I had tires mounted and balanced, they made sure they used same colored weights and tucked them in the back for a clean look.Their team also ensured to help with loading and unloading. Excellent work! These guys put care and attention into every car they have! I got 35” tires put on my car after I did my lift on my own. They showed me my tires were rubbing a part of my fender on the front and took it off for me to fix the problem. They updated me every step of the process and gave my new tires a nice shine before I left. Their customer service is exceptionally, but they honestly earned my business forever now by the quality of their work and communication.

Another good experience here. They said it was going to be an hour wait, but they got me in and out in 30min. Besides long wait times either means they provide awesome service or detailed work. Last time i do business with these guys. Arturo promised to call me back twice and never called me back. First time was to give me a price and second time to give me an eta. My wheels promised time was not met and it could be do to covid. Lastly, i picked up my wheels and got some valve stems for my wheels but since the caps where bbs brand, dorian took them so he can complete his bbs wheel set up he was building and gave me some plastic ones. This is sad that for a 2500$ set of wheels they go cheap on you.

Professional, friendly and the best customer and mechanic service in San Diego. Went there to get brakes, pads, rotors, shocks, struts and alignment. Dorian took the time to address and meet my needs. Second time getting my tires replaced here. Competitive prices, friendly professional staff, and fast service. I was in and out in just over an hour. Plenty of drink/food places within walking distance.If you are ordering tires that they must have delivered (ones they dont stock on-site) youll need to pay a deposit. Fair enough considering the small size of this location.Ill be back when these wear out.

Very streamlined process and the price for the tires were lower than other places I could find. The Michelin Pilot 4s tires are definitely different feeling after wearing out stock Dunlops. Cornering is less jumpy and feels like less understeer but only put about 25 miles so far and still getting used to them.

SD Tire & Wheel Outlet for one blew Discount Tires out of the water I liked the service the workers were on pointand most importantly I didnt feel anxious or taken advantage of. I rolled in as 9:50 rolled out at 10:30 in time for my class. Im definitely a satisfied customer for life!

These guys are great very helpful professional and the prices are the best the only downside is you have to get on a first come first serve basis so you could be waiting for your tires to be changed for quite a while.

Bad customer service you call and they give you one price then if its another person they give you another price plus they said they were close at 4pm and they couldnt help me when it says they close at 6 on their page

I brought my car this morning after damaging my tire, and the service I received was exceptional! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was provided options with no pressure or annoying upselling. I was in and out, and enjoyed a keurig coffee and smart tv while I waited. Highly recommend.

I have bought rims and tires from them multiple times. Fast and quality service. This last time I stopped by i had a metal shard in my tire, they were able to patch it and get me back on the road. Highly recommended.

This is an update to my original review. The president of the company personally called to address my complaint. After a great talk and providing a reason, not making any excuses, a sincere apology and offering to pay for the difference I incurred having the work done elsewhere; I believe it was a genuine attempt to make thing right. I ended up accepting a credit for an alignment. More staff have been hired and corrective action has taken place. I would give them 5 stars just for the presidential treatment. As it stands with no work actually done, I think a neutral 3 is in order. Will update when I next try again. No doubt theyll earn a 5 star.

So when Im given the runaround and forced to be inconvenienced because of someone elses attitude, I take it personally. I can say now with confidence after speaking with Omar that SD Tire and Wheel Outlet deserves another chance to earn my business again. The leadership there does really care about the customers and the service they provide is well done and reasonably priced.Original Review:Guy answering the phone doesnt want to do his job. Told me I need to drop off a deposit and provide my personal information at the store to order tires. Called the Miramar location and they had my tires ordered in less than 5 minutes on the phone without any BS deposit. Apparently the convoy location doesnt want my money.

