I would give it to zero stars but it doesnt leave the option for that I waited over 3 months for my drone to get back from something I could have done online it just needed to be put back together at all the parts all the screws everything with it and they said oh yeah bring it in and so the next thing I know they ship it off to DJ I and what theyre doing a TGI is just replacing your drone they tell you need so many bug parts in China to get them to resurface it and taking a brand new drone off-the-shelf a refurbished one off the shelf at the GI and shipping it back to the people and the same thing to do in to everybody so I dont know what the heck theyre charging $40 for me to do something for them to do something I could have done.

Drones Made Easy has earned my respect over the last few weeks 100%. James sold me the exact DJI setup I was looking for but unfortunately on the 2nd use at a Job the product failed. I called DME and we discussed repair/warranty and and as a consumer I WAS PREPARED for the worst and ready to pay repairs. James assured me that together we would find a solution but they must see the DJI product first which is fair enough.10 mins later James called me back and provided a solution I was not expecting...He offered me a loaner unit until my issue was resolved. I drove back to San Diego from the Mojave Desert because James saved me a Job and weeks of headache. The concern was resolved and although I cannot promise anyone the same resolution will be offered, I hope my review is taken as an example of how the team at Drones Made Easy operates.

Best drone repair shop?? I don’t think so. Dropped the drone 2 weeks ago and after a quote for repair of more than the value of the drone, I decided to do not moving forward with the repair and now I’m still waiting for the drone to get back to the shop. Oh yeah. They sent it to Los Angeles but of course they didn’t mention it at the moment of the drop off. Long story short I threw away 45$ for “diagnostic” that’s how they call it. Waste at least 3 weeks of my time and I will get back a broken drone when these guys we will be ready for it. If this is the best Drone repair shop out here in SD we are in God’s hands. Good luck with them!

Came in on Sat July 3rd. Store was closed for the pre 4th Holiday. Was very disappointed because i needed my drone for a kids partt that afternoon. Called the number on the door and received a call back about 15 mins later. Spoke to James and he said he would make a 30 mkn trip down to help me! He was a life saver! I dont like leaving reviews but I dont tolerate people taking advantage of their position !I wanted to buy a mavic mini and I thought the easiest and fastest way to get it was through drones made easy.However, after purchasing I soon realized I was WRONG. I called before buying it to see if it was available for pickup same day. First call, they answered, they said that they had it in stock and that it was available for same day pickup.They told me i had to place the order on their website So I purchased it online hoping I could pick it up within hours.Fast forward to 3 hours later I called the place like 5 times and 0 answers. I emailed them and no answers. Of course my PAYMENT was already taken out of my account. Finally after reaching out so many times they answered. To my surprise this is what the answeredHello Jimmy,We are still in the midst of processing orders as they are placed, but I went ahead and looked at your order as you were inquiring about pickup times.Unfortunately your order did not pass our fraud verification and therefore I had to cancel your order. If you are still wanting to get a Mavic Mini, we can arrange a time and day for you to come to our storefront and pay for it contactless.What this means is, we will not collect payment for the online order, but have you come to our store to pay for the drone out front. We need you to bring your card, a Photo ID matching your billing address, and a facemask covering your face and mouth. These are the guys to go to for all your DJI products. Been going there for 2 years. I have a P4P and Inspire 2. I took the Inspire 2 in this morning because the legs were loose on one side. They fixed it and explained why it was important for them to be lined up just right. They would not take any money for the adjustment. They are great!

