We have 6 window screen replacements done by this store. 5 of them are okay.One (Figure 1) has been done with about ¼ narrower, but it is OK to cover the window.One (Figure 2) was done with a measurement mistake, too short. It was re-done. This window size is exactly the same as the one showing on Figure 3.The pull tags from the store are the black sold square ones. Those from the window manufacturer have a big hole inside (Figure 3), it makes the window screen easier to pull out.On Feb 15,2021, we had 2 window screens replaced.The senior screen supervisor, Ruben served us. I told him the black solid square pull tags issue mentioned above. He was so friendly.On Feb 17, 2021, my sister picked up the 2 new window replacements. The smaller one is perfect with the pull tags liked the manufacturers. The bigger one (Figure 3) was a bit too high, I was unable to mount it up.On Feb 18, 2021, my sister went back to the store to request for an adjustment. Nick, the guy who made the replacement, told my sister that the replacement was made smaller, its a perfect size, the problem was that I didnt know how to mount the window replacement. Nick refused to do the adjustment.I then called Nick, he repeated what he told my sister. I told him that I had no problem to mount the other smaller window replacement. I also told him that I clean up our house windows every spring, so I know so well how to remove and mount back the window screens. He said: I dont know.He just didnt want to admit and fix his mistake. He then passed the call to the store manager Jil.Jil and I basically went through the same conversion. Jil said: May be the window replacement is new, it is difficult to be mounted at the beginning.Finally, he asked us to take the wrong window screen replacement back to store to have it adjusted.On Feb 18, 2021, Nick was there. I showed him the difference between the old and new window screens, the new one is slighter higher. I dont know why he kept saying that he had made the new one smaller already. He said that if he can cut the size ¼ smaller, but then it will be too small.How come the one showing on Figure 1 has no problem? It is about ¼ smaller on the width.Nick then had the owner to talk to me. Hs feedback was so much the same as Nicks.I told the owner: Why would I pay for something that is not usable, something garbage? He kept saying: It is not a garbage. It is perfect. We cant fix it.I then said to him: Liar! I want my refund.An Asian female worker came to tell me: He is the owner. You shouldnt have said that hes a liar.The cashier at the counter near the main entrance said: Owner didnt authorize us to issue a refund. I went back to to ask the owner why. He said because I called him a liar.I have seen reviews complaining about not getting a refund from the store.Why would I kick a fussy on this particular window screen, but not the others? Why would we have to make so many trips to the store for this issue? The owner was so mean. He had a very bad manner, so did Nick.The owner finally authorized the refund. The same cashier didnt know the refund price. I told her that the one for bigger size. She said: Sometimes, bigger size can be cheaper.Really, I have never experienced this for my other 5 screens. Its always the bigger the screen, the higher the price.The Asian female worker sitting near the paint section said: You dont tell her what to do! She said it loud twice, so rude! She then came to measure the screen and told the cashier the refund amount.The communication between the owner and the cashier was poor. It was so obvious that the owner, Nick, the Asian female worker and the cashier teamed up to give us the hard time to get a refund.With your poor customer service, Mission Hardwares business will never be as successful as Home Depot.I have attached the pictures to prove that the store do make mistakes on window screen replacement measurement and I know how to mount the window screens.

I go here for plumbing parts. They are better Stock than plo and hursh. I like it there. The other places you have to special order. Its better than home depot for older plumbing parts.

Got help from multiple staffs. Got what I came for.

Aaron is a superstar. This was the fourth hardware store I went to with what I thought was a simple plumbing problem but I should have went here first. As soon as I walked into the store Aaron greeted me and asked how he could help. Unlike the service at the other (much larger) stores, Aaron clearly had a ton of knowledge and was able to solve my problem quickly and easily. Thank you very much for your help, this place will always be my first stop with any home improvement needs in the future.

My go to place for great customer service and always fine products. True a new home Depot opened closer to where I live but I have worked with the staff here for almost 10 years. They have always answered my questions and helped in anything I ask for. They are also one of the few places that offer key replica for smaller keys. Home Depot wont do them anymore.I ha e bought and gotten advice on anything from paint to mouse traps to faucets and I get an answer EVERY time. A++++

This hardware store very quaint prices are very good if you dont want to go into Home Depot and be bombarded with people. This is a good alternative. I have chicken in remotes from my car and garage door opener and they gladly put the battery in no problem. Good service

We came to Mission Hardware looking for Benjamin Moore paint, and were so glad we did. We met Aaron during our first visit, and he offered helpful tips walking us through our painting project, making product recommendations, and keeping our time and budget in mind. Even though this store is a bit out of our way, weve gone back twice since to pick up additional supplies, and every time Aaron is helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. During one visit, the store was a bit busier, and Aaron expertly fielded questions from multiple customers, was extremely patient, and treated everyone with the utmost respect. I was truly impressed! Its a night and day experience here versus other big box hardware stores. The same cashier has helped us each time (Im sorry Im blanking on her name!), and she was polite and professional (and even recognized us during our subsequent visits). A kind young man voluntarily helped us out to our car during our last visit. The folks here are fantastic. Definitely worth the drive!

Place is smaller than those big box stores. I didnt find what I was looking for. Other than that, place is clean and prices are competitive.

