So neat and better prices compared to their major competitors. Had my online order picked up at the store. While some of my items could not be supplied due to running out of stock the staff at Joann were EXTREMELY helpful. A special thank you to Chelsea who helped me with my order that couldnt be supplied due to the remaining fabric running shorter than a yard.

If you need fabric cut, make sure you pull a number! I thought it was a queue up kind of thing, and ended up getting passed up multiple times before I caught on- but thats on me, not the store. Otherwise, they have great prices when you work the coupons and sales, good selection, too.

This location is well stocked in the items they have, but don’t have a huge variety. Lacking significantly in the yarn craft/crochet/knit options. Seems smaller than other locations I’ve visited. Cramped with limited stock. Doesn’t get specialty or limited edition items as often as other Bay Area stores. Employees are nice and helpful! It’s great if you’re looking for the basics.

Im pretty torn on this review! I have had some less than great experiences when they are understaffed, but some exceptional experiences overall. For their value, expertise and wide selection of fabrics Im going to lean toward 5 star all around.

Friendly staff, and was very politely greeted after waiting 20 minutes in the sunny covid social spacing line. Busy busy store. There’s so much merchandise, it’s a bit overwhelming, so I took my time to go up and down aisles and rows.

On a Sunday afternoon, theyre busy all the way to the 5pm closing time. As part of the COVID protocol, the store can only allow a certain amount of people at a time. Six feet distancing is well received throughout the store. My purpose was to purchase elastic bands for my wife to make homemade face masks at home. Similar to cutting and purchasing fabric, I have to take a ticket to get employee help. Employees are friendly.

This store is becoming such a sad place to go. They are pretty much the only fabric store in the area right now. So maybe thats why its that way now. Theres too much craft stuff and not enough sewing and fabric. It always seems so messy and unorganized. And so much fleece fabric why??? Lets get some more fabric for clothing in there! Less yarn, less crafts.

Always a favorite stop on my shopping list. One of the few places that fabric can be found anymore. Helpful, friendly staff. Clean, bright and well laid out store. Quick tip: last year I found better deals by shopping around Veterans Day rather than waiting until Black Friday.

Always an adventure going to this store in the best way. Im not a fan of the carts that you have to pay for but its only a quarter. Now I know for next time. Im always trying to get myself out of the store before I buy more. Parking isnt bad either.

This is a HUGE store compared to the joanns I normally shop at. It has everything. There is a massive amount of fabric you can peruse to your hearts content. It truly is a crafters paradise (especially sewers and quilters). BUT BEWARE!!! The cashiers do not ask if you have coupons. If you forget about them, they dont do anything. They will not return the items to use the coupons and they will not retroactively adjust your prices. If you have coupons, REMEMBER THEM AND MAKE THEM SCAN THEM!!! Its almost like the cashier I had was doing everything in her power to not scan them. I dont want to be a Karen, but in this economy, every little bit helps.

Honestly one of the few places left in San Jose that I dont cringe when I think about going and dealing with the staff. Everyone we have spoke with the last several trips has been super friendly and helpful. My only complaint is needing to play the coupon game to get a good price. I prefer stores that just offer a deal, but in the meantime well keep jumping through hoops to get the prices down.

Curbside pick-up is super convenient! I prefer this outlet over the one at Cupertino.

I love Joann. Its my favorite DIY store and I can spend hours and $$$ here. That said, I appreciate the fact that they have sanitizing wipes next to the carts when entering and they have plexiglass dividers upon check out. Mask is required and of course, they suggest you maintain a 6 feet social distance with one another.

If you use a wheelchair or other mobility device, youre going to have trouble getting around this store. The aisles are narrow and the main area in the front has a large display that severely limits movement and makes it impossible for someone in wheelchair to get to the registers, its barely wide enough for their carts and a person cant pass when a cart is going through.

Very very highly priced not enough employees 1 cahier 1 cutter great selection but really overpriced, cheaper to get online from $6.49 a yard, at jo-anne its $19.99 a yard hell noooo I will not shop at a rip off store I see your company filing for bankrupt soon

My favorite Joann store in the bay! Ive probably been to most of the ones in the area and nothing compares to the level of service provided here. The clerks at the registers are always friendly and have a sense of urgency, so even if the line gets a little long it moves pretty quickly. During the pandemic this store in particular has taken really great steps to protect its employees while still servicing customers.As for the merchandise, it seems like a smaller location in size but Ive always been able to find what I need, so the selection is very broad. As with any Joanns location, its important to come armed with coupons which you can find online or in the app. The app and website could use some work as it doesnt seem to sync well with some stores inventories, but I dont recall having that problem at this location, while other locations will just cancel orders repeatedly with no explanation nor update to the inventory listed online.

Super wide isles looked for some paint . after 15 min walking around i found it in the card section not with other paints. No floor staff to ask. Sales person seamed he did not want to be there. Clean in side store. Parking lot needs help.