I went to San Diego tire and wheel after calling a few other places. The tire I needed was hard to find no one had it in stock I went to San Diego tire and wheel not only did they have the tire in stock but the price was unbelievable period and the service was excellent I would recommend them to all my friends and anyone who needs tires

I received awful customer service. I was quoted three different prices for a tire that they told me that they had in stock first, but come to find out that they didnt have it in stock. They didnt check which tire I needed specifically and was going to put a different brand tire than the original that I wanted.They had me on hold for about 20 min and I had to keep calling them on a separate line and I made the man not put me on hold again. The man was also over talking me and wouldnt own up to the mistake that they made. He never apologized and kept making excuses. I will not be giving them my business.

I have known Danny for years. Have bought 4 sets of tires so far with another set this week. They have always taken care of me as far as price and courtesy. Im a old car guy and I could tell you stories about shops Ive delt with.......Now beware, this shop is extremely busy almost all the time. So it might take a bit to get help. But compared to other shops this one is a better deal. At least from my experience.

Everyone seems to love Eddie and I see why. On the website it says to make an appointment but I called and was told they take walk-ins before 5pm. Eddie greeted me upon entering the business, I told him I needed a full set. We went outside and he viewed my tires and gave me additional advice. They were finished in less than 30 minutes. I even got a deal on a 4 wheel alignment. His colleagues respect him. He takes pride in the job and is knowledgeable. The atmosphere has a team building spirit. Very professional and clean and comfortable lobby. I did my homework before hand and they beat my price. The aftercare package is also nice. He even set a reminder for my rotation. Thanks guys!!!

Good selection, good customer service. Their website helps narrow your choices but it would help if the wheel/rim choices on the site gave some indication of price. I recommend using their website and choosing a few choices you like, then bring those into their store so they can help you from there. There are just too many choices to just walk-in with no idea what you want. But Im very happy with the help they gave me. By the way, my representative there was Arnold and he was extremely patient and focused on helping me.

I bought my set of tires here, and the guys are great. I already knew what I wanted, so all they had to do was order them and install them. They take great care with my wheels. This is my second balance and rotation on my tires.

Ordered some rims for my Volkswagen Golf, took 2 days to ship which is pretty quick compared to online shipping. They gave me a call when the wheels made it to the store, came over and they installed them for me which took about an hour, pretty fast compared to most places and keep in mind there always fairly busy so overall a great shop!!

Customer service alone would get 10 stars.Had tires put on 7/2, on 7/3 my tire was flat. The staff went above and beyond to help me get my tire replaced. And I cant thank them enough. Keep up the good work .

I had new wheels and tires put on the other week. At first they forgot to put my hub rings on. I went back in and let them know and told me it would only take 5 minutes. I waited another 30 - 45 minutes later. When I got my car back again I forgot to check if everything was in the car.When I got home I noticed I had a flat tire and they kept my wheel lug keys with them so I couldn’t change out my flat.Next day when I called one of the employees pretended to be the manager and seemed like he didn’t want to help and told me I was on my own pretty much. Luckily I emailed SD tire & wheel so Omar, a manager from another location called me and helped me out. I had to make two other trips to the location to fix my issue, which was they didn’t check for tightness on the air valve stems.Only reason I’m not giving a 1 star review is because Omar showed way better customer service as opposed everyone else at that location. Seems to me they rush their work with little attention to detail and attention to the customer. I will not be going back for work again.

FIVE STARS! HANDS DOWN! Came here on a busy Saturday morning. Got my 4 brand spanking new tires in half hour! The staff was nice and helpful. The price was very reasonable. When I checked out, I was told that theres lifetime tire rotation service. Say whaaaaat?! Im not going anywhere else anymore!

(UPDATED) 4 Stars for now. My initial interaction wasnt great as the guy I meet with the first time never called back or emailed me.However, I am happy I gave it another shot. I went back today and met with Eugene and Chris even at times the Manager Omar stepped in to assist. My car was not easy looking for the perfect rims that fit. We actually spent a few hours looking and going over different ideas. I didnt feel pressured and actually felt bad it took so long. I didnt purchase any items today, but we will be next week to finalize everything. Ill update my review then.UPDATE: We purchased our Tires and Rims, had them installed and everything looks great. Will definitely be going back, we Love how everything turned out.

