We had a window break at our home this morning. I called a few places. These guys seemed the best and cheapest even though they were a bit farther from my home.I dropped off my window they fixed it in about 90 mins and called when it was done.Over the last 20 years I have had 2 dealings with other companies, these guys were every bit as good as either and they did it at a cheaper rate.This is my first recommendation for any company. I do all this kind of work myself usually but at this price why not have a professional do it. I will be referring my customers here if they have any need of the services.

Made an appt. They said between 9-10am. Its 10am, day of the appt and its getting later into the day. Finally I get a call asking me what my address is, because they forgot to write it down. The guy came out, said he/they would call back with the estimate. Its now a week later and I havent heard anything. I call the shop and Im told I need to call back at 4 to speak to the person I made the appt with.Very unprofessional, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. But even this was too much for me.

I moved into my condo and the screen door was one of the things that needed to be addressed immediately. I called several screen companies and the prices were all over the place. I went with Park place because they are local and were willing to come check it out ASAP. They came on a Thursday and suggested I replace the entire screen door which was exactly what I expected and kind of wanted. They came at a reasonable price and had it built and installed in less that a week. Our previous door was rickety and fell off the tracks with every push. The new door works perfect and pushes open as smooth as you can imagine. It has a built in locking mechanism that works smooth as well. I will gladly do business with Park place again.

This business refuses to wear masks and will, in fact, yell at you if you ask why. During this time of COVID, I prefer to support businesses that care about their customers health, not their own political agenda.

The owner Ken was extremely attentive to my needs. I asked him which windows he would pick if he was designing a home for his daughter. Instead of me deciding, I had him decide on the windows that best suited my home. He found me a great price, was fast and efficient and was very friendly and professional. I would hire this company again in the event I needed a new window. Wish I could give 10 stars!

Park place never showed up and never responded even after I said they could use my measure to make or order new slider screen. He acted as if it was a bother to even talk to us and we have given them business in past.

As a custom wood shop, we have been getting all of our glass and screens from Park Place for over 30 years. One of our specialties here at San Diego Woodworking is restoring historic buildings which often require very specialized custom glazing. Park Place has always been able to accommodate us. Ken, Julie, and their wonderful staff have always been professional and are a pleasure to work with. We consider them family.

I would absolutely go to them first to get any glass repair! They were honest by giving me a cheaper option to bring in the moving frame of my window to save the call out fee. No other company even gave me this option! They finished it within the hour and charged a fair price

My wife and I purchased the building across the street and needed to replace the doors, windows, and screens. Ken was easy to work with, affordable, and very friendly. Our renovations were time sensitive and he always delivered right on time. Great service, amazing prices, extremely honest.

This place is a good old fashioned small business that works hard to satisfy customers. I came in to have a mirror cut and replace my wifes vanity bc we broke it while moving. The lady at the counter was super fast at getting another piece cut and was extremely sweet. Good people. This is the type of business that deserves traffic!!

I just purchased a replacement mirror today and came directly home to write this review. I have gotten glass/mirrors on at least 5 other occasions in the last 8 years I have never been dissatisfied with their service or products. This husband/wife team are both personable and enthusiastic. I always call at least one other shop to get a price quote and Park Place usually has the lower price. If their price is not lower the disparity is only a couple of dollars more. In my opinion Mr. Ramoss review is a bit harsh towards the end. Their shop may seem a little casual but it is fully functional. I do not feel that the old adage You get what you pay for is applicable. I could easily go elsewhere and pay more for the same glass. The adage that I feel is appropriate: You should not judge a book by its cover...

Very .very reasonable prices.came in unannounced and needed a piece of glass cut for light fixture I was in and out in less than 3 minutes the price that you quoted me for the glass was way cheaper than any place Ive ever been or called. Service was beyond what I ever expected and I will definitely use his service for all my window and Screen needs thank you Ken

I have been looking everywhere to replace the glass in our bedroom window nobody was open nobody could do it this man is my hero he did it in 20 minutes it looks beautiful I would recommend him to anybodythank you for so much for making our day!! God bless you

5 stars plus!!I broke a window early Saturday morning and needed it fixed by Tuesday. Called them up and then told me to bring it in. It was ready for pickup in two hours!! Excellent service, professional and not too hard on the pocketbook. I would go to them again in a heartbeat if I needed glass repair service.

Friendly, inexpensive custom glass and mirror cutting. They have replaced the glass in 2 of my 1920s windows, and replaced the mirror in my built-ins. Fast, excellent job every time.

Ordered custom size frosted glass for a project I was working on and the pieces came out beautifully! I had such a good experience that I went back to get my window screens all replaced and they did a great job- screens are all new - and for such a reasonable amount!

I had a mirror cut here and while they were easy to work with the mirror to two weeks to be prepared. I had to call several times and Im pretty sure they just kept forgetting to do it. Once I picked up the mirror it was scratched and broken on a corner so I had to arrange to have another one made. The new one is scratched as well but already mounted so Im not going to put any more time into it. No delivery option with these guys. Only reason I didnt give a one star is because they were inexpensive - but I guess you get what you pay for. Go check out their shop and you will see what I mean.

Horrible place and terrible experience, should have heeded the bad reviews now Im out my money and no product! This guy Ken is an angry and confrontational little man. He ordered glass for me AFTER I only asked for a quote based on rough pre-cut measurements, I agreed to try and make the glass work but it wasnt even close. He then had the nerve to tell me I had to build my cabinet doors out to work with his glass that was cut to small. It didnt work, he then told me it we as my problem and he would not replace the glass OR give me a refund. SMDH. I will never go there again and also try and dissuade anyone else from going through what I have. In the meantime I will use other channels such as small claims court and the state contractors board.

Came in with a freezer door that needed to be fixed for work. They did an excellent job and had it back in a flash. Will return for other glass needs in the future.
