Stopped in to pick up a birthday bottle that I could not get at Total Wine. The price was a deal, they new exactly what I was looking for and I was able to purchase a card and gift bag as well. First time in, wont be the last! Great store/service!

Don’t believe Google’s description of this place as a “spartan” liquor store. They have an incredible craft beer selection, and the owner David is a gracious host. Their wine selection looks solid, too, but I’ve never really looked closely.

If you only had one liquor store you could go to ... this would be the one! We drive hours to get here, worth the trip every time. If you are a connoisseur of top shelf bourbons and scotch or the Crème de la crème of Pinot Noirs, this is the place to visit... every time we walk in we find bottles we couldn’t find anywhere else. Becoming a regular here will serve you well!

I decided to pay a visit to Royal Liquors because it had one of the highest ratings of stores selling whiskey. I was looking for two whiskies that I had not been able find elsewhere. I perused the shelves for about 15 minutes and found 1 exact match and another by the distiller I was looking for and still of great interest to me. Prices were so-so (not bargains by any means), but the selection more than made up for it. Great find!

Craft beer and whiskey selection are top notch. Dont miss the walk-in fridge in the back for all the latest. They keep the 10% ABV stouts on the shelves at room temp, and all other brews are cold, always.

This place is everything the comments say. Walked in there highly skeptical that they would have any Pappys but they absolutely had two bottles and not just for display... these are for sale! Being from NC, this is like a bigfoot siting. I was so shocked I chickened out of the wifes wrath and just got a bottle of Kentucky Owl (confiscated) instead but I am thinking about driving back over tonight. Hard to walk away from a bottle of Pappys.

Employees are polite, but theyre not very good at directing people to the right product that the customers want. The manager one time directed me away from an inexpensive brew to the twice as expensive brew. He was not concerned with what I wanted to buy but what he wanted me to buy.

This place has been in this location for at least 30 years. Its very well stocked with pretty much any kind of liquor your heart May fancy.

Id give this place zero stars but the app wont allow it. They have several bottles of allocated bourbon on display with no prices. The clerk tells me that they are there for their regular customers to, take a look at first! So as a paying customer I am not allowed to purchase. Seems a little like discrimination to me. A second clerk snickered and laughed as I conversed with the first. Why display them amongst other sellable bottles if they are not for sale? How do you expect to build or increase your client base and make more of them regulars if you are dismissive to everyone else? Perhaps it was just me that you dont care to sell to???