I bought a drone from this company for almost $2000.00 and it has been almost 2 weeks with no word . Every time I have called it has been a different story and if I don’t call, the “promise” to give me details is never fulfilled. The CEO emailed after my second call(4 days after order was placed and FULLY paid for) to apologize and assured me that the order was being shipped FOLLOWING DAY. 8 days later and still no word. One sales associate could not even locate my order in their system and required me to forward my order confirmation email, with the aim of showing it to the CEO(who he couldn’t confirm was going to be at work) before anything could be done about the situation.This completely UNACCEPTABLE and I would want an immediate refund should the order not be possible by close of day today 9/12/2019.O

I bought a Phantom 3 Professional from Drones Made Easy and I needed it overnight shipped. I placed the order on their website and called to verify they could ship it overnight. They said that they could, but FedEx had already picked up their shipments for the day. In a bind, I asked if there was anything they could do to help. They promptly processed my order, packed it up, and one of the guys personally brought it to a FedEx facility for overnight delivery. Talk about customer service! Theyre an awesome group of guys that are very friendly and knowledgeable. Ill definitely buy from them again!

The folks at Drones Made Easy are terrific. They have spent a lot of time with me over the past year and a half helping me keep my drone running. Never have they treated me like an idiot when I probably should have been. The first time I was there the controls on my drone were reversed. These guys reset the controls then spent about an hour with me explaining how to fly my drone. And no, I didnt buy it from them. If I had known about them when I was buying I would have done so. Dont look anywhere else, these guys are honest and knowledgeable. They will spend the time you need to make sure you have a great experience. These guys are amazing! I took my phantom 2 in for a repair after dipping it in salt water. They had it repaired and back in my hands in 4 days. Amazing amount of knowledge with these guys. They were very friendly and accommodating. The store was easy to find, easy to get to and plenty of parking. Theres also a flight test room thats pretty rad.Wish I would have originally bought my drone here instead of Amazon, customer service makes all the difference.

I attended one of their Saturday demos, and bought a Phantom 3 on the spot. I live near them (kind of), so its nice being able to see a system in the show room, as well. Ive also been impressed with Maps Made Easy and their Map Pilot app for the iPhone (although I wish it would run on Android, as well). Very knowledgeable people and good support so far.

These guys saved me and my Mavic Pro after it had an unfortunate run-in with a palm tree that, uh, separated it from its camera. I was worried Id have to buy/rent a new drone for my next shoot, but the guys turned around the repair so fast that I didnt need to.Im extremely grateful for their high quality work and quick turnaround. Im been meaning to write this review for some time now. My experience with Drones Made Easy has been phenomenal. I first called months ago inquiring about the Inspire 1 for my photography business. I had the pleasure to work with Ryan Young. Ryan went above and beyond to answer my questions and concerns. I took my time learning the product and asking lots of questions and making numerous phones calls to him. Again, Ryan would always answer my questions and if he didnt know he would get the answer. Crashed my new phantom 3 professional and was heart was broken. Took it into Drones Made Easy and they repaired it within an hour and at a low cost. I thought for sure I was going to have to break the bank but these guy were able to repair with spare parts. Took it for a test flight later that day and everything is back to normal.

Helpful techs took a look at a Phantom 4 Pro that had taken a low altitude crash and kindly suggested a few options without charging anything. They said if anything happens to the gimbal it camera, its almost totaled however because the cost of replacement with labor is only a couple hundred less than a new unit.

Purchased a Phantom 3 online for an in-store pick up. Drone was waiting for me when I got there. Good group of guys in this outfit. Very friendly and quick to respond to emails when I have questions. Very misleading information. I walked in to get an evaluation on my Mavic Pro. I felt very uncomfortable on being upsold for stuff I did not need. Glad I got a second opinion because my drone works perfectly fine. I asked for a manager to be told that information is un available. Service is just not their unless you are ready to spend bookoo $. I will not ever go back again for Dji products here.Response to my post^^^: I never asked for a jump start on my battery. I took my own dead batteries apart to see the insides. I am a repair tec for RC & Rc nitro tec and Fpv Drone racing equipment tec programing and have been for years. When it comes to Dji I cant even read the voltage output without opening up a battery & Destroying the shell. Maybe you should invent a voltage meter for 2020. 2nd Yes, I did ask for help on my $150 mavic pro and was rushed and put to the side behind some other customer who had gotten something used as well off the street for $300 which was a mavic pro 2 not much more than I paid. So yes I felt very not taken care of. I got the drone from some highschool kid who knew nothing. Please do not exploit false information over a computer we both know what happened and lying doesnt fix the services I received! Im glad I got a second opinion over at DISCOUNT HOBBIES the tec their knows how to work on your equipment highly recommended.

