This cute gold-colored ice cream truck is located in the San Pedro Square Market. They offer a selection of ice cream and sorbet. I tried the Maple Pecan Praline. Oh my goodness, it was the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted. It reminded me of a butter pecan, only sweeter and next level. My only regret is not ordering more while I was in San Jose.
TreatBot is home to all things beautifully crafted Ice creams as it offers some of the best in class Ice cream crafts. This place is really iconic, compact and very attractive and is located inside the San Pedro Market Area. They offer many varities of natural Ice creams ranging from plenty of options to choose from.On my visit, I tried Mango fruit Ice cream while my foodie friends had great Ice cream times while trying out other interesting flavours.
Dessert is mandatory when at a food hall add this place looked great. We got a scoop of stroop waffle and a scoop of horchata with toppings of waffle bits, condensed milk, and caramel sauce. I loved the horchata. The stroop waffle pieces were great, but the ice cream base was kind of plain. I dont know that the sauce toppings were worth it because you didnt get much.My biggest complaint was the ordering process. If you wanted to pay with credit card, you had to use the tablet to order, but it was not up to date. All of the flavors were wrong and it didnt have the right prices for toppings. The person working there helped us work around it, but I think they should either update it or just get a credit card reader.Overall, it was a good spot for ice cream, just not a great process to pay!
This ice cream place is just inside one of the entrances of the San Pedro square market. I felt that the price is a little bit higher than other ice cream places/trucks that I have been. I tried out a single scoop of Mexican hot chocolate with marshmallow puff as our topping. The cinnamon flavor in the ice cream was a little too much for my taste. However, Im going to try out the other flavors soon when Im in the area.
Their ice cream is so good! Happened to walk by it and I had to try it since I am an ice cream lover and we dont have one of these where I live. I loved all the flavors I tried but went with mango and Im still thinking about that ice cream! Next time I am in Concord I am definitely going to find this place again!
The ice cream here was wonderful. Its got a nice creamy texture with enough firmness that it doesnt melt right away. Taste was great too, especially with all the toppings. Gotta come back to try the other flavors
Loved this place but it’s apparently closed down at San Pedro square /:
I went to the Treatbot located at San Pedro Square. The ube and the mango sorbet my girlfriend got was good but I’ve had other flavors and thought they were okay. Good to take care of my sweet tooth but I’d prefer other dessert/ice cream spots.
This stand needs new help on a Saturday night. To the female service assistant who turned away a queue of paying customers whove reached the front of the line with a dismissive, Im on break now, come back later diktat is simply unacceptable.Maybe the ice cream is good, maybe my money is good - neither will ever know about the other.
The food was so savory. Ill return family next time. It has a great atmosphere.
The young coconut macapuno flavor had small chunks of coconut in it. We also got a scoop of the 408. It was good, but nothing stellar for the obscene prices charged. Both scoops ended up being $12, which is astronomically high for what you get. The staff also gets a certain percentage charged as an extra fee for scooping ice cream? What?...
The shaved snow ice was so delicious and light. Its a popular Taiwanese ice desert. Being a Taiwanese native, it is always awesome to find places in Chicago that serves Taiwanese cuisine and desert. I would recommend trying the green tea or taro flavor. The place is very clean and service is very friendly. Its not the cheapest as its about $5 for a regular size snow ice with two toppings. Parking in the area is quite difficult but I would definitely go back.
I showed up at 9:45 on Saturday night. The woman behind the counter told me “I’m on break so I can’t serve you. If you want we’ll resume serving at 10:30.” What kind of service is that?
Definitely one of the best places in the area. I will be back with my friends. Menu is like a cafe in Boston I liked.
I am writing this review so that I can share with all those who might glance at this the revelation Treatbot has provided to me.Try olive oil and sea salt on your ice cream. Get honey lavender, ube, jackfruit or some other simple delicious flavor to add it to.Youll be amazed at the texture and flavor it adds.
One of the originals to occupy space in the San Pedro square market place. No longer do you have to wait in line outside for the truck, you can come right into the warmth of the square and grab a nice warm table with your friends and get a huge bowl of 408 ice cream from treatbot! A local gem, I always get dessert from the bot after lunch/dinner here!
Our favorite place to stop for ice cream after biking from home to downtown San Jose along the Guadalupe River Trail with the kiddos. Ice cream is good, but pricey, and it gets busy at times.
Visited Sat afternoon. Looking forward to going back again. The place has a cool feel to it.
Must eat dessert spot during a visit to San Pedro Sq Market.
TREAT BOT FOREVER. These place is great. Simple and fantastic ice cream. Cool location as well.
Its inside San Pedro Square. LOVE the lavender flavor. There are many choices for lactose intolerant people :))
Good ice cream - very creamy and fresh. Would like a few more options to be available. Nice seating in the market.
Awesome flavors, great ice cream. Only a 4-star because theyre always out of something (probably because its so $%*€ good).
The place has some quite unique flavors like Puckerberry Lemonade or Jackfruit. I ordered a sampler of three small scoops and that was a lot of ice cream! Theyre actually normal size scoops, next time Ill get just one scoop of I only want a bite of something sweet. Try their Vietnamese coffee and Jasmine Tea!
Cool little place among a bunch a lot of another neat establishments in San Pedro. It might not have a lot of classic flavors, but I give them 5 stars for being creative!
