Soni was like my fairy godmother! 3 weeks before my wedding date, I had no idea what I was going to wear. A friend of mine connected me with Soni, and via text messages, she knew instantly what I would look best in, and she picked out a dress that was more perfect than anything I could have dreamt up. She had it ordered, altered and wedding ready in time. She cares DEEPLY about your dress and how you feel in it. I felt more beautiful than I thought possible. I first visited Soni at BB Bridal in May 2020. Within seconds of meeting me, she found the perfect dress for me! I tried on a bunch of dresses after that, but quickly realized that Sonis instinct was the right one. She was able to give me a fair price for the dress, which included a bustle and pressing the dress. Soni also helped me order my three bridesmaids dresses at a special rate. Even though the dresses were ready in December 2020, she let me pick them up in May 2021. My wedding dress was in perfect condition and fit like a glove for my October 2021 wedding.In addition to Sonis fashion sense and bridal expertise, I have to commend her for being a truly wonderful lady with a warm heart! She checked in on me during over the past 18 months and even wished me congratulations on my wedding morning! I cannot recommend her enough to friends and family!

Soni is probably the most professional and experienced wedding gown maker in the Bay Area. I only described to her on the phone the kind of style I wanted and with modest alteration, and she was able to pick a dress from her inventory and alter it the way almost exactly how I wanted the dress to look. The alteration was spot on! There was no last minute stress. Sonis experience in wedding gowns is what sets her apart from other shops. Shes able to take measurements and make decisions that exceeded my expectation. I highly recommend this place.

She is VERY good at taking your description of what you want and picking out the perfect dresses to have you try on. When I came in, she had a dress ready for me to try based on my preferences. I only tried on that one because it was perfect and bought it!High quality materials and she will tell you exactly what she thinks. If you need help knowing what looks good on your body she is immensely helpful!

Soni is the absolute best! I bought my wedding dress from her in 2007 and even went back when I married the right guy 8 years later. She was able to order my dresses to fit so I didn’t need to pay for alterations. I was able to get my dream dress from her for 1/3 of the cost it was at another store. Soni still texts me and checks in on me from time to time. She is the absolute best.

So many nice things to say about this place. The owner is so sweet and knows what she is doing as she has plenty of experience. She will work with any of your needs or adjustments to your dress. The place is really clean, she says she spends more time cleaning the place than her own house! She was so patient with me and my mom. All the dresses they have to offer are beautiful and you can customize them jowyou like.EDIT: If anyone wants to rent or buy the dress from me message me. Everyone is sooo wowd by it. I am 5 feet 100 pounds :) size 0-1 usually.

Zero stars. Im reposting this as my previous review seems to have disappeared. Soni was rude, which isnt very professional but thats not the main problem. I was way overcharged for a dress that I ordered and very disappointed with the quality of it for the money that I paid. I never wore it and had to buy another wedding dress else where...

I dont even know how to start this review. Soni is just amazing. I had been dress shopping in multiple states and just couldnt settle for sure on a dress, although I found one I liked a lot. I came to Soni, and she immediately could see what alterations needed to be made to the dress I liked to make it fit me perfectly. Several months after ordering the dress, I asked for the dress 6+ months ahead of schedule; and Soni didnt hesitate before saying she could do it. The dress was perfect - fit like a glove, and I was getting compliments all night! The look on my husbands face when he saw me in the dress - I will never forget it. And all thanks to Soni!In most bridal shops, an attendant helps the bride pick a dress, then 6 months later the bride comes back for a dress fitting and only then she meets the seamstress who is at that point limited in what can be done to fix the dress. With Soni, she is the one person who helps you both pick the dress and make adjustments! She can customize the dress to great lengths, even combining the top of one dress with the bottom of the other. She will be frank with you about what is possible and realistic, which is what every bride needs! She will stop at nothing to get you looking perfect and will see you through every step of the process! And all this at very reasonable prices! I firmly believe every bride should go to Soni; I cant even imagine the impersonal service going to another bridal shop after working with Soni!! Make the best decision in your wedding planning and go see Soni!!