They carry a few items that are hard to find locally, and there are plenty of helpful associates to give you a hand. Reasonable prices too, cable ties were cheaper here than the same style that I picked up earlier at Home Depot.

Plumbing part. I needed a T-fitting for my ice maker. I did the HD and the best they could do was build me $28.00 of parts reducing and enlarging to make the part. I could not believe they did not have the simple part. So off to Ace I went, of course with all the fittings I was overwhelmed. I asked an associate, Nester for help, he worked on it but could not make the part I needed. He said “no” It can’t be that hard and at that time another associate was walking by, Robert. Nester explained to Robert what I needed. Robert walked over to the next aisle reached down grabbed a part and handed to me saying this is what you need. I was so happy to get the one piece part, and at a far better cost. Nester did have a hard time but it was because I was in the same section as the HD person had me in, I should have been in the pipe section not brass fittings. 5 Stars to Nester & Robert.

Nice local hardware store. Friendly staff and good inventory. I needed a plumbing connection and they had it here when home depot and a plumbing supply store didnt carry it.

The guys that work there are legit trying to help people solve their repair problems. This is an extremely difficult job and people are difficult and yet these hardware workers do a spectacular job. The prices here are definitely higher but what you get what you pay for in fantastic service. I wish this location was more spacious and had more selection but what they do have is p good.

Ive been going to Mission Hardware for 40 years. Its my go to get quality hard to find items without an online search or big box store hassle. On this trip I was helped by a very knowledgeable 16 year old employee. It was nice to see new staff, because of covid I worry about the older floor help. This young man taught me how to read the LED lamp packaging codes! This will make all my shopping trips more efficient

I had a great experience at Mission Hardware today. It was pretty easy to physically distance from other people. Everyone was wearing masks and at the register they had plexiglass barriers in front of the cashiers. The woman who checked me out was very friendly. They also had very reasonable prices.

Ive probably been going here for 60 years since I was a little kid I would ride along with my best friend add his dad on Saturdays. Maybe the big box store has better prices I dont know, but who cares as soon as you walk in someone is right there by your side to help you. The employees seem to like working there and its probably family owned business.

Some of the nicest people you can meet. very helpful, and will bend over backwards to help you even if they have to send you to another store.. you dont find that nowadays very much.. two thumbs up for service and quality.

There is a lot to be said for the smaller hardware stores like Mission hardware. It may cost you a few cents more but let me give you an example of the difference from The Big Box store. I needed some hardened replacement bolts and at Home Depot the drawers were a total disaster. Nothing matched I stopped looking after 10 minutes. I came down to Mission found what I needed right away in the drawers that are very organized. Boom done. Paid a couple pennies more for the bolts but saved all that aggravation and i was helped right away. Another example is when I needed the drain valve for my air compressor. Home Depot didnt even carry it and Mission had three different sizes. Done again

I had to buy a few items for my home and this place has great pricing and if you get coupons in the mail definitely take advantage of it! Staff is nice and friendly . They have a variety of options of items and fixtures, toilets etc

This place existed since I was a kid. Nice place. Large variety of stuff. Since its a small store, one can quickly navigate it and find what one needs pretty quickly. Idk about pricing compared to home depot but :).

Its amazing to me that you could fit six Mission Hardware stores into a Home Depot, but whenever Home Depot doesnt have something I need, I find it at Mission Hardware. On this visit I was looking for older closet door hardware. Checked HD first because its closer to home but no joy. Went to Mission and found it. Very well organized, clean, and well stocked store.

You will never be let down with Fr. Gilberts message very approachablevery person who would give you the stall off his back he is very soft spoken but articulate which are well thought out and delivers the message to all in laymens terms passively with a one two punch a straight shooters may not get the answer you want to hear too bad because he just may have helped you save your soul.

Organized, good selection, quality choices, helpful staff

This place offers a great variety of tools and items. I went here after going to a sporting goods store looking for a good flashlight to bring to hikes. I couldnt find one and the cashier told me to try this place. The flashlights they have in the flashlights area are pretty outdated. I settled for one but as I was walking to the register area I found more. It would have save the cashier and me time if all the flashlights were in the same area.

This place will always hold a special place in my heart great service reasonably priced equipment cant get any better still holds ace value to quality and service.

The products in the shop are very complete, and the waiters answer is very detailed. If you cant find what youre looking for, just ask the waiter. And the price of the product is moderate, not very expensive.

My grandfather has had an account with this place for decades and he and his building manager are both given excellent service. I went with him recently and while the first guy we spoke with sent us in the wrong direction (which was because he was helping someone else and had taken a second to ask us what we were looking for) the second guy brought us to the right place and gave us advice about the pipe clamp we were buying. Then the cashier was very friendly and said she knew our building manager, which was very nice! This place is great if you want a less generic hardware store.

1st time I came to the store I was pleasantly surprised, it is much bigger than it appears. They had a lot more variety and selections than I imagined. However there prices are the same if not a little more than your big brand stores. All in all this place has come through.

I have been going to mission hardware for years, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I usually go to get keys made but they have a large variety of tools and other household items. Their prices are not as low as Home Depot but the quality and staff make up for it. Theres no where else I would go to buy tools or plumbing items.
