I worked almost exclusively with Pat, who was super helpful. Since I’m located in Utah, they were able to FaceTime with me so I could check out the bike and they answered all my questions. Their prices were very competitive for the specific model I was looking for, which is why I had the bike shipped from them rather than buying from somewhere local. They weren’t pushy at all, and were helpful throughout the whole process. I’d definitely consider buying from them again, and recommend it to anyone else!

They do not give you all the important details you should know about when purchasing. Bought a Motorcycle IN FULL back in May and was not informed of some very important issues. Tried to buy here, hidden fees, tires should’ve been replaced if there is a $500 dealer reconditioning fee, but said ok anyway. Then process to buy drug out forever as they refuse to negotiate, have to go ask management for everything, they literally had a team meeting while I was trying to buy and made me wait through it. Since they won’t take credit card i had to pay with debit card and it couldn’t go through the way they were processing it and I couldn’t get through to chase (why i use my credit card) 2 hours later I had to go and just gave up and walked out.

Finally had the chance to stop by since I was in the Kearny Mesa area. Nice candy store! Great friendly employees greet you as you enter the showroom. The sales rep that greeted me had excellent knowledgeable of the bikes I inquired about. I know where my next purchase will be when I am ready to add another to my stable.

First time purchase here with my husband and Tania patiently walked us through everything. She was never pushy and gave us space to discuss among ourselves. Weve had a purchase at a different store previous year but in the end we ended up with a lot of hidden, unnecessary costs since the staff rushed us through the process (not 100% their fault, we should check everything ourselves). However, with Tania, when we needed clarification about any fees or documentation, shed double check it herself or had her manager do it for us. That really reassured us about their ethics. Very satisfied with the service.

My search for a Hayabusa led me to this dealership.From the very beginning the staff were friendly and accommodating.They shopped around for the best available rate and then delivered the bike to my location.I would recommend that you have the motorcycle that your interested in be inspected by a legitimate motorcycle dealership.I found out that the front forks were leaking once it was delivered.I contacted onyx Moto and they told me that the front forks were serviced.The dealership that found the problem let me know that whoever serviced the front forks did the repairs wrong.Good luck.

I found out about this place through an advertisement they had on Cycle Trader for a 2018 Ducati Supersport S The problem was that it was just a Supersport and not a Supersport S. They said that it was a simple mistake however the tag on the bike also said Supersport S as well as the ad on their website and it was selling for the price I could get a Supersport S for. Since it was hard to find the particular bike I was looking for, I figured I would settle for the Supersport and asked how much I could negotiate. They said the price was firm. Ive never been to a dealer or even heard of one that wouldnt negotiate especially on a used vehicle. I just found an actual 2018 Ducati Supersport S that has a full Akrapovic exhaust, fender eliminator and evotech sliders with the same miles that I am going to buy tomorrow for $12,611 out the door. And that is for an actual Ducati Supersport S, not a stock Supersport that the price tag was $10,499. I wasted my time at that place and wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Be careful buying a bike here. Look at most of these reviews, many are from the aspect of selling the bike to Onyx, not from buying from them. And the ones that do speak about buying a bike are about how easy it was to hand over the cash. Do your research.Many of these bikes are auction bikes, from unknown origin, unknown crash history, and unknown maintenance history being pushed at High blue book values, over pricing the San Diego market.Do your pricing research! High blue book / NADA values are for bikes with full service records, well maintained, clean, and cared for. Not auction fix ups. And no, swapping fluids isnt a huge value add, its what SHOULD be done regardless. Thats just best safety practices....All Onyx is doing is inflating the used bike market prices in San Diego, if youre a seller, thats great. If youre a buyer, thats not great.Ive spoken with multiple sales people from Onyx, and most were not informed about the bike, where it came from, its service history, or what had been done to it -- a few of them had clearly been low sided or crashed, but that wasnt mentioned...even when questioned about repairs or crashes due to finding ground handlebars or other components, the topic was just dismissed by the sales person.In the most recent conversation, I asked if timing belts had been changed on a Ducati that was almost or over 9 years old. Ducati recommends changing the belts every 5 years. If those belts snap, the motor will be all but ruined.No, the belts had _not_ been changed and the belts were almost twice overdue by age. When questioning this I got the answer of: Oh, we did a 80+ point inspection to ensure the bike is working to the manufactures specifications. We changed the oil and fluids, but changing the belts would be too expensive for us.What Onyx is saying is they 100 percent know theres an issue, wont mention the issue to their customers, and are willing to let their customers ride off with a bike that could completely ruin its motor at any point...Let that sink in for a moment.You really have to call into question the business practices being done here.And no, an 80 point inspection doesnt warrant the pricing models. GP Motorcycles does that for FREE for any bike that someone is looking to buy, either from their dealership or private party.Last question youll want to ask yourself -- do you trust buying from someone who tags every motorcycle in their inventory with every possible naming options -- i.e. spamming craigslist, offerup, etc. And NO the response from the owner saying they are trying to get their motorcycles in front of their customers. If I search for a RSV4, I dont wan the list to return every motorcycle you have -- I dont care.. Im searching for the specific motorcycle I want, not all the other stuff.

I was scrolling through craigslist when one of their bikes popped up. They had a SUPER clean CBR600RR 08. I had my hesitations but when I saw it in person, I was not disappointed! Kenny gave me the walk through when I showed up, and gave me a good breakdown of how it stacked up against some of the other bikes he has there.I ended up going with a newer CBR1000RR since it was only a couple thousand more for a ton more horsepower. Overall, super easy transaction, cant say enough nice things about this place.

The motorcycle that I purchased had in fact oil leaking from the front forks which I found out later by taking it to a dealership to have it tuned up and serviced.I was told from Onyx Moto that the forks had been serviced. I found out after I purchased the bike and had it looked at by a reputable dealership that they were not done correctly.In order for Onyx Moto to take care of the issue or at least address the issue I would have to have the bike returned at my expense, which would of cost me over $400 dollars. Onyx Moto made no attempt to pay for the repair or at least try to reach out to the dealership to gain a better understanding of the issue.I would recommend to all individuals that want to purchase a bike from them that you should have the bike checked out by a independent Motorcycle dealership before purchasing.

I gave them a call and told them the situation, and after I submitted the finance application I was happily surprised to hear that they got me approved! I came in a few days later when I had some time off and they had my new R1 ready to go. I just had to submit all my papers and then I was rolling after that down payment. I went to multiple dealerships, one big name one wanted $2600 for a set up fee. On accident I found these guys, they had a little 250cc i wanted for the gas mileage and commuting.Zero stress dealership, I did everything by phone, and even had to break an appointment due to work, they still kept the bike for me. They took care of the financing........yeah, this one was not a huge sale, but, because of these guys, I have to replace by big cruiser in 6 months, they will be my first stop........oh, in the picture, 1/4 tank of gas, when I went to get it, full tank of gas, those little things mean a lot to a customer

I have the worst purchasing experience in here. We made deal for purchasing one of their most expensive motor few days ago and they asked us to come back, it turns out they sold it to other customer without telling us. My husband drove all the way from beverly hills to their store and got to know the motor was gone! It is ok to sell to others, business is business BUT you guys should tell us it has sold so we dont need to go all the way down to your store. Such a wasting our time, unrespectable business owner.

My husband and I went to look at bikes 15 mins before they closed tonight and I could see two people in the back offices. We walked around and looked at the bikes for 10 mins. One of the employees looked right at us but neither employee came out and greeted us. They just lost a possible $10000 sale.