I bought a used mavic air, gps wouldn’t work at all, sent it down and got a call a few days later, they said it booted up fine and hooked up to satellites. They said a replacement gps module would be $100 but I didn’t need it, so I got the drone back, and i still couldn’t get it to connect to satellites. Finally I take it apart myself and see a clearly damaged gps module, bought a replacement on amazon for $40, plugged it in and now it works. Just wish they were at least honest before charging me...

This review is long over do. I had such an awesome experience with Will and Drones Made Easy. First let me start by saying I knew nothing of Drones before a couple of months ago. I was extremely nervous on purchasing one because I had crashed a few helicopters and remote control planes in my time. When I talked to Will about if I would be capable of flying one, he invited me down to the shop to give me a 15 min lesson on the drone I wanted to purchase. Honestly, 15 min was all I needed. Bought a DJI Phantom 2. No documentation except a quick start. No videos on YouTube under their channel to tell you how to actually fly the thing and how to get it ready for flight. Had to search on Youtube on my own to find the information myself. Yeah, its great that they get the drone to you fast, but then it just kind of sits there until you find the information yourself on how to fly it and set it up. To me, that isnt how you make things easy.

This review is going to sound like I got paid to write it but I can assure you I did not... but if you want to send me money I wont complain haha. Honestly Drones Made Easy just saved the day and helped me get back up and flying faster than I had thought.So basically I crashed my Inspire 1 on a shoot in Hawaii and desperately needed parts for a repair for an upcoming shoot. The parts were backordered or not offered on pretty much every other site or if they were in stock the prices were jacked up which isnt cool. Some of the bigger A/V companies even had the pictures and part numbers mixed up which didnt give me much confidence in ordering from them, not knowing if I would even get sent the right parts if they ever got them in stock.Anyway this review isnt about how not so great everyone else was, this is about how Drones Made Easy went the extra mile for my order. I found their site through a google search for the parts I was looking for and they had all the parts I needed listed as in stock and werent doing any price gouging. Placed my order and within 10 min I got a call from them. In my mind this wasnt good and I was sure they were going to tell me they actually didnt have the part I needed in stock. Luckily I was dead wrong and they just wanted to confirm my order and let me know they just got those parts in stock and wanted to ship them out that same day! Super cool because it was pretty close to end of day and I had figured it would ship sometime the next day. Instead they made sure my order got out that night and it arrived super fast too. Got all the parts installed and Im up and flying again ready for the next shoot.The shipping packaging wasnt over done. Their site was easy to find everything I needed and had all the correct photos and part numbers. It was easy to order and check out. The call to confirm was just an added bonus and whoever I talked to made me feel like fulfilling my order was high on their priority list. Awesome job guys! You guys are awesome. I was out in San Diego for a professional shoot with my dji equipment. My battery charger died and djis response was mail it in. Luckily, drones made easy was nearby and stocked the charger. 25 minutes later not only was I back in business but they showed me the right way to lock the extension pole. Apparently not only did dji leave the instructions out of the manual but multiple calls to dji tech support gave me wrong answers. These guys had all the right answers. Definitely look to them for all your drone needs inducing repair!

I bought the Phantom 3 thru DJI and had trouble updating the firmware. A few calls to the DJI tech support line and it still didnt update. I ran into Drones Made Easy at Comic-con and they said to bring it by. Well I did and even though I didnt purchase from them they worked on it for about 45 minutes and were able to update the drone and controller. They said no charge! I wished I would have purchased thru Drones Made Easy.I did end up buying a third battery while I was there. I have several friends in the drone hobby and have told them about my experience. You have made several new customers. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. This is the only place to go for drone purchases, supplies and support. Just a note; I have never met any of these guys before seeing them at Comic-con.
