About as non-punk of a store as you can get in SF

What a gem!If youre looking for punk look no further, but if its not your thing they have a solid selection of other genres. They always have a good amount of used records that rotate often, but my absolute favorite thing about this place is they price their records justly!! Such a relief as it seems like every store in the city does the opposite

Visited there for the first time today. I am a serial vinyl shopper but rarely walk out with anything because of how crazy expensive shops in San Francisco are. This shop was great! I found 3 records I wanted at extremely reasonable prices. I only stopped buying because I couldnt spend my whole day shopping, but honestly I wasnt ready to leave. Very happy that this shop is nearby and cant wait to visit again!

Killer store. Great vibes, great smells and great music. Everyone coming in and out of there was cool as hell too and could and wanted to hold a conversation about music. Also just a really good selection of lesser found vinyls and underground artist.

Amazing record stores especially for fans of metal and punk (especially crust/d-beat). Found some cool gems here at reasonable prices and the staff was very nice and played some classics. Loved this place. Knocks Amoeba Music out of the water.

Thrill House is quickly becoming one of my favorite places in the neighborhood. Great staff, cool music always coming from the deck and a reasonably priced selection of music that while punk forward maintains an eclectic mix of genres. Did I mention its a Co-Op? Whats not to like?

This store has the vibe of the old days. Great music playing in the background, a wide variety of vinyl, but best of all, vintage singles and well grounded in punk and rock. Everything in sleeves, well preserved. You can get a copy of Maximum Rocknroll here. Great store.

This place definitely specializes in punk rock records more so than any other genre of music. The people who work there are a ton of fun and very knowledgeable, however Id say if youre looking for a more generic record store with a variety of options, then check out Amoeba at the end of Haight. The $1 selections at Thrillhouse are pretty great however. I got some really dope halloween records

When I saw the storefront, I couldnt help thinking of Quentin Tarentino: Thrillhouse Records. Grindhouse? Either that or Halloween and some kind of house of horrors. The music on the records inside wasnt exactly much of either: not really Goth, but seemed to be mostly straight ahead punk, I guess its not the hardcore stuff, just undiluted Sid Vicious or Johnny Lydon. Its a pretty small shop, and different from other ones. I guess this one would be pretty good for your punk needs.