One of my favorite ice cream places in San Jose. I highly recommend the cookie with ice cream.
Associate was on the phone when i stepped to the counter. I waited for 90 seconds while she had a conversation about what shes doing on Friday. I looked at her, but she never looked back. I left without ordering. A waste of time. Ill come back to get the birthday cake Ice cream when the girl with brown hair and glasses isnt working there.
The staff is always friendly and helpful and the ice cream is always delicious. The portions are big too! My friend couldnt finished her double scoop. I got the horchata for the second time and it is amazing. She got horchata and birthday cake.Theres plenty of places to sit of youre eating there. They also do karaoke on Thursdays I think. Ive never seen it but Ive heard about it and seen the sign.
To be honest, cream is better. But this place being in SPSM makes it seem cool.Only had one guy working there when I went, and his customer service wasnt good. He mumbled when he talked.
Homemade cookies + homemade ice cream = heavenly! Try some local favorites like Eastside horchata (a cinnamon rice drink popular in Mexican culture) or jackfruit! They usually have about 10 different flavors of ice cream and a couple of different house baked cookies to make ice cream sandwiches with. The earlier you get there, the more choices you will have. The ice cream is made in small batches and when its gone, its off the list! Same goes for the cookies. Maybe you eat dessert FIRST tonight! Join in on Thursday nights for Karaoke Club. 7:30 - 9:30pm #Cookies #IceCream #Dessert #SanJose #SanPedroSquareMarket
THUMBS UP:- Friendly service- Good variety of flavors to choose from- Hefty-sized scoopTHUMBS DOWN:- Vietnamese coffee ice cream was barely coffeey :(... and too sweet- Why a silly 5.99% (really?!) additional charge to supplement employees wages?! Up your prices by 6% FFS!- And prompting for $1/$2/$3 tips on a $6 scoop of ice cream? No, just no. You scooped and handed me an ice cream. Didnt wait on me. You arent getting below minimum wage. This tip creep has to stop.
This is the perfect desert after indulging in a burger or other treat in the San Pedro Square. I especially like the 408 (I think thats what it called) ice cream. Hard to go wrong with this place.
I had a waffle cone with jackfruit ice cream and could have died happy then and there. The person behind the counter was very friendly and accommodating, despite being tested inky person back there and dealing with long lines in a warm day. They seem to have added more flavors to their menu as well! My go-to is usually the east-side horchata, but after seeing lychee and jackfruit in the menu, I was sold!
Good ice cream flavors, little pricey, but oay for environment I guess
Its a little bit on the sweet side for my tastes. The ice cream is lightly frozen and melts super fast.
I love their taro ice cream (uba?)!My coworker who is gluten and lactose intolerant loves the idea that he has options (ie: mango + avocado sorbet),Cookie is optional (but should be mandatory! ha!).
The ice cream was good, but they only had six flavors. Kind of a letdown since half the flavors were kinda random...
Its a tiny bit overpriced (which is typical of san pedro square), but the ice cream is great! And the flavor selection is pretty diverse. They have some creative flavors--I had one that was mint with oreos, and I really liked that. Plus its a cool concept to sing karaoke and get a $1 scoop of ice cream in return (thats Thursday nights I believe)
Medicore ice cream, tried a few flavors so far. Quick service, affordable and friendly staff.
Great place gotta try the ube
Wow! Ive never really had fluffy ice cream like this! So good, a little expensive, but r still validate for parking if you spend $6 or more.
Treatbot, can you please bring back Ube ice cream? :) They literally have the BEST ube ice cream Ive ever had. Other amazing flavors of theirs is the 408 and Coconut Pandan.Treatbot has a rotating menu, which is great but... a girl has got to have her ube.
Love these guys. always amazing flavours
Simple gourmet ice cream products. Snickerdoodle cookie, with early grey ice cream, ice cream sandwich was excellent.
Good stuff. Get one of each cookie for your sandwich.
Unique flavors. Ice cream has too much sugar.
$8 for a small, watery chocolate shake (before tip). Lol, wat? This place is a scam.
Had a great time sang kareoke for scoop of ice cream.
The Thai tea ice cream here is fantastic.
Bomb flavors; horchata and 408 all day
We came down here tonight, Tuesday, paid to park in the garage and then walked over and arrived at 9:18 PM and CLOSED!! The posted sign said 9:30 and on Google maps it says 10:00!! Total waist of money for parking and 3 very sad kids!! Poor business practice not to follow your times!!
Never been till a day ago now i want to try something on its menu everyday.
UmmmLot of unique flavorBut too sweet
To expensive I rather have gelato
Nice ice cream
Mango and Jack fruit were good. Didnt care for the other flavors.
Good fast food.
Fantastic ice cream, fun place to stop for a scoop
Ice cream sandwich with 408 ice cream (caramel and oreos) with peanut butter cookies.
Flavors are bomb!
The 408 ice cream is great!
Great spot for local ice cream
Great place for unique desserts
Maple Almond Praline. Yum
The 408 and Horchata are it!
Delicious it is a must try
Very tasty ice cream. I had an ice cream that had mapple and something that looked like nuts. It was delicious, no exaggeration in the candy. The texture of the ice cream was very good. It had pasta ice cream flavor and consistency.
