An amazing volunteer driven event. All set up to raise money for an incredibly worthwhile cause. You cant beat the atmosphere and the workers are always happy to see you. No better pumpkin patch or Christmas tree lot in the 7x7!

Located in Fort Mason (behind Building D and E), this is a covered tree lot with a variety of trees to choose from. Paid parking lot ($3 for one hour). Free adult beverages and hot chocolate. Food for purchase. A volunteer will help bring your tree and tie it to your car.All the workers are volunteers and the proceeds go to charity. So the trees may be a bit more costly than a regular tree lot, but the experience is second to none.

This tree lot is as good as it gets. Highly recommended for picking out a tree, buying ornaments, enjoying free adult beverages while you shop, and for the many events they hold there throughout the season.

WE LOVE THE GUARDSMEN! Have been coming here for over thirty years for our trees and they are always the best in town. The organization that sponsors the event (the Guardsmen) is a wonderful group of men who take their philanthropy very seriously.

The Guardsmen Tree Lot at Fort Mason has been continuously operated for over 70 years. All proceeds benefit Bay Area youth. Fort Mason is a beautiful setting to find the perfect tree with their massive selection of trees. I was happy to learn that not even a pandemic will prevent this all volunteer organization from serving their community.

We picked out a large twelve pound pumpkin and a couple smaller ones for the kitchen table.Love the charitable mission to help send underprivileged kids to summer camp & pay for scholarships.10/10 will be back next year.

Great pumpkin patch, with vintage pickup trucks that are great for family photos. They had Carmel apples, popcorn and a beverage section for parents. Most fun pumpkin patch in the city and the money goes to a great charity!

This is the only place to buy a tree in SF hands down. The Staff are all volunteers and the money raised from tree sales helps benefits a great cause by sending at risk Bay Area youth to summer camp. The trees are fresh and you can have a complimentary beer or glass of wine while you pick your tree. This place will definitely help put you in the Christmas spirit.

Once you step foot in this place, youll realize that Christmas really can come early! Starting the weekend after Thanksgiving, Fort Mason Pavilion is transformed into a winter wonderland where even adults can feel like a kid again. The tree selection is top notch and the service by the hardworking men in green jumpsuits is impeccable. Theres even a play area with a jumpy house for the kids! The lot is run by a group called The Guardsmen, a nonprofit that provides summer camperships and scholarships to Bay Area at-risk youth. This is is hands down the best tree lot experience my wife and I have ever had. Were already planning next years visit!!!

Things I learned when I visited The Guardsmen Tree Lot: The only INDOOR tree lot offering delivery in SF and surrounding area with second-to-none selection, customer service, convenience, and hard-to-beat amenities (including hosted bar). The experience is hard to beat whether youre in the market for a tree, wreath, fresh cut garland, or a wide variety of holiday accessories -- and apparently the proceeds go to support charity efforts for local kids. I know I wont go anywhere else!

The Guardsmen Tree Lot has been selling trees since 1947. The indoor tree lot is a family tradition and the best location to find a tree in the Bay Area. 100% of proceeds go directly to their non-profit organization that sends kids to summer camp and creates scholarships for San Francisco kids. Everyone is a volunteer at the lot and they are very helpful!

Huge selection and for a good cause

I went the first year we moved to SF because of all the reviews. They have two little bounce houses, some cookies and drinks but our crooked four foot tree and a small two foot tree came out to be a little over 100 dollars. I understand theres a premium since its for a good cause, but getting a Christmas tree from one of the lots in Bayview or Sloat is definitely more affordable.
