Love this place, they got me into an Android Auto head unit for a great price and I couldnt be happier

Went to 4 different San Jose shops before finding this one. Once i pulled into the lot i believe his name is “Kevin” told me to park in their driveway and he immediately hit me with customer service. Helped me find exactly what i wanted at a Excellent price. Gave me tons of options and brands. Had me in and out the door less than an hour with sub hookup and more. They even have a little lounge area for you to sit in. Win win!

So messy. They take your car apart and dont put it back. Horrible work.

This place is trash! I know a few people who have gone here and had the same problem as many of these other reviews. I feel like they create more problems so you can keep going back so that they get business. Im the dummy that keeps going back 🤦🏽‍♀️ Go. Somewhere. ELSE. Yall.

Bought an alarm spent $200 they didnt hook up the switches in the door so basically all I have is a shock sensor. I brought it back to the guy he wants to charge me more for installation and parts. Door switch for jeep are $9 on eBay and you need a Phillips screwdriver for one screw on both doors and the plug is already there. So he wanted to charge me 50 more dollars to make my alarm work other than a shock sensor. They sell a battery operated portable device it does everything my alarm does (same 150db alarm w/shock sensor and remote) for $18 on eBay or Amazon. Zero customer service or good business practices for that matter. He should have recognized this before doing the install id be paying $200 for an installed shock sensor alarm. They didnt even Mount the relay the zip tied at two other wires, horrible install. The blue blinking light is double-sided taped to the steering column.

So here is my experience so far... I would give them 0 stars but thats not an option. 3 sets of subs and 7 visits later here is what happened:I bought 2 TW1 JL subs for my Ram and all the recommended equipment. I made sure to follow what JL recommends perfectly. A couple months later, I start noticing a weird smell, I am told that they are just new sub smell, then a couple months later they blow out..I was then told that they will warranty the subs, send them in, but I suspected bad wiring and asked them to check this for me. Anyways, JL honors the warranty and I am told that the TW3s is what AudioWerks recommends by JL and I could just pay the difference from the TW1s. From the time the subs were pulled to the time the new TW3s came in was about 9 weeks. I made sure to ask things like will these fit in my current box?, will these fit under my seat?, etc all before we even decided to go with the TW3s... They say yes. The new subs come in and they are too deep for my box. So they were wrong there. They have to order me a new box and they keep my old box (I am pretty sure my old box was more expensive than their new box but whatever). New box gets installed and its pressing up against the underside of my rear seats. I instantly question this and ask them if that is enough clearance and everything..A couple months later we go into lockdown. I rarely drive now and mainly work from home. Even when I do leave the house, its not always in the truck so not much miles at all with the new system. One day I noticed they were sounding kind of weird. I pop the back seat up and the subs are literally melting onto the bottom of my seats from the vibration and friction plus it pressing up against it. I call them and make an appointment because they need to fix that.They pop out my old subs and it takes 13 weeks for them to get in new subs for me. My rear seat is permanently damaged. To make matters worse, I paid out of pocket to buy spacers to raise my rear seat up so they can get it to fit correctly, and it still doesnt fit correctly. Even when I came in to get the new subs installed, they at first were acting like I would pay for the labor to install these spacers, but I told him no and luckily he listened or else it wouldve been a lot worse than a bad review.. Before the box was too tall, now the box is too wide and rests on the spacers. Its no longer hitting the bottom of my seat, but its floating rather than seated cleanly. But my biggest problem with this place is that this was just fixed in February and I am already hearing weird things with these subs. I swear it is a wiring issue. I just dont want to go back here though. If it blows out again, Im just going to take it to a new place and send them the bill for everything plus new rear seats. This is ridiculous. Do not waste your money here. Its a scam.

This place is awesome! I went in to get an alarm system and Front LED lights put in. They have a lot of knowledge and work very quickly. Plus the prices are very reasonable. Sean is a great guy he makes sure the job is done right and Will work with you on pricing. I will definitely be back.

