My experience was perfect in every way, Professional, follow up, quality of work was excellent. Excellent value. I brought in a non working Kirby and partial working Dyson. He ordered a part for the Kirby determined the motor was shot. No charge. Dyson ordered the part did the repair at quoted price and works better than new. I would refer all to him its difficult to find honest local business. Midway Vac and Sew is that business

Sweetest lady I met in awhile. Sadly, I was told they serviced my Shark but when I walked in was informed otherwise. Very kind and the shop is very well put together (staff also again 2x kind, cant stress that enough). Sadly I wasted 40 miles of gas otherwise 5 stars.

I have visited the company twice and the first time my vacuum was cleaned very well but a part was broke from my power head and they claimed not to do it which 1000% they did. I just lived with the broken part for could not prove they did it.Fast forward a year or two and I brought my vacuum in again to be cleaned and the elbow for the power head to be replaced. I thought I bought the correct part but found out it was not and was told I could not find a new part and to buy a new vacuum. I do not like to put stuff in the landfill so went home and did some investigating and found the part in about 20 minutes. Brought the vacuum to a different shop and for $60 it is repaired.I do not feel that they are honest and therefore do not recommend them.

I called Midway Vac and Sew @ noon the day before Thanksgiving and was a bit frantic since my Dyson wasnt working and I was hosting my family the next day. Shawn was awesome and told me to swing in asap so he could work on it before he closes shop at 3pm. I got a call an hour later and he gave it a full service and got it fully functional. Just in time for Thanksgiving. Thank you!

This place is great, the man who works on machines has a magic touch. I brought my singer sewing machine in because it had seized up, he fixed it in 2 seconds and didnt charge me. so kind. I will go back if I ever have anymore problems.

Great repair on my vacuum. Charge was as estimated even though he explained to me why it was a difficult repair. I cant remember the young mans name name but he told me he was the new owner of the shop and was trying to build up a positive reputation as it had previouslyNo been so good.I would highly recommend this shop for any repair work

This place is fantastic. I needed my vacuum serviced and it came back to me working even better. Such prompt turnaround! I plan on heading back soon after speaking with the owner Shaun, and purchasing a Miele vacuum for the future. They have the greatest selection!

I like these guys and would definitely recommend them! Unlike the previous reviewer, I was fortunate enough to have the owner (whos a younger guy, super nice) help me out. My vacuum broke while I was in the middle of cleaning during my move. I needed it fixed fast and Shawn (I think that was his name) helped me and said he could have it ready that same day. Made a quick pit stop over to Target and came back an hour later it was ready. Its been about 2 months now & its still working as good as new! Thank you so much! These guys saved me about $200+ on a new vac. Go there & definitely work with the owner if you can.

My vacuum stopped working on a Saturday. I dropped it off at Midway Vac and Sew on a Monday morning. The total time it took to drop off the appliance was probably less than two minutes. It was repaired and ready by Tuesday. I used it the next day, a Wednesday, to clean a rental and it worked perfectly. This shop is all about convenience and efficiency. The next time I need a vacuum repair, a vacuum part, or even just vacuum bags, Ill be returning to Midway Vac and Sew. The place is also an authorized dealer for Miele vacuums. Although I have yet to do the research on this brand, Ill definitely be considering it in the future for my next vacuum purchase.

I needed some attachments and Shaun the new owner helped me choose what I might use. He ordered 2 different attachments for me to look at and decide which I preferred. He even said I could try one out and if it didnt work, I could return it. Very nice. Thank you

Prices are always different every time I go in there to buy vacuum cleaning supplies. Kinda feels like Im walking into a vacuum cleaning and head shop. Being next to a oriental massage parlor doesnt help

When my old vacuum finally died, I stopped into Midway Vac and Sew. I was surprised to find an impressive selection of Miele vacuums. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking to repair or upgrade their vacuum.

My husband dropped off my sewing machine for a tune up Friday, they told him to pick it up Tuesday. I went Tuesday to pick it up (after not being able to find it since they had moved to new location down the street), and not only was it not ready to be picked up, it had not even been looked at. I would have expected in the LEAST a phone call notifying me it was not done. To make things worse, the older (and I mean very old) gentlemen was extremely rude. I have never, ever experienced that poor of costumer service and flat out rudeness in my entire life. When I tried to explain to him I am a nurse and work Hours that prevented me from picking it up in the next few days (and that was a reason I needed it asap) he rudely continued on to insult my profession. I have honestly never been treated in this manner and left, with my sewing machine, in tears. Would not recommend midway vac and sew to anyone.
