In the last twenty years Oceanside and San Diego have been my favorite places to vacation. Seaport Village Shell Company has been my most favorite shop to visit. With the hard times of Covid my most recent trip was somewhat disappointing as the Shell Company was closed. If you are into shells and any sort of sealife you wont want to miss this store.My walls and shelves are covered with beautiful items from this store. My favorites are the shadow boxes. I own 10.Make sure you go when you visit Seaport Village.I am looking forward to September and visiting and adding to my collection.

Cute store with a wide selection of shells. Larger individual shells are quite pricey, but you can buy baskets of pre packaged shells for a decent price.

Such a unique spot. The shells they have in shop are beautiful. I bought some barnacles and sea starts for decoration for some lanterns I bought.

Beautiful quaint store. Majestic items from every part of the ocean. The lovely owner gave my daughter a little trinket as a thank you. I absolutely love it!

Been waiting to shop your store as there are signs that say “We are open” open at 1:30. Waited around til 1:30, Come to find out you’re temporarily closed til spring. Waste of 2 hours. Probably should take the signs down on your store that say you’re open!

The collection is good and rare but dint have a good experience shopping here. I paid for up a mother of pearl pair of ear rings along with star fish magnets. When I reached my hotel which is in Carlsbad the ear rings werent there. I called to inform them about what happened and the girls at the counter said that they put the ear rings in the box and asked me to come over buy another pair if Id like. Off course I dint go back and purchase it wasnt feasible.So check the things you purchase before you leave the store.

I have shopped at this shop both times I visited San Diego. The staff is always helpful and selection of shells and corals is amazing. I had a number of items shipped to my home and the merchandise was well wrapped and arrived intact.

When I was here back in 2016 it was a great place to stop and watch the pelicans
