Horrible customer service. 3 times and every time I wish I would never go back. I love the brand but the people who work at this store get 1 star for how they treat people. You would be better off buying online. I’m defiantly falling out of love with Hermès because of them. Walking to Versace now to give them my money.
My experience shopping at the San Diego Hermes boutique was amazing! My husband took me shopping for my birthday and the SA, her name is Crystal who was so nice, patient and helpful.The rest of the SA there were all so friendly as well and I’m guessing by the way her work uniform looked, she may have been the store Manager, she came up to me to wish me a happy birthday, so nice!!! And Crystal included a very cute birthday card with my package. Thank you again Hermes SD for making my day more special!!!! I will definitely be shopping there again 😉
My daughter and I didn’t have an appointment as it was NOT mentioned that you needed one. We were told to wait outside, which we did. After they let us inside, a grumpy old bat that should’ve been working somewhere else, and NOT in customer service, walked us in. Little did I know that my wording changed how our experience went. She asked were we looking for anything in particular and my daughter preceded to sat “just browsing thank you” . Well, a dummy can tell you that all she saw was “no sale” and with in 5 min told us we had to leave because we didn’t have an appointment. I was not having it. The manager saw us and I told him we weren’t even done shopping when that woman told us to leave. He apologized and introduced us to Crystal. If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t have spent one dollar there.My final thoughts, they need to screen who they hire. Not my best experience AT all. 😡
I was assisted by Esteban. He communicated well when I called him before I visited the store. When I asked him for an specific item, he even took the time to find it. He welcomed me and my husband even though I do not have an appointment. I often go to Hermes to buy gifts for others or to myself. They wrap gifts well too. I highly recommend this boutique if youre looking to buy something nice. Place is kept clean and the staff look presentable! Employees here are so organized, they even take down notes. Good job!
I had my appointment with Katia and she was very helpful. I went to get a scarf, twilly and scarf ring. They had limited stock but was able to purchase all but the ring. They have more stock online so will order my ring from there but getting the chance to go to the store was awesome. I was a little nervous with reading some of these reviews but you need to make an appointment and know what you want and be flexible. I know not everyones experience is the same but I didnt feel rushed but welcomed. FYI - my response to my appointment request took 2 days so keep that in mind. :)
Poor service and experience. I placed an order online and when I came to the store to pick it up they said that they are busy with other customers and are closing soon so I should come back. They did not let me in to the store (I guess due to covid). The same thing happed on my second visit. I did not have time to wait so I left. Well....today I will be trying to pick up my order for the third time! I cant even believe it! I have already purchased an item and just need to pick it up which takes a minute. You pay so much money for this kind of service? It is good that I leave close but what if I lived like an hour away or so? I do not recommend shopping at this location.
Met a very rude saleswoman & had a very unpleasant experience at Hermès store.When I went to the store, I was told to wait outside. Finally when I got into the store, just in one minute, a saleswoman directly told me that I only had 15 mins at the store as she has an appointment after 15 mins, I was only allowed in the store for 15 mins walk in.The saleswoman was so rude & disrespectful. Could you imagine when you were shopping at a store, but the saleswoman tired to push you away? I was so mad at her, of course I walked out the store right away.I have never met such rude sale people like Hermes store before.Very bad experience at Hermes!
I was recently assisted by Katia who is impeccable. She managed to find time for me during what Im sure was a busy day for appointments. Once i was there she was extremely polite, kind, sociable and helpful. When i asked for advice she also gave me perfect guidance on what to purchase. It was my first time shopping in a luxury store and I was a bit nervous but that quickly dissipated. look forward to coming here again and again!

Today was my first time with Hermès . It was my dream to purchase something. And now I have this chance. I’m so happy that this chance fell on this store. to begin with, I will say that not a single store I called did not pick up the phone and did not call back. its horrible. only the only one in san diego. the salesperson on the phone was very polite. I immediately said that there was a product in stock and happily put it aside for me. and I was not sorry to spend 2 hours on the road. I am delighted . from service, from quality and from kindness. not many premium sellers are so honest and decent. usually viewed from high. I felt that I want to come back here. thanks to Helen Abraham and her assistant. Ill be back )

Great sales associates here, they’re very respectful and not pushy like in some higher end stores. Lovely store and masterfully designed. During the pandemic they require you to have an appointment to visit the store! Enjoy!

Hermes at UTC is my favorite store. Katia is extremely nice and friendly. She always welcome my family with a radiant smile and a warm hug. Every time we visit the store, Katia always gave us 100% of her time. She always goes above and beyond to help me and my husband find the items that we like. I always feel so welcome when shopping there. Everyone in the store is always friendly and nice. The manager is always welcome my family too . This boutique is not big but you can find anything you want! I have been working with Katia for months. She is so helpful and friendly all the time. She tried to help me find all that I wanted. All other staff in this boutique are nice too. But you wont regret working with Katia. Very pleasant and smooth shopping experience with her.

Very rude customer service, so the black lady that was doing the sales rep for the belts was too busy talking about their daughter being 16. When one of the customer said you have a customer waiting, and she said its ok they can wait.. But the lady was too busy chit chatting about something personal than actual work. Ill shop at another hermes store or a different brand, there goes your easy sales for the day gone just like that, too bad for the $1700 touareg belt that I wanted. Just because Im a minority doesnt mean you should treat people like that.

I love Hermes products and am a loyal customer but their customer service is just terrible. The UTC store attendants are extremely unhelpful and act like they are too good to wait on you. Their website says nothing about needing an appointment, and the store was completely empty but for two attendants inside. I called from the front door wanting to purchase 6 or so scarves for upcoming birthdays and xmas, plus a purse that I had selected online. The woman would not come to the door even though the store website says they are open for in-store shopping. She claimed they were booked with appts but clearing NO ONE was in the store. Hermes needs to teach their attendants some manners and customer service.

Ive been to several different Hermes around the country but this one in particular is terrible! I absolutely love the quality products but if your a minority sadly expect poor service and judgment from the staff that judges based on appearance if your not dressed up! They will hardly acknowledge you. One day I walked in considering purchasing a few items to celebrate my new promotion the sales team treated me so badly as if I was going to steal or wasting there precious time anyways I just left i rather spend my hard earn money somewhere else not worth the service or poor treatment.
Today I visited the San Diego Hermes to purchase my first Hermes scarf. I was warmly greeted by Helen Abraham and had the most wonderful shopping experience because of her. To most I’m sure it’s not that big a deal to make a scarf purchase at Hermes, but after I told her what I was looking for she went outof her way to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for. She helped me style and decide with ease and really took her time. Not pushy or rushed. Was so much fun shopping with her and she has the most mystical and elegant accent! It resonates with all the positive energy and beautiful atmospher she brings to the store. Can’t wait to be able to go back again. Will always make sure to ask for her when I go in. Best luxury purchase experience ever .
My wife and I made a quick visit to Hermes. Helen helped us. She was super in helping my wife identify a specific scarf. Again no sale was made because the specific product was not in stock. But the attention given to my wife while in the store was fantastic.
A great place for that one of kind item, if looking for a gift or for yourself it is a place where you buy a treasure. Flawlessly made, impeccable and unrivaled service, the staff knows the most minute detail of every item. This is where size doesnt matter, and not a bargain shop.
