There is options to buy the installation or repairs and maintenance of your products, it’s called as Geek Services. Customer need to buy the Geek services so that Bestbuy team will take care of the products. All latest electronics products are available across all Best Buy stores. The small components are not available in the stores. It’s predominantly Televisions, Audio, latest laptops and accessories. Also most of latest gadgets and gaming products.

We purchased 2nd SIM cards for phones that had dual SIM capabilities. The salesperson provided us with many options with different providers. Then set up both phones, and made sure they worked before we left the store. Excellent service. Then, when we were browsing some of the laptops, several sales associates stopped by asking if we needed any help. Very pleased with our overall experience.

I went to Best Buy to pick up Came here to pick up some items that they sell. Unfortunately every item I wanted they do not have on the shelf. It was very difficult even figure out where to find what I was looking for to find out they did not have it. Prices were not obvious. And received no assistance. Its very clean and spacious. And the bathrooms are nice.

I cant believe that Im saying this about Best Buy which is one of my favorite stores. But my experience at this particular store whats really frustrating at best. Their prices seem awfully High a printer cable that goes for $9 on Amazon whats $40 in the store. It was marked wrong and none of the associates really cared much about my concern. Also the location isnt safe as far as traffic goes thats not Best Buys fault thats the fault of the city of San Jose. I cant leave them one star.

A little over priced but the great thing is that they price match most major retailers. Since Frys is history my family and I get all our electronic needs from best buy. I recommend that if you buy anything that is over $100 you get their 2 year protection plan (this has come in handy in more then one occasion) they will repair or in most cases replace your broken electronic item. They have everything from PC components to large home appliances and everything in between. You can also go there to get a new phone since they have kiosk for every provider. I used best buy for most of my gaming computer components and for my homes entertainment system.

We dont have issue with bestbuy store itself. However, we had very bad experience with their Geek Squad repair service dept in the store. We had ipad pro that screen cracked last week. We need an urgent repair as its a school ipad and is needed for daily school work. When I dropped off the ipad, I specially said that we need it urgently, if it cant be done quickly, we will go somewhere else. The person working there promised that it would be quick, that only 1-2 days for ordering the parts and they can do the repair. Several days passed, I did online chat with best buy customer support, the representative there checked this and told me the same thing, that they are ordering the parts, the ipad is still in the bestbuy store. They would handle this in priority and call me within 12-24 hours. More days passed, no email or phone call. I went to the store today and found that all the previously talk were lies. They have never done ipad pro repairing in the store. They always need to send the device to apple to repair, they dont know how long it takes and they have no way to track the progress. So basically there is nothing they can do to help and we are just stuck...

Best Buy (or maybe this location on Almaden Expressway) always has great customer service. Weve been shopping at the Almaden Expressway location for years. The guys in the computer/laptop/printer department are always knowledgeable, friendly and give their advice and its much appreciated. Nick was awesome and he knows alot. I came into the store looking for a dell charger since my laptop charger started to be defective and I needed one soon (my laptop needs to be charged for school work). I could not find one in the store, but I noticed alternative options here. I was going to look up how effective these alternatives were on my own and just hope they worked but Tommy, a customer representive at Best Buy, asked if I needed any assistance. I wasnt sure where to even begin but Tommy was patient and answered all my questions while attending to my worries. His insight and recommendation helped me get on my way and ultimately helped me get back to my school work.This is the exact reason I go to Best Buy and I am glad to have people like Tommy assist me here at Best Buy.

Mike at the Geek Squad (for auto installations) was of great help and installed the SC 200D cobra dashcam in my car, with perfection. I did carry along with me, a hardwiring cable and he mentioned that the one i had could run into causing battery drains and recommended a different cable which i ordered right away (from amazon).He was very patient and explained things in a very calm and friendly demeanor. His experience with these sort of installs clearly said it all as he put away the wires just fine and had the camera up and running in just the right time.Just perfect with his customer facing skills and definitely balancing it really well with his technical knowhow of what he does and deliver. Would definitely recommend him in case you are looking for those dashcam installation(s) for your vehicle(s).Thanks Mike!!!===========================================08/06/2021Another great day, another great example of amazing work done by Oscar at the Auto install (Geek squad) center, today. After getting the dashcam installed in my car a couple of weeks or so ago, i got in the harness that would keep the cam on in parking mode as well. Got an appointment for it earlier with the folks there and got it setup (it was not Oscar who helped at that time), though it would not turn the camera on, after the car was parked for a long duration. Called them back and was given an appointment for today.After checking in, Oscar took over and was able to address the problem. His attention to detail and making sure that not only the wiring of the cam was done properly, but every single piece that he had to take out to get the wiring was arranged properly as of new out of the factory. Pretty clean stuff.Not only did he setup the wiring properly, he infact made sure that the settings in the dashcam were correct, that it was recording in the parked state and after ensuring all of this he walked me through the problem and the fix and handed over the keys. Been smoothsail for the cam since then.Thanks Oscar for your time and help with this!!!

Came in here on Black Friday. It was super busy! There were people everywhere and the staff were dealing with lots of questions and assistance needed. My husband and I were looking at tablets for our kids and ANTHONY deserves a huge shoutout! He pointed us out to the perfect tablets for our kids! He showed us the SD cards to boost up their memory! He even helped us get the perfect kid friendly cases! After helping us with our needs he closed us out a register to. Not only was he helping us, he was acknowledging other customers to letting them know he would be with them after us. He was definitely everywhere and never made us feel rushed even tho there were plenty of other people he needed to tend to. Seriously he made the experience perfect!

Very spacious and great lighting. There seemed to be a lot of merchandise on display but unfortunately the tv we were looking for was not in stock. There was a male employee that works in the home entertainment area that was very knowledgeable. My husband is a tech guy and he was actually impressed. Wish I would have written the employees name to give him kudos on this platform he was very knowledgeable and thorough. 4 out of 5 stars only because they were out of stock on the tv we wanted.

UPDATE: Went back in today for a portable AC. A bald guy in a BB shirt walked by us and hubby asked him where should we pay (havent been there since before lockdown). He rudely replied, Im with a customer! and stormed off! It was just a simple question! Then another employee was available to help us. Her name was Priscilla and was the sweetest person! So helpful! She even apologized for the other guy being so nasty even though she didnt have to. 10 stars for Priscilla and -3 stars for the nasty bald eagle.

They have a variety of products that meet everyday use and for the most part the employees are helpful, the low score is for the lack of help when it comes to store pick up. Each pick up takes time to process and give to the customer, I know this and I dont even work there. Youd expect those in charge of scheduling would take this into consideration and schedule more people to help, especially during peak hours of the day. I waited in line for 15-20min for help and while waiting, a long line formed behind me all waiting for the same thing. It made the whole process incredibly difficult, especially since it was supposed to be a simple way of making a purchase. I may stick to Curbside from now on, and I suggest you do the same if you want to shop here.

Online ordering pickup was quick. You click the how to check in for Curbside pickup link on your order confirmation and pick up email you receive from Best buy. When I reached the store, I clicked the link and there is a box when u click the link where u can specify car make/ model and any other instructions. I kept my trunk open and added in the instructions to leave the order in the trunk. I barely had to wait for 2-3 mins. The employee got my order, kept in trunk and asked me if I want the trunk to be closed and I said yes.. thats it. The pickup was quick and hassle free.