Must pay a quarter to use a shopping cart, can’t find anyone to help find an item and must wait in line for someone who is checking people out to ask where something is- they tell you the wrong place, and they won’t let you use coupons without downloading app. Have not been in a long time and my trip just assured I will not be back. Too many options to deal with this kind of service.

It gets pretty packed here on the holidays and coming weeks of holidays. Key is to go early morning. Long lines normally go rather quickly. Staff is polite.

If I cant find it, want to make it, need to make something spectacular, Holliday gotta haves, all my arts, craft, and decor needs forbspecisp projects I go to Joanns. I always get awesome customer service from wonderful associates. If I had 4 thumbs Id give it to them.

I placed an order on line for a curbside pick-up and when I did not hear back from them for 2 days I called and was told it takes up to 4 days for them to get orders ready. 4 DAYS is unacceptable to me. I ordered 4 items. Also when I called I was put on hold 4 times before someone helped me. Maybe 4 is my unlucky number! I cancelled my order and I will order from somewhere else.

I have been visiting this Joanns for many years. The staff is helpful and the store itself is well stocked. It is rare that they wont have something that I need. Clean, organized and well lit. Use the app for coupons, if you pay for something for price, you done goofed!

So good. I had multiple coupons in my email and the amazingly helpful and friendly cashier Max helped me apply them and saved me a bundle on my craft supplies. And I didnt catch a name but the employee at the fabric cutting station helped direct me to the supplies I couldnt find and knew exactly where to send me. The only problem was that I wanted to buy everything!

This Joanns is tucked beside Savers, but big space inside. I bought a sewing pattern from their huge selection. Huge selection of fabric. Not too sure about sustainable fabrics but everything else needed for sewing. Also, a selection of crafting supplies.

I was so happy to see a Joanns! All of the ones in the Bay have closed. This location is really tucked away, the parking lot, (shared with Safeway and several others), is a nightmare and the store is smaller than I am used to...BUT; once you get inside, it is clean, well lit and welcoming! I had found out, on the way to see my bfs daughter, that it was her b-day! So I popped in to grab a gift. Joanns is great for picking up a little something gift. I was not disappointed. The cutest pair of Arrow earrings were in the jewelry section AND at 40% off! The line went quickly and I was out the door! I will return again. Thanks Joanns!

Employees dont know what they are doing. Store doesnt have what online says they have. Only one cashier at the register, line to the back of the store. Im removing my app and taking my business elsewhere.

Great selection of fabrics and craft stuff. Been shopping at this store for a few years now. Their coupons are super redundant. Ive been shopping here long enough to not fall for their doorbusters (a term way overused here) and lowest price of the season sale ads. Aside from their ad gimmicks its a pretty well stocked store and most of the staff is really friendly and helpful, specially the persons at the cut counter. I have had a few issues with online orders being cancelled due to the item being out of stock only to go in the same day and finding the item myself. Probably some one not wanting to go look for the items but overall not representative of my shopping experience here.

I love the variety of fabrics! Make sure to use their mobile app to get the coupons. They dont have a great variety on other products like zippers, buttons, etc but they the basic materials. This specific store is kind of at the back of plaza so parking is limited and sometimes I need to park by Safeway to go here. One more tip, make sure you buy all your fabric or wool at once since there has been times that I go back to buy more and I cannot find the specific one that I am looking for anymore.

Great place to get supplies for sewing and other projects. All of the nearby competitors have closed down, making this the closest go-to fabric and crafts store by me. Ive taken a class here and hope to have time to take more. The only downside about this stores location is the parking lot. It is pretty busy since its in a strip mall shared with Safeway and other stores, and not that big, so drive carefully.

If you are a person who loves to craft, this store has a vast array of supplies for everything from yarn arts to paper crafting, to painting and cooking. My only complaint is that the price scanners dont work. I buy tons of beads and they are never on the correct hooks, so a price scanner is necessary to check the prices before going to the register.I would also add that every employee I have ever interacted with has been helpful, polite and very friendly. Ordered a curbside pickup order over a week ago w no update until today when told all of the items in my order were no longer available. I value the workers who are still going in during this dangerous time to a job that is probably less than essential but this was very frustrating due to lack of communication and now the fact that I have to place my order again in a different fashion and get everything even later than I was expecting.

So many choices for sewing, knitting materials and craft projects. They also have puzzles, picture frames and cake decorating products. I find this store easy to navigate because of its smaller layout, and good signage. This is my go-to place for well priced, good quality crafting products.

I love what they have in the store.The only disappointment I had was that I had bought 2 items and I had to return them a few days later(found it cheaper somewhere else)when I returned them, they only gave me half of what Id paid for. I lost my receipt.Other than that, there was a high pitched noise that would go off every 2 minutes. Its hard to ignore, but it gets annoying after awhile. Bring your earpods, if you want a nice shopping experience.

Went there on a Saturday morning and I was the only male in the store. Super friendly staff, showed me exactly what I was looking for. They dont have a huge variety of speaker grill cloth and its of the cheaper variety. However, it works well and looks great for my purpose.
