tire and alignment needs!

Ive been calling this location off and on for several hours. It seems that they either are manually dropping the calls or after dozens of rings it automatically drops the calls. I tried calling another one of their stores and a voice mail picks up after a lot of rings, but they did answer at that location on my second attempt calling them for a quote.

Woke up the morning with a flat tire. This place is pretty close to my work so I decided to give them a call and get the price for 2 new tires. I talked with Cesar and Danny, both very friendly and welcoming. They were just a couple dollars more expensive than discount tire next door, but I would much rather spend my money at a locally owned place than a big chain.

I bought a rim and tire set from them about 6 months ago and got a flat from a screw in the newer set of tires I purchased. I have a newer all wheel drive car and took the flat to another tire store. They said the flat was unfixable and they were trying to sell me a new matching set of tires and they said the all wheel drive needed matching tires. A total waste of money and they were trying to hustle me! I called SD tire outlet and told them what was up. Danny said bring the car in and lets see whats up. He was able to fix it and charged me nothing for removing the fix a flat from the tire that was causing road vibration from the test drive after. I will go here for all my tire needs. The staff is all cool and Danny makes sure to take care of customers. Thanks guys for making my day work that day!!

Had issues with the wheels and the sensors that were installed.The guys have reached out to me and have been very apologetic and wanted to make it right. They have come down to my house and picked up the truck, dropped me off at work and later came down and returned the truck to my work.They have fixed everything and put in new sensors and triple checked for leaks.I really appreciate their service and the effort they put into making this right and have been reaching out to me since today morning and updating me on the progress.Thank you guys and you really do care about customer satisfaction.Unfortunate stuff happens all the time, but its how you deal with that speaks for you.

The best price in town 😎Update 02/02/18I stand by my review. It was time for my tires to be changed, balanced and aligned. I hate shopping so I decided to come back here. Spoke with Eddie and not only did he make finding great tires for my car a snap, he also looked for a good compromise between quality, price and warranty and yes a little bonus for my wallet :). I rolled out of there with great looking tires and a much better handling car.

Not reliable, Not responsive, Nothing on time. My 2 BMW wheels were inspected and told me that there is a crack on one of them and two on the other. I had to go back home to take the wheels off my car and gave them for repair on 8/29 and they said it could be done by 8/31. I checked on 8/31 and they said its not completed and they could only give on 9/4 due to labor day. I had to rent a car for 4 days, called back on 9/4, still not done so I had to extend my rental for one more day. I call them today 9/5 and now they say only one wheel can be repaired the other has 4 cracks which was not found during inspection and that cant be repaired. They took 3.5 days to just find there are additional cracks? I don’t know if that is really true or even if it is they took too long and let me know only if I call them, they don’t update me on anything. They could have at-least told me that they couldn’t repair both on the day they received it. Even now I was not told by when I can get the wheels. I spent more money on my car rental than I spent on the repair itself.Totally disappointed and totally frustrated with the situation. Never ever consider this company if you need some reliable service.__________________Update: Okay so the next day I got a call to pick up the wheels (one repaired and one as is), when I droped them off Eddie promised the wheels will be delivered to me so i made the payment upfront, but when ai asked bout it, he said the driver is not around so If I need them same day I will have to pick. And When I went there, their behavior was very evident that they knew about my review, evrything sarcastic, BMW center caps were missing ans when I asked they gave just one and said only one wheel had center cap when you brought them. Thats totaly not true I never took my wheels off my car since I bought, why will I not have a center cap. I said I need both caps, they he asked his team toget one more and give it for free, seriously? If I ask my property back, Is that a charity?I totally hated that 15 mins I was there yesterday, very very unprofessional, no care for customer satisfaction and on top of than the attitude towards me was unacceptable by any customer. I am not even interested to resolve this with that company.