I found Soni through yelp on a whimlast year while looking for a dress for my wedding. Soni is seriously the best in business. She has a real eye for what looks good on you and what doesnt and she will tell you! This is exactly what brides need when searching for your dress. She worked with me throughout Covid when plans changed and I decided to buy a last minute dress for a backyard ceremony. She was able to completely transform the dress and it looked like it was made just for me! I will be recommending her to all my friends and family! Thank you Soni!!

I was very happy with my experience with Soni! I RARELY write reviews, but my experience with her and the dress she created deserve it.I came here on a whim and could not be happier with the outcome of my dress. I came in already knowing how I wanted the bottom part of my dress to look, but was unsure about the top. She found a dress whose bottom I liked and then helped me design the top part, as I did not like the one that came with the original dress. Definitely a one of a kind creation! She also knows what will look best on your body type and will tell you the truth (versus just telling you you look good just to make the sale).I highly recommend Soni!!

I found Soni after going to several bridal shops with no success. I got to her store feeling defeated & like I would just need to give up on my dream dress. The first thing Soni did was measure me & ask me why I was thinking of wearing certain styles (she correctly guessed it was because of insecurity about something). she then told me that based on my measurements, there were other styles that would be more flattering. She pulled out 3 dresses, and the I guess the third times the charm motto really is right. It had everything Id wanted in a dress but couldnt find anywhere else.Heres the thing about buying a dress from her: you get her expertise in fitting/tailoring & all the moral support you could ever need. She helped with finding my fiancés suit, helping us coordinate colors, and checked in every week to make sure I was doing okay.She is honest & to the point. She wont put you in something that wont flatter your body. If she doesnt have what you want, shell be honest.All-in-all: I can not recommend Soni & BB Bridal enough.

Soni is the cutest, most honest friend a bride can have. Shes always so cheery and reassuring, confirming that my dress was in good hands. Before she took me on as a client, she examined the dress in detail and shared with me the process/challenges to alter the dress because of all the lace/stones on the dress. But her crafty hands resolved all the issues that came up and made the dress perfectly mine!

Soni was warm, friendly, practical, and attentive. She didnt bat an eyelash when I explained that I was going to be married in the Mormon Temple and needed a more modest dress. She pulled out all the stops to get my dress made in just three months and it fit perfectly. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a dress everywhere and finally found one with Soni, who is also the seamstress. I was more comfortable with the seamstress being in a house and the same person who was selling the dress. Soni was super patient with me and she also listened to exactly what I wanted while also giving me her professional and honest opinion. What I wanted was extremely detailed and Soni told me what was realistic and what would look more beautiful. Soni went the extra mile for my dress by giving it a few custom details that she knew I would love without my asking (all which could be undone if I didnt like it). Soni was patient with my scheduling and made sure she listened to what the bride wanted rather than those such as the bridesmaids or mother of the bride. I trusted Soni would know best on a lot of questions I had about the dress since she has seen plenty of dresses and has customized them according to how the bride wants it. I would recommend BB Bridal to anyone. Soni is willing to do whatever she can in whatever time is allotted to her if it is possible she will work her butt off to get you what you want and need!

Soni is the best! I would recommend her to anyone!What I love about Soni is how fast she responds. I initially called her and left a voicemail. She called me back as soon as she can. Afterwards, we communicated a lot through text--again, immediate response. She works really fast as well. I was actually a customer of another store that went bankrupt and I didnt have my dress still (3 months before my wedding). Soni helped me by getting my dress from Casablanca asap and she made sure all the alterations are perfect. She was very quick with the alteration. Soni made me feel calm and made me know that everything will be okay because she got my back (everything was definitely okay!).Soni has an eye for this business. She can tell whether the dress suits you or not and she will give suggestions as she sees it. She is exactly who I needed because I dont know what looks good on me or not. She is there for the brides throughout the entire time. She will check up on you after you pick up your dress and make sure you are good to go! She is the rock :)Also, a note for the LGBT community, you will feel safe with Soni :) Like I said, she is the best!
