I decided to visit Ortho Mattress on Miramar after an unsuccessfully trip to Mattress Firm, and Im glad I did. I was able to find an bed in my price range and our Salesman Mark McFarland was extremely helpful and friendly. He made our mattress buying experience simple and enjoyable. My mother and I left the store with exactly what we wanted and then some. We were both pleasantly surprised with how quickly Mark was able to help us make a decision on our mattress purchase. Im a stickler for customer service and this place definitely has it. My partner and I were just pricing around and this was literally our third stop. Mark is just wonderful! He explained in great detail each mattress. He didnt try to force his mattresses on us. Not the typical pushy salesmen. AND he is VERY Military friendly!!! I decided to upgrade from a queen to a king, so I was on the hunt for a reasonably priced comfortable mattress. Justin Schinke was extremely helpful and made this tedious task a delightful experience. He was very accommodating, patient, and informative. I never felt any pressure to buy anything, but his Jedi mind tricks worked! I ended up with a mattress that I truly love (both price and feel).I called him several times to ask a few questions and request changes (I know, Im a pain), but he was very responsive, genuine and helpful. He followed through from beginning to end to make sure I was satisfied with everything. Im extremely grateful.

Avoid this company, especially be wary of their private-label store-brand mattresses. They are engaging in outright-consumer deception.I have some low back trouble and am tall, so I needed a large mattress, so I opted for a California King.The standard size for a Cal King is supposed to be 72 in × 84 in.When the product arrived at my house it was marked as 71x 83in, and measured 70 inch x 82 inch. Where did 308 square inches of mattress go? Even taking the extreme pessimist margin of error of -1 inch on each dimension, this is outside the realm.This company relies on consumers trusting the standards and then, to save on costs, delivers them less than what was paid for. I do not recommend doing business with them.

Buying a new mattress was a lot more than my husband and I anticipated! We had no idea that there were so many options and things to consider. Since you basically spend 1/3 of your life in bed, we did not want to make the decision lightly. We went pretty much everywhere that sells mattresss in the Miramar area, even the janky stores. We thought were set on getting a Tempur-Pedic Breeze (which they do sell at Ortho Mattress, by the way) because MOR Furniture had a pretty good deal going. Mark, the store manager at Ortho Mattress, offered to give us the same deal on the Tempur-Pedic, but also introduced us the their brand the Ortho-Pedic Luxury Firm mattress with cooling technology. We did not make any commitments that day and Mark was understanding of that. He answered all of our questions and gave us his card if/when we were ready to make a purchase. We did not go back until 1 month later and not only did he remember us, but he kept his word and gave us an outstanding deal! We walked out of there with way more for our money than if we had gone anywhere else. If you are in the market for a new mattress, go talk to Mark at Ortho, or anyone at that store honestly, they were all super friendly! Thanks, Mark & Ortho for everything!
