On my list for places to check out for quite some time… I’ve had bad empanadas before so that probably explains holding off… But man they definitely refreshed that previous impression! The overall feel is like a handheld pot pie. Has that same homey feel with wonderfully savory ingredients. Good quality and good service!

They have a great variety. The empanadas are stuffed with filling. Most options are meat based but there is at least one vegetarian option. I was surprised by the gluten free options. They do not have savory gf empanadas. But they have a gf guava-cheese that is exquisite!! I should have ordered more to bring home.

Always a nice experience at Milohas. 1st time back after this pandemic started. Felt safe while ordering to go while inside the store. Staff has always been friendly here. Today there were tons of options of empanadas to choose from. Got some, plus a soup, a fresh passion fruit juice, and a passion fruit mousse.

It has been such a treat to have this business in our neighborhood for the last five years. Weve been slowly working our way through the empanadas, and theyve all been outstanding. Our most recent sample was the mushroom and quinoa; in lesser hands, this could have been dry and bland, but instead, it was moist and rich and full of flavor. Of course, the pastry itself is always delicious, and served as a perfect, crispy complement to the filling. And, if you try only one item there, it HAS to be the guava fingers. The filling has that distinct guava taste and texture, and its offset by a hint of saltiness in the pastry itself. Whether warmed on site or at home -- and you MUST eat them warm -- theyre such a treat. Were so lucky to have Milohas in our community; theyre a small, locally owned business that makes exceptional baked goods, and they truly deserves the communitys support.

I have been here three times so far in the last 3 weeks :-) I think Im officially addicted and Ive even brought some Empanadas To friends to spread the love. Im so glad I found this place. I dont know that much about empanadas or Colombian food, but I love what they make! I have tried a variety of their empanadas and every one of them has been delicious. My personal favorites are the chicken and mushroom and quinoa. Im excited to eventually try things like their desserts, and the bunuelos. I have had a couple different types of their juice and its always fresh and they let you mix the flavors. The times Ive come theyve been busy, which in my mind is a good thing! People wouldnt come if they werent good! :-) Despite being busy, they are efficient about helping people and Ive never waited long. Each time Ive come, a staff member has taken personal responsibility for my order. They are always cheerful, friendly and helpful. I love how they write the baking instructions on the box without me even asking! :-)Thanks for the delicious food!

Never tried Colombian food, so not sure if the food here is authentic, but it was good for lunch. Tried the beef, egg and ham, mushroom and quinoa, Hawaiian, guava finger, sausage finger, pandebono cheese bread. The weakest was definitely the mushroom and quinoa empanada. Sausage fingers are basically croissant hot dogs. The best was the potato that they warmed up for me. The empanadas taste the best when the shop warms it in the oven. It don’t taste as good and the meat tastes dry after a day.For desserts, their caramel cake Miljoja was really delicious. I would also recommend their guava fingers.
