RIP off!! this place gave me 70% of current market exchange rates and thru in a fee to boot. Do yourself a real favor, deal with a reputable place like your bank. Not these jokers.
We ordered overnight delivery for our trip to Italy and this is the 3rd day and still nothing. We are nervous because our flight is tonight.I would have picked the order up had they not said overnight delivery was guaranteed.
The best thrift stor I have ever been to! Products are amazing. Such a variety of old and new. The staff is very attentive, responsive and helpful. If you haven’t checked out Hoipolloi go do so this weekend!
At 4:10 sign said “back at 4:20 due to shift change” although worker was inside kiosk. At 4:20 worker was on phone. At 4:22 he said we’re closed for shift change and would open at 4:20. When we said it’s 4:22 he said he’d open in 10 minutes because he had to count. We left
So many negative reviews on this place make me wonder if this is a shady business regardless if it’s on the Canadian stock exchange.. no smoke without fire ignoring what ever the owner explains.
I had a ton of cash from all over the world after deployment. They made the exchange fast and easy. One $5 fee. No bull. Easy exchange.
Straight to the point, quick and easy. I liked that. However, after doing my own calculations I was expecting the 3% tax as they say. But they also take more out of each currency you give them AND then take the 3% tax? That’s a rip off if I’ve ever heard one...
The teller, Scott, was very detailed in the transaction. They were able to match the Bank of America exchange rate. I am most satisfied with their business.
Dont be fooled! they ask for 2% on the exchange rate but: the exchange is made at par, hence from euro to dollar absolutely inappropriate but thats okay, plus a further percentage is retained. out of € 1000 we were offered $ 899. crazy!
I had my Canada trip coming up and I needed a place to exchange my US dollars for Canada Dollars. I did my research and after talking with banks and even calling the locations in the airport I learned rates and fees can be outrageous. I called this company in the mission valley shopping center and they by far had the best fees, rates, and were very fast. Theyre very knowledgeable and friendly.
Quick, easy, convenient. You don’t need your passport to exchange if it’s less than a certain amount.
Scott helped me change out some foreign currency. Helped me verify the amount and was very straight forward with the transaction fee. Great service.
Very kind, cute, & informational clerk.
I have had my identity stolen from this company if you make any transaction over 5,000 they will take a copy of your social security number and your ID this information has been leaked this place allows customers to use stolen credit cards and wont stop a fraudulent transaction quoted as saying the credit cards insurance will pay off the victim of the stolen identities. This place is a scam do not use cxi or ceifx. You are better off going to any other currency exchange.
WARNING WARNING SCAM ALERTthis place is a scam any transaction over 5k they take a copy of your social security number and your ID. They will steal your identity. Very friendly and professional staff, Scott is very helpful! I definitely recommend it, nobody can beat their rates in San Diego, I guess!
This place gave me 500 euros notes and didnt wanted to change it into smaller ones. Now I am having problems to use that money during my travel because nobody is accepting them.
Shorted me of my money, used the conversion rate of yen to usd from YEARS ago. dont go here if you want all of your money.
Bad. This place doesnt exchabge foreign coins
When I checked Japanese yen on their website it said 105 yens to dollar, When I drove 20 miles to get there price was 95 yens to dollar. Official rate is 111yens to dollar at the time of writing this review.
The guy behind the counter was rude and rushed me.
Jerry sorted me out. I came in without notice to exchange decent >5k amount to change and after fairly rigorous checks (fair enough) I walked out cash in hand & happy.
Should change their name to paper currency exchange.
They use outdated conversions.
Easy, convenient, helpful, quick