Overpriced! Wanted to charge me 40 dollars to mount a sub into a box. The job literally takes 15 min max. At this rate, even doctors dont make as much. This place is a rip off!! Wish I could give 0 stars

I was super exited to get my stereo installed. He =quoted me a price and then called me and said he was gonna have to charge me more.no problem right as long as all the spears work i wasnt worried. i picked up my car and all my tweeters dont work or my subs under the seat he said that would be a extra 200. I couldnt believe it. on my way home once i hit a bump on the freeway music starts sounding super distorted.Now im gonna have to pay more money to get his bad work fixed. he has a no refund poicy which he didnt show or tell me about till after i paid. IM gonna take this with BBB I regret not waiting for an appointment at some other shop. If. you care about your car DONT bring it here

I was just window shopping today because I plan on upgrading my system soon. The gentleman at the counter (not sure if he was the owner) took the time to come out and look over my current setup and made some suggestions for how to improve the sound I already have. Note: they can make custom boxes here! Which is awesome because its hard to find shops in this area with that capacity, especially having an addiction to both heavy low bass, and my convertible top. Stop by these guys are friendly with good prices too.

They have been putting stereos in all my auto for years great job. Always take care of anything that comes up with my stereo and great technicians and friendly.

2 different DJs recommended this place so I gave them a shot. They had the alarm I wanted and got it installed under the estimated 2 hours. Cant tell that anyone had Ben in the car. Got a top of the line alarm and installed at a good price. Considering my cargo it is all good! If you want to protect your equipment I recommend this place without hesitation

Called a day ahead for alarm system for my car, dropped it off and i told him i needed to get to a meeting. he gave me a loner car and sent me on my way. picked up my car and showed me the features of the new alarm system, which i was pretty stoked about. no up sale pressure, i will be returning for more alarm upgrades and stereo upgrades. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The installation went very fast. Got the upgrade Ive been wanting to put into my car so that I can make a call from my phone through my stereo. Everything clearly explained. Exactly what I wanted and expected.

Bought an Alpine Stereo for my mint condition 95 Mercedes. Was installed and working perfectly in about 25 minutes. Most impressed with how they located the mike for the hands free phone.

Awesome workmanship. Fast and super reliable. Very knowlegable on car stereos, alarms, remote starters, subwofers, amplifiers, back up cameras, blue tooth devices and installations. Have not gone to anyone else for any of those needs since I became a customer 15 years ago. I trust my cars only to Kevin and Sean.

This shop was great. Had a large selection and the salesman was very informative and helped answer any questions I had.

I had one place install my cars alarm (they screwed it up), then I had a different guy fix some issues that the first place could not do, (but did mange to create his own mishaps) then I took a chance with Sean at Audiowerks on Bascom Ave.. He asked his tech (Robert) look at the issue that I was having, within 30-45 minutes he had all the issues ironed out.Thank you guys for the good work.

I do not recommend this place at all! I recently had a Kicker Sub Woofer and Amplifier system installed on my car and it has failed multiple times. I took the car in to get serviced multiple times and it continued to fail after that as well. I have filed a Claim with Wells Fargo Bank and they cannot do anything for this so I will be taking this to The California Bureau of Automotive Repair and the Better Business Bureau. Also, the owner is reluctant to return your money even after how many times his installation and products have failed.P.S. The installation is not clean. Very Messy With Wires.

I had an issue with my amp, subwoofer, speakers, and deck..... Kevin and crew fixed up the screwy wiring done at another stereo place.... plus I splurged and got a new deck. Prices are reasonable, install is good, and the staff are freaking awesome!It would only be better if they dealt with compustar alarms instead of viper.If you want a really good experience at a stereo shop.... definitely come here :0)

They do a quick and professional job

I called around noon, let them know I needed some troubleshooting on my sub/amp. I got in around 5:50pm, they had me diagnosed, new amp installed and out the door by 6:40pmI had already tried some easier tests, and was 90% sure it was the amp. I trust their conclusion.They also opened up crutchfield and got really close to their online price for the amp they sold me. Sure I could have saved a few bucks, ordered online and installed myself. But they did it right there and then, and didnt charge an install fee on top of the diagnostic fee.I hope I dont need to go back for this issue, but I will be back for future work.... my GFs car needs BT added to a factory honda radio!

