Delivery took a little more time then I thought. This was my first time ordering alcohol online. So, I cant compare how long delivery should actually be. It was a little confusing on the delivery information. But, the bottles were well packaged. I would order again.

We looked at their website before deciding to drive here. They show all kinds of hard to find Irish whiskeys. Then we get there and it’s not even one location. The address listed is to a liquor store. They didn’t have anything that any other liquor store would carry. We were expecting a nice store with a high end selection. We drove 2 hours and it was a very BIG disappointment. They then told us some of what we were looking for was at the owners other store 15 miles away! It was nicer but again they didn’t have anything that they show on their website. So DO NOT drive here. Only buy online if they really do have it? Everything we wanted to look at they said was coming in sept or oct.

I never received an e-mail regarding my order until I contacted them via e-mail because you definitely cant talk to anyone when you call them. When you try to leave a message, you get disconnected before you can even say anything. Absolutely the worst online buying experience Ive ever had.

Placing my order was easy and I received a shipping notification the same day. The issue I had was that my shipping information was never updated and always said “no information available at this time”. This was nerve racking because someone has to be home to sign for the order but how do I know when to be home if I don’t know when it’s to be delivered. Luckily I was home when my order finally arrived three weeks after the shipping confirmation was sent. I may order from them again because they’re the only place I’ve found that sold the item I ordered.

Great prices but shipping takes a long time. Took ke 3 and half weeks to get my booze. Im in NY. And there was no update with the shipping so you have no idea how long it is going to take and it is hard to talk to somebody... anybody

Order a couple of bottles for a friend as a gift. The delivery window was 7-10 business days. Its been nearly 2 months, and my friend hasnt received the bottles. I was able to speak on the phone with someone a month ago, they promised delivering in the nex 2-3 business days, yet nothing. Now when I call we get: please contact us by email. Dont order from this place.

I received my order, but unfortunately the package completely smelled of alcohol. When I took out the bottles the epifania was half full. There were no visible cracks, except for some scratches on the back where the paint was removed.

I am East US and I have ordered 3 times or more. Uptown Spirits has been courteous, responds promptly and keeps me updated. I have used 4 different shippers and the complaints here equal everyone except my experience with Uptown Spirits. I can handle a delay for an international import, that goes with the territory. Every supplier I contacted was out of stock or claimed it was in stock when 2 weeks later it was not. Customer service was the distinction for me. I am not going to beat up on a supplier during covid when no one is delivering normal service. I credit Uptown Spirits with good communication and my last order came in less than 1 week. I would consider myself a loyal customer, orders come and go if you understand the market. Good service can appease impatient customers. I know from years of experience in customer service

I was looking for a specific Appleton Estate Rum for a friends birthday and wanted to customize the bottle. After searching I found a few different places but Uptown Spirits had the bottle I wanted and the capability to engrave. I was extremely hesitant to order from here because of the reviews, but I took a chance and ordered anyway.I reached out to them about a week after placing the order to check on the status. I knew it may take some extra time because of COVID-19 and that was clearly stated on their website. They responded back promptly letting me know that my order was with the engravers and would be shipped in a few days and it was.I am so glad I took a chance on them and ordered. They didnt let me down. The bottle and packaging is gorgeous by itself, but the engraving took it to another level. It was stunning.Thank you Uptown Spirits for making a birthday special for someone. Likely SCAM! Do not order from here! This place appears to be a scam. Ordered several bottles in October. The company sent me an email about a week later saying it had just finished processing and shipped. Then another a couple of weeks later saying the same thing. Then another. So, it seems they are just sending these emails out to placate their customers. When you click on the tracking info, it takes you to a site with no useful info, although sometimes a blank page, and this site looks like a scam shipping site as well. I have tried to contact them several times. No answer on the phone, no response to emails. They just take your money without sending you your product, as far as I can tell. There are many other reputable online liquor ordering to go with that are good businesses (I have successfully used a couple of others). Go with one of those instead. I am two months out with no product, no communication from the company. It did not stop them from charging my card, however.

Had a little trouble with getting the tracking number on the shipment to work. It took close to a week for the shipment to actually go out from the store. But other than that, the product arrived exactly as promised.

They sourced a rare aperitif for me at a reasonable price. They were very communicative throughout the process and I ultimately was able to get the bottles within a reasonable amount of time. I appreciated the option for local pickup as there are few local liquor stores with so large a selection. The staff are also quite friendly.

Do not buy anything from this store online. Online orders state they could take up to 7 days to process. Well I waited over two weeks then checked and saw my order was still be processed so I called and they told me it would be shipped out right away. Waited two more weeks, checked and still processing. Then sent an email only to wait another week for someone to get back to me to say the item was not in stock. On second thought maybe you should order from Uptown Spirits so while your waiting for your order to be processed, I can be sipping on mine that I ordered online from a real store that has the items they say they have in stock.

In my opinion it doesnt feel like this company is ready to operate as an online business in 2020. I requested a refund after two weeks of no shipping which they quickly provided. Great selection, but the lead times seem excessive when many competitors are shipping next day. Overall not a bad experience, just not one I wouldnt repeat until they have a better process in place.

Tons of emails no product

I got my product with no issues but I continue to get daily emails about my experience even though I have already rated, thus the 3 instead of 5.

Placed an order a week ago. They state to let them know if you need the items sooner, which I did. I bought something for a friend as a congrats on the new home purchase and asked them to rush the order since he would be moving out of his current address soon. When you call, you get a voicemail box that is full. I’ve emailed multiple times and nothing! I bought from this site when they first opened (when their prices were reasonable on allocated items) and there was no problem. I’m guessing they grew too fast. Awful customer service!*** UPDATE - I had to actually dispute the charge with my CC company (4 weeks later) as I never received tracking information for the bottle and my friend moved from the address. Again, BUYER BEWARE!!!

Placed an order early February 2021 in which I have yet to receive. Their phone number doesnt connect you to a live person nor can you leave a voice-mail. Finally received an email response from Trae B who is extremely rude in his response. Requested a full refund, filed BBB complaint. Not willing to prvide shipping details in which the order confirmation states you will receive an email from the shipping company.Never happened. Bad business!!!! Poor customer service. Do not order from this company unless you want to make a donation!!!!!!!!Update...This company still refuses to acknowledge they messed up and kept my money.Your reviews speaks for itself!
