Best Daiso in the LA area! Huge with free parking. Daiso is a Japanese dollar store thats particularly known for great quality. Its especially great if youre looking for something Japanese and specialized (wooden pudding spoons, replacement bento elastic bands, Japanese chawan bowls, ginger graters, etc). They carry a lot of stuff exclusive to them and not just discounted big name brands. I love the travel and camping sections for really random little things youd never think of. Also great for crafts (washi tape, origami) and gift bags.
My go to for adorable Japanese stationary and stuff I dont need. Store feels fancy, well lite, and clean. Its an high end dollar tree store with different daily essentials, small gadgets, make up, crafting supply, etc. Everything is $1.50 unless marked. Was hoping to find some paint pens, which they did, but it was in one color only, gold. They did carry poster markers that almost fooled me to believe them to be Posca... LoL
Su much variety for a great price loved it. I wanted to take the whole store 😩
Great stuff! Huge range of items! Not junk like youd expect from an discount store! This one is bigger than the east la location.
I went in to buy things before I got off work in the evening. The staff said they had finished get off work and asked me to check out immediately after one minute after get off work hours, and their attitude was very unfriendly. Is this the attitude towards customers? I am angry
Great selection and its very busy
Store was clean and organized. Not your typical Daiso for it was smaller in comparison to other stores Ive visited. Selections are going to be at a smaller volume. Service was decent so I will give them a four.
Great store for affordable asian stuff, currently they dont have much stuff due to pandemic but its still a great place to shop for asian stuff 😄
Such a busy store wouldnt let me pay my $45 receipt with a $100 bill knowing they had change. Not one sign posted anywhere about the 100$ limit, because i asked. The MALE employee (who which I think is a manager) was also trying to regulate store rules ive never heard before. I was a huge fan of diaso until today.
Worst shopping experience ever in Daiso because a female staff name Ann or Ann something who had bad attitude and very rude to me.She don’t feel sorry after her colleague pointed out her problem.Maybe she had a bad day but that’s not my business:)
Wide selection. Good prices. Courteous employees!! Go Daiso. 👍
The cashier Susan is not nice. They dont give out the charge directly to your hand. She would drop the quarter on the floor. Very rude and she doesnt talk nicely. She also did not give other customers the change in their hand. Whenever I come to this store, Susan will always drop the quarters on the floor and doesnt put the money carefully on customers hand. When she drop the money on the floor, she does not say sorry and she would call next customer.
If you love unique little stuff from Japan, this is the place to go
Great store, low prices and very fast service. If you like Japanese stores that have small, practical things to organize your home, this place is perfect. Highly recommended when in Monterey Park.
Great things to order.
They have some small Japanese things at affordable prices and you will get some unexpected things
I feel like Im in Japan, hombre! 🥸
Store is clean and organized. Stuff are reasonable price and most of them are good quality. I used came if I have a chance.
Everything here is $1.50 (unless specified)! And theyre all designed in Japan (although most of them are made in China). They have almost everything! I bought many things here and keep coming back cos its just so enticing!
Aisles are a bit narrow but its only because theyve got tons of stuff in their store. their stock is almost always neat and no slot is ever empty.
Great place to shop for $1.50 items. I got a couple pairs of stylish sunglasses and am very happy with them.
Has a lot of little things which proves to be handy/useful in everyday life. Price of $1.50 is a bit pricey for some of the items though.
Better quality products than the 99 cent store and still way affordable. All items are $1.50 unless theyre marked with some special price.
Best place for cheap, cute, and useful products. 1.50 for everything, and everything is worth it and has character beyond what you get at your standard dollar store. They also have a decent selection of Japanese sweets, something I can rarely resist.
Great store with thoughtfully made products designed in Japan. Also a great spot to spend your time when waiting to get seated at the dim sum place on the top floor.
A wonderful Japanese dollar fifty store, all kinds of nick nacks & useful gadgets
A fun place to shop for household items that are inexpensive, things such as microfiber cloths, mugs, kitchen utensils, notebooks and a bunch of other goods. Things here are typically $1.50 plus tax, but some things are marked otherwise, there is a sign that says that. Overall, a fun place to shop for inexpensive items.
Good selections of merchandise. Thos location can be hard to find parking though.
Very happy to have come across this piece of Japan in California. Fantastic Products. Loved it
Place. OK place.
Nice Japanese dollar store! You can find all kinds of little stuff here. Quality is alright but price is cheap
My husband really likes going here. Its like a $2 store. Many asst products. Employee staff is not too good. Its probably due to the large number of daily vistors.
