Over the past 5 years we have come here twice for sewing machine information and three times for vacuum cleaner information. In every case they were straightforward and honest with us - even when they had to give us bad news - which I greatly appreciate. The machines that we bought from them are all still working beautifully, and the repairs that we had done have been of excellent quality. Highly recommended!

Dave fixed my late model vacuum (Kirby) while I waited and was very friendly and courteous. He saved me a ton of time and I really appreciated the awesome customer service! The vacuum runs like a champ. Thank you! I will use again!

Not sure the other reviews went to the same place I did. I came here bc it was super convenient. Dave was condescending, charged me $184 for a tune up and new fan on my Kirby. Returned it to me with the the same high pitched screech I brought it in for. Refused to acknowledge the problem or take responsibility for his work. I gave up.

Great details on vacuum and assessment of other Hoover, dirt devil and Dyson. Suggested replacement for $230 v repair of older one at @ $245. He of course was pushing the sale of a new machine.

The plastic bobbin cover on my sewing machine broke and wont lock in place any more. I came here to get a new one. It was the only one he did not have in stock but he generously offered to special order it for me! Thank you so much! A lot of places wont give you the time of day if the part you need is less than $5. But this customer service experience was 10 stars! Ill be back for sure. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I purchased a Baby Lock sewing machine, a serger, and a new vacuum cleaner from The Sewing Machine and Vacuum Center in San Jose. The staff is very friendly and able to help me find what I was looking for. I am very happy with my purchases and that they offer one-on-one classes to learn about the features of my new sewing machine and serger. I am very happy with my shopping experience and will be back with all my future needs.
