Great atmosphere, tasty wines, knowledgeable and friendly staves. What else I can say about this wine shop. When they had everything that I needed. The bottles of wine that I bought from here was so damn delicious and has a good aroma. This place was indeed great to grab some glass of wine or a bottle.

After checking in to our hotel, this wine shop was our first stop. What a perfect way to launch our exploration of tasting, and in one afternoon we sampled more wines than we ever expected! The kind and warm nature of the owner, accompanied by the chance to indulge in some beautiful wines, makes this experience a must!

Without a doubt, one of our favourite people we met in SD was the gentleman that works at this liquor store. He was extremely courteous and knowledgeable about the area, and had a great disposition. So much so, that our next time back, we made it a point to go and see him again!!! This is a perfect pit stop to get anything you may need before heading to your hotel or AirBnb destination.My wife and I hope that the current situation we’re all in hasn’t been too hard on this establishment, or the staff who work there. Please stay safe and hope to see you guys soon enough!

Best little neighborhood store ever. Retro candy. Great liquor. Ice-cream . A bit of everything. I found a Spanish liquor 43. That i havent been able to find anywhere! Lovely staff.

I love this place! In north county authentic mom and pop style liquor stores arent very common. Especially in the Del Mar Heights area. This place is PERFECT when you want those small items but do not want to wait in a long line at the grocery store or deal with horrendous parking situations. They have a great assortment of snacks and candies that you will not find outside of a liquor store as well! They also have a huge wine and beer selection to go along with whatever necessity your significant other sent you to pick up lol. The owners are always super nice as well.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The owner of the store is a nice man, and I’ve never had any issues with him. However, the old Caucasian man employee with glasses is EXTREMELY rude. He raised his voice at me as if he is some sort of authority figure. If I were the owner I wouldn’t hire employees like him! Horrible service!

Every neighborhood should have a store modeled after this place. The inventory is amazing, they have a wide selection of wines, beer, sodas etc., the selection of candy and other snacks is fantastic. The owners are very accommodating and we appreciate their operation. Stop in if you are in the area!

Live this shop, its always been my families local sweet shop as it has sweets from many different countries, such as candy from where I grew up in England. The owner of the store is so nice and a pleasure to get to know and makes the stores authenticity unlike many others.They have typically cheaper prices then stores such as Rite Aid or Vons, but a lesser variety of products, however for a quick chocolate bar, chips, or drink its the perfect corner liquor store.