Nicely stocked store within a mall. This location is big with focus on house hold items for the kitchen, storage, and snacks.Free parking lot, credit accepted, not everything is $1.50.
They no longer accept Samsung pay. I had always used my Digital wallet to pay and no they no longer accept Samsung Pay. I feel alot of people use their phones to pay, not here anymore😞
Terrible place to shop. They always mis-price their stuff and charge you more than the posted price. I hate shopping at places that are dishonesty, fraud, and irresponsible. It is a miracle they are still in business. They have no decency to carrying for their customer. Just because its cheap, they can disrespect their customers. It is false advertisement for what they do. Its illegal!! When you ask for as manager, theres never anyone to handle a situation.
Nice store with great selection of items. Price has increased so standard price us $1.50 unless marked otherwise.
My kids favorite place! I let them buy whatever they want since its so cheap. Also very good quality for what its worth!
Very cheap, you can find a lot of great deals here, and cute stuff
Great selection of stuff for $1.50 each. Japanese version of dollars store but much nicer.
Daiso is how I spend way too much money on adorable cheapass Japanese widgets. Seriously this place is addictive and Ive never been so organized in my life. Please send help.
My kids love coming here, and shopping for anything that catches their eye...
Big store, but as organized as the other ones. Parking is not pleasant most of the time. Id much rather go to the other Daiso stores in the area.
Love this place. Everything is so cheap and fun.
They alway have thing u looking for, better than the one at the Atlantic
I mean cmon. Who doesnt love daiso?
Nice slection an fairly organized.
The Asian 99 cent store....cant go wrong.
Always find some great stuff here and real cheap.
Good
There have all kind cheap stuff for store all kind small items for board game
A bit smaller than most places. The selection is still different depending on the needs; Ive seen stuff here that isnt offered in other ones. Remember their cash minimums.
There have all kind cheap stuff for store all kind small items for board game
Clean, nice cashiers, great quality for ridiculously low prices ($1.50!!)
Every Daiso Japan has its own uniqueness and wide selection of goods. This Daiso Japan of course, will cater to the Chinese crowd. They have more things that Chinese people would want to buy, use, own. There are tons of stuff I see here that other Daisos dont carry which is fine since I make trips to San Gabriel almost frequently. My father had said that this is like 99 cent store, but its all about the packaging and arrangement which makes Daiso Japan better than the 99 cent store. I hope I can reference that. Daiso Japan has anything from hats, gloves for the winter, brooms, ear buds, snacks, drinks, etc. So far they dont have food. But thats ok, you can always buy the ramen there they have thats ready to cook in hot water. Daiso Japan, the mecca of shopping for those who are on a budget and want to feel like they are shopping in a Japanese store. Sometimes I feel like Im in Tokyo Shopping. Ahhh!!! Thank you Daiso!
Love to shop here for the low prize and cute little stuff.
Nice
Its Daiso! Everything is $1.50! How much do they rock! I actually send my students to Daiso now to pick up a few art supplies and save some cash. Their metal shovels arent mega-sturdy, and yes you can actually bend the metal if you get over-ambitious in your beach-sand pushing, but I dare you to find a metal shovel anywhere else for that price!
Crowded, sold out of popular items and parking is not great. Like the chain but wont be back to this location
Always fun to visit and pick up something.
$1.50 for most items. Kids like the cheap stuff lots of plastic
Poor costumer service.. but great finds!
This place rocks. Great products and prices
Favorite place to buy my school stuffs.
The San Gabriel Daiso seems a bit less organized than the Monterey Park Daiso even though it is larger in size.
Just like any other Daiso stores. Almost everything is $1.50. Parking is not always great here.
Great place to shop for inexpensive items
This Daiso is so much bigger than the on one on Atlantic, and its even closer to my house.
Lots of items to shop, and cheap too
My wife and daughter love shopping here
Very nice place
This Daiso store carries more items compared to the one in K-Town.
Fun and cheap place to shop
Cheap and good qualities
Good for shopping.
Its an okay store. No refunds.
Good $1.5 store.
Always has some new items, the quality is so so, most of them from China!
Nice, cheap, clean
Cool stuffs!
Love this store!!
Its like a 99cent store from Japan

I love this store something very different from my culture but very interesting
Good service clean and tidy
There are some daily necessities in the Japanese-style cheap grocery store, and the quality is very good. It can be said that it is excellent value for money.
