All workers at this location is extremely knowledgeable about the department they work in. This is a huge convenience when you need to purchase something in a category youre not an expert at. So I always feel very comfortable making purchases here. Ive been shopping this store for over 25 years and I wont go anywhere else. Thanks SD Big 5

The employees (cashier) that work here are extremely rude. It ruined my shopping experience and part of my day. I would recommend ordering online instead.

Excellent customer service! Better than the Covina location which Ill never go back to again horrible experience at the Covina location. San Dimas is way better

Great store and service. Used to live by Pasadena store, so crowded and busy. Love the San Dimas location great help with hiking boots and supplies for trip to sequoia. Had to exchange something, manager ( I guess) helped cashier and friendly. Have returned for additional supplies.

The gal in the shoe department was extremely helpful. I wish I had gotten her name to give her credir.

For me it was a Bow & Arrow combo and a Metal Detector on Sale! This Big 5 always has in house clearance deals!

Nice little sporting goods store. The deals on shoes are always live. Look for their email one day only deals, they usually got something on sale thats worth looking into. Many locations to choose from. Friendliest employees around.

Found what I needed and checked out quickly. Store is small but well kept.

I give it a three because the stuff just isnt made to last. Its just brand names made in china or elsewhere. It just doesnt stand up to the test.

Great assortment of sports stuff. on coupon days the prices totally rock better cheaper faster than Amazonwho wants to wait for a ball for two weeks and pay shipping on top and most of the time taxes

I always get my shoes for hiking, boots for hiking, water shoes, all kinds of shoes at Big 5!!! You got a wait till they go on sale, which they always do, and then get a good pair for cheap cheap cheap! They actually last very long the ones I’ve gotten. And big five workers are usually cool.

This store had a lot of good Sporting Goods stuff

I shop there because its close but the customer service sucks, not like it used to be. Also they dont keep up with inventory demands, if you can get someone to help you, they probably have what you need buried in the back.

Since REI only sells really expensive stuff, and Walmart sells cheap stuff expensively, Ive taken to going to big5 their cannister fuel is the best price around, and they usually have good deals on outdoor clothing. Also, they still sell ammo.

Went in for shoes for myself an son, didnt have the best experience with the cashier Joe, he just didnt have it together that day. Took forever to ring everything up an misplaced one of our items at the register. We then got home to find he left the security tags on both pairs of shoes we purchased now we have to go back to the store to have them removed. Manager we dont need apologies