If you are planning to throw your money for nothing go to this place. They act nice till you pay, then next day you go back with the garbage they seal to you then they act like they dont know you.

If you want a pro setup... Clean wiring...dont go Here. Way to unprofrofessional and dont care. Its typical of the manager to automatically say its not there fault without even hearing the reason why you went back there in the ist place.I had woofer amp combo setup for a swap with other one. Did not put connectors on power and ground... Turned gain all the way up. Did not give me extra stuff back in box. They hi ball way too much on price.... It was tight space and one of settings on 4 channel was bumped and I had no left side volume. I was grilled about it and asked Me to take it back to place I got done before. They made me feel like I did not know anything and stupid. After dust settled they recognize there mistake but never said sorry for confusion.Never again...If you want something done right do it your self.

Looking to replace the broken factory CD/Radio player in my Mazda, I walked in at 2pm.He showed me a basic Kenwood with no up-sell pressure.He quoted the total install price (a bargain!).I said yes and paid.He ordered immediate delivery of the installation kit to match the Mazda dashboard contours.He took my keys and drove it to the back.I drove away at 3pm with a new working system.

Until this day, I have not receive a call from this place and the finance company, that finance a $1600, stereo, alarm and auto start system that I purchased and already paid in full. This is over 1 year ago.They just did the alarm an stereo system, I am still waiting for them to install the auto start system. Also, they have wired my alarm system in my c280, but when I press the rear window DeForest button the alarm starts sounding. The installer has taken the power from the rear window de - frost switch.That I call laziness on the installer part for doing a half ass job, and not working a little harder and take power from the battery.The experience I got, I will never recommend this place to no one, even if they will do for free. Lousy customer service, took money and did not finish the job as promised.

I needed just a simple car stereo replacement. Nothing fancy, just a replacement for the 15yo stock POS.I called at 5:10 PM to ask if they could install today if I made it in by 6 PM (they close at 7 PM). The guy on the phone told me that he would reserve me a slot at 6 PM. So at 5:15 PM, I left Gilroy and rushed up there, making it there at almost exactly 6 PM.The salesman asked what I was looking for, so I explained to him my incredibly simple needs. I want something that will allow me to listed to NPR, has Bluetooth, speakerphone, and (most importantly) a working volume knob. He showed me the simpler options, with no up-sell pressure.I purchased the deck, paid for the install cost and wiring harness. He took my keys and drove my vehicle around back, telling me that it would probably be a bit over 45 min for the work. So I sat down and answered a few work emails.Not 20 minutes later, I see my car being driven back to the front. The installer dude asked me for my phone so that he could even pair it for me. After setting that up, he gave me a very brief overview of how to use it.Within 30 minutes of my arrival, I had purchased a deck, had it installed, and was on my way. The service here was incredible. I read all the amazing reviews, but somehow my experience was even better than expected.I highly recommend this place. The prices are very reasonable, but the service is what makes it. It is probably slightly more expensive than if I had gone to Best Buy, but I trust these guys infinitely more than any Geek Squad yahoo that might have worked on my car at the big box store.If you need any kind of car audio or alarm... GO TO AUDIOWERK! You wont be disappointed.

They sold and fixed box open product in my car saying that brand new. I found it next day n when we ask for the replace the product, they tell that that product stock is not available n will come next week. But after that they never call again. these guys are cheating all.

They did the work cheap, but installed the car stereo in a bad way, the face panel still keep falling and the audio wiring was bad, I had to take the guy on a drive before they believe me that it was really bad.