Came here based on reviews to mount and balance tire. Had specific instructions on rotating tires. They did everything right as I wanted. Mounted tire is perfectly balanced and rides smooth. My FJ Cruiser suspension is quite sensitive and reacts to small imbalances, so I am happy with what they did. They were good on timing as well.

Fair price and completed on time. I will be back.

After calling around several places, Chris delivered multiple distinct advantages over the others in the area. I had a flat on Friday afternoon and needed new tires all around, after market upgrades, so difficult and nobody had them on stock. Long story longer, Chris got me a nicer grade set of tires, for a better price, the next day (Saturday) instead of waiting for no name vs Hankook instead of Monday or Tuesday of the following week. The installation was fast and flawless.Since then, my trucks handling at speed and mpg has improved nicely.Took them 30 minutes or so today on a Saturday, no less, to rotate and balance them.

Just purchased some Michelin sport tires from here for my 2018 type R and also got them installed at a very great price. Real friendly people here and would definitely recommend, a special thanks to Arnold for the help!

Friendly, good prices, good service. I drop in without an appointment when I get my tires rotated and it never takes more than 20 minutes or so. The waiting area inside has a comfy old couch, bottled water and a Keurig machine.

Great place to go to get wheels and tires

They quoted me a price for 2 tires installed out the door. When I arrived for my appointment the price was higher. I told the guy I clearly asked for the out the door price. Then he said their hydrolic jack broke so they can’t mount the tires on my motorhome. I had to go next door to Midas to get them mounted and still cost me more money and time

Great place for customs wheels and tires. If they dont have it they will order for you. So far I have bought set of custom wheels, 2 sets of 4 tires, and refer my brother in-law for his tires as well. I will not go to a different tire shop. In my opinion best place in San Diego. George has always been very helpful and before you buy tires check this place out.

Went into the store not expecting to buy any tires, but left with BFGoodrich KO2s in exactly the size I was looking for! Danny helped me out, and he was very knowledgable. Really wish I could leave these folks 10 stars! This is THE place to go for your wheel & tire needs! I had a flat today and had to have it taken care of. San Diego Tire & Wheel Outlet was less than 2 miles away & their ratings were the best compared to the 3 other services nearby, so I called and spoke with a fellow by the name of Eugene & he gave me a quote & assured me he could have me taken care of in under a hour. Took the car straight there & in about 45 minutes drove away with 4 new tires installed & balanced and at a price that couldnt be beat. I will use these folks from now on!!! They are awesome!!!

This place definitely has the cheapest tires. Staff is very friendly. The only thing Id point out that upsets me every time I go to this place is the guys who change the tires are sloppy. They do the work but just up to whats acceptable and to me I dont settle for that. They were to lazy to take my wheel lock and put it back in the packaging. Instead they throw it inside the cup holder and Ive already lost one of the key locks because they didnt put it back in the packaging. They sometimes have tech that arent really in mood to talk to you if you have specific questions. These small details may not seem like a big deal but I believe every business whether its cheap or expensive, should go above in beyond to make the customer very satisfied with the entire process. Hope to come back to this place again and see these strong focus points fixed and I will rewrite my review if its better or worst. Good shop with lack of attention to detail.

I have been taking my cars since their shop in El Cajon. Most of my cars are modified and have aftermarket wheels. These guys know what theyre doing! Nothing is rushed and everything is precise. Havent had any problems with everything that Ive bought from them or everything theyve mounted for me. If your car is modified, luxury, or just have the normal, take it to SD Tire and Wheel. Last 4 months Ive bought tires for 2 different cars here .They use yo be my go to place but after a sidewall blow out on one back tire only 1k miles into driving and had to but a new tire because they said it wasnt a thing covered by warranty and now my front left has wire poking through after 2k driven on a 30k warranty but they told me they could give me a deal of $60 per tire for 2 new fronts after I just paid $55. For a mismatched blown out back tire .In total Ive spent over $600 here in 4 months for nothing but low quality and hustle to pay cash for a discount that really isnt a discount. Going to a different tire place tomorrow to pick up 2 new tires for $60 instead of 2 new for $120
