I had a great experience, the gentlemen here were very nice and personable. They knew what they were talking about and got the job done quickly and were honest about their hours and didn’t over charge me. I know because I was charged less than quoted for actual time. The were nice enough to work with me for buying my own parts. And they did a fabulous job on all the repairs. I’m Very happy with the service I received, I highly recommend them and I will return to them for any future mechanical needs.

Will and the team here are literally god-sends! They do good work, know their stuff and really are fair on their pricing! I have almost 230k miles on my Prius and knowing Will is around gives me tons of peace of mind!

My hybrid battery in my Prius died unfortunately for me, and the dealers wanted $2500 for it! Thats when I found Will who was able to take care of the job for a mere fraction of that price. He was able to recondition my battery quickly, talk me through all the details of the job, and fix my car! His repair comes with a 12,000 mile/1 year warranty, and it is the best deal in town. Highly recommend going to Will rather than getting taken for a ride by the dealership.

Absolutely amazing! I can not recommend this place or thank Will enough! Honest, knowledgable, fair and friendly mechanics! I just had a 12 volt battery replaced in my 2004 Prius and Will had a battery ordered and installed in probably about 35 min for am ore than reasonable price compared to what I had been quoted for both the 12 volt and the hybrid battery. Save yourself some time and money go to SD Hybrid!

I had trouble with the cooling fan on my 2005 Ford Escape Hybrid. The dealer wanted nearly $1,000 for the replacement including labor. Will found me a used part and replaced it same day. Saved me about $700! Great service..above and beyond. I can recommend Will without reservation.

My 2015 Prius has 202000 miles. I had a error code. They knew exactly what the problem was and took care of it very efficiently. I have another Prius with 450000 miles it needs a new Hybrid battery Im going to bring it to these guys because I know theyll do a good job and their price is fair.

My wonderful 2008 Prius died. Couldnt lock the doors, wouldnt start, couldnt open trunk, showed I had little gas in tank (that morning I checked level and had almost a half tank). I called quite a few places, all said I should be towed and it could be $1000 +, but they werent sure. I spoke to Will at Hybrid Battery. He said car most likely wouldnt need a tow, and could be driven to his shop. Since I couldnt drive it, he drove over to USD where my car was parked; he started it up after telling me that it was the auxiliary battery. I followed him to his shop. He had already ordered the battery and thought it would be there in an hour or less and could be installed right away. He was going to Julian to take his son up to see snow, and still had time for me! His helper took out the battery, new one was delivered rather quickly and I had a great working car in less than an hour, at a reasonable price. I now have a Prius mechanic! Thanks Will and helper (forgot his name).

Will gets it right! 2008 Prius had red triangle of death. Was burning a quart of oil every tank full of gas. Will Reconditioned the battery and solved the oil burning problem with ease. Definitely worth the price. Highly recommend.

So glad I ended up calling Will- had kind of a weird code and diagnosed it myself since I like working on my car. Tried to change out the part but I wasnt able to and called dealerships that qupted me way too much money for a diagnosis and part I already had. Called Will who was very polite about everything and said he would try to get me in same day. Charged me exactly what he quoted (way less than the dealer!) AND taught me about my Prius!!
