The good reputation of this place is legitimate: The service, the food, the authenticity, the freshness, and the flavors. To have a better experience and be able to enjoy the food without rushing, I opted to go during the week (it is a very busy place and on weekends the wait can be very, very long). To be honest, the whole menu looks appetizing, you can go as many times as you want and try different things (and lets not talk about the pieces of bread and/or desserts, thats another delicious story). This time I enjoyed:- Ash (noodle, vegetables, bean and lent)- House Special (feta cheese, walnuts, tomato, mint, cucumber, watermelon, and boiled egg).

Quite different from most of the Mediterranean restaurants we’ve been to. What we ordered tasted quite authentic but we found it be pretty bland. The eggplant dip and the bread was good, but the chicken dish was average. Maybe this is how the food is supposed to taste, but we didn’t love it. The fresh fruit juices are great! Doubt we will be back.

My friend and I drove all away from San Francisco, hoping to enjoy an amazing Sunday morning breakfast but were left extremely disappointed as the food was as BAD as the behavior of the management and staff. We ordered kala pacha, but it seemed as if theyd cooked a frozen dish multiple times and added hot water...the broth was flavorless. When I tried to explain to the management that the food did not taste right he confronted me with his rude behavior rather than apologizing. As a small business owner I would never treat a customer this way.Would not recommend this spot.

The quality has deteriorated since Yeganeh opened her modern hipster Tehran style café years back. The once café is now over cluttered with either the shop in the front room or the equipment and projector multipurpose back room. Yeganehs friendly and welcoming smile is replaced with less friendly store manager whose screaming voice can always be heard. The fishtank which back in the days was a nice touch, bringing liveliness to the cafe seems neglected and adds to the gloominess of the ambience. One note for the staff: please add expiration date to the products; I just purchased a home made parsnip jam, only to be greeted by a moldy surprise when opening it (mia culpa for purchasing product without date).

A hidden gem, but entirely in plain sight; hidden, because from the outside, I didn’t expect the place to look this cute (see photos). The two lattes I got (Spanish and rose; with a friend!) were delicious. The Spanish is a condensed milk latte, which gives it a light sweetness (perfect for my tastes), and the rose latte is a perfect blend of rose and coffee, though is completely unsweetened unless you ask for it (unlike other rose lattes I’ve had). Guess that means they’re using actual/homemade rose concentrate, not Torani/Da Vinci/Monin Rose Syrups :) Quiet place, with a lot more space than expected. Will be back for the food!

They also have baked goodies.Family-friendly spot with lots of seating indoors, but this place is packed on the weekends. There are also options for outdoor seating for smaller groups. I’m new to the area and was walking along the street hoping to find a place to wait while getting my car fixed. What serendipity! This place had a beautiful dining-in patio (hard to find during Covid) where I waited most happily. I ordered the veggie omelette and it was delicious! It had just the right combination of egg and veggies. It was light but filling at the same time and a perfect portion! The accompanying bread was served nice and warm and my Americano was just the right temperature. Very reasonable pricing too. Last but not least, lovely and friendly staff! YAY! 😁

So we saw Yeganeh Bakery & Kafe Unik and it looked interesting so we went in. Ambiance was nice and cozy with character. They have interesting food options and I will definitely go back to try more of them. I had the beef sausage omelette and orange mocha. Both were surprisingly good. My fiance had a spinach and feta omellete that was also tasty. They serve special bread with the omelettes and that was marvelous. It was tasty and light and the edges wefe crisp. I would probably even go back even just for the bread. It was that good.

Yeganeh bakery is really good. Its a Persian bakery but they have other European inspired pastries as well. Their Sangak bread is amazing. We come here and buy it in spades when were in San Jose.Other things I love here: sholeh zard (rice pudding), orange latte, lavender latte, zabon (slightly sweet and delicate layered pastry), noon berengi (rice flour cookie). My husband, who is Persian, gets the kallehpawcheh (head/leg of lamb) and he says its one of the best hes ever had. This review is based on customer service I received by the manager. I had an issue with a small order of 5 pieces of baklava, which Ive had many times here before and always really enjoyed. Purchased only hours before a special family dinner, I was disappointed because the baklava was old and soggy, the dough had no crispness. Which is fine, the product can not be perfect every time...When I messaged the manager to share my experience, he did not offer a solution. Consumers deserve better than this, and I do not plan to return.

This place is warm, cozy and unique as the name suggests, I really loved the aquarium, the staff and the owner was very kind and helpful. I guess this place must be known for its omlettes and all. However the hype sorrounding its special persian dish was just false. It wasnt bad but not good either, it was not complete, no way near complete. But the price was Okay. 4.4 star deserved for that. However, I am not giving a 3 star review for the food but for how it was served. The bowl had a long crack which is just unsanitary for a restaurant. And the other dish was broken as well. A bowl that is used for soup and stuff is not supposed to have cracks. Older stuff tend to build up in the cracks and its just aint professional and sanitary. Just throw them away already.
