Nice place to purchase an Indian Motorcycle. Very clean, nice employees.Just watch out for the salesmen. No salesmen has your best interest at heart. They just want to sell you a motorcycle. The trickery the salesmen pull are very sneaky. Just watch yourself. I should have brought someone with me when I purchased my bike. Im not an expert at dealing with salesmen. Dont get me wrong I love Spirit Motorcycle. Ive been coming there for the last 2 years drooling over the Indian bikes...now I own one.BTW...I love my new Indian. It is awesome. The Service department is awesome. They got my 500 mile service ready for me before I rode to Street Vibrations is Reno. I blew away all the Harley riders I rode with.

A small documentation related gaffe aside, my experience buying a motorcycle from here was near perfect. Everyone from sales to accounting to service is friendly and knowledgeable, they even have a sort-of new owner assimilation walk-around going over all their departments and key folks that you might encounter in the future. In all, I would highly recommend Spirit Motorcycles as an ideal dealer for all the amazing brands they carry.

I bought my first motorcycle (a Triumph) at Spirit last month. To be honest, I was preparing myself on how to interact with pushy sales people at the dealership. Instead, I met some very friendly folks who listened and answered all my questions. The entire process was smooth. Dalton is amazing - a big motorcycle riding enthusiast himself, he goes above and beyond for his customers and helps them as much as possible. I also interacted with folks from other departments (Jenny, Ron, Ed, Nate, Bryan, Zane) and had a pleasant experience with each of them. Theyre an excellent team at Spirit and Id definitely recommend them.

Absolute worst place to buy a motorcycle. I expressed my interest on their website to checkout a couple of bikes and received a call back from someone called Tristan. Tristan setup an appointment to test drive the bikes and when I went to the store Tristan never showed up, instead I was bounced off to two other sales guys and the manager. All these guys were trying to push back on giving me a test ride. I explicitly mentioned to Tristan over phone that I wanted to test drive while making an appointment to which he replied saying just wear some pants and come over, well take care of you. I tried telling them that I am a serious buyer and I was trying out a few bikes. I think they thought Im not a serious buyer and tried everything to deny me the test drive.Update: I see that the store manager typically offers to make things right, replies to bad reviews, follows up etc but trust me these guys dont care about the customers and they conveniently discriminate people. Tristan contacted me again and has no memory of how he and his colleagues behaved with me the last time I was at this store. This clearly says how the customers are regularly cheated on and how the management fakes about making things right.

The entire team there were friendly, attentive, inviting and not pushy salespersons. More specifically, my sales agents Nate, Dalton and Zane, those guys rock. I really felt that I was making the purchase and not forced into it like auto salesperson make you feel. These guys made me comfortable in my purchase. The other great thing is the warranty...LIFETIME!! Yes I said LIFETIME warranty!! I purchased a motorcycle from Spirit back in November, and held off on a review until it was time for my first service. I recently had it done, and it went smoother than I was expecting.Ill start back in November. I went in to the shop about an hour before closing, and didnt leave until after they had officially closed. Not once did I feel rushed, pressured, or like I was taking up their time. I had gone in with the expectation of looking, but the whole experience was so great I ended up buying. Overall the process is like buying a car, just a little shorter (thank goodness).I did have to go back a couple days later for some extra paperwork. They said the bank messed up, and I needed to go in. I didnt mind because I had to pick up my helmet, and I ended up getting a better deal anyway! The service aspect was alright. I did have some trouble scheduling it. I filled out the online form asking for someone to contact me for service, but no one ever did. I waited a week or so and called them myself. Had to leave a message, but again no one called me back. Repeated this once more, and finally I just called and instead of asking for service I asked to speak to a person, and they were able to help me out. My ONLY other issue was the cost of the service. My understanding of their lifetime warranty is that the bike cannot be serviced by anyone besides a dealer. If I tried to change the oil or service it myself I would void that warranty. My first service was a little over $400, which I was not expecting. Thankfully though, it wont happen more than every 6-9 months. Besides that shock, the service process was great. All in all I would recommend Spirit (and have) to anyone looking for a good, solid bike. I went to Harley first and was put off almost immediately by their sales people. Spirit was refreshing and my bike was a great fit for our biker fam!

Dealership needs to invest into soundproofing their offices if they want to talk trash about their customers. Its bad for business when potential buyers and clients can hear unfavorably harsh words about them coming from volatile so-called management. Hire better management or seriously think about investing in closed offices far from the ears of your customers. Also, freight and dealer set up are outrageously overpriced. It is literally $1K more than another dealership I went to and purchased a bike from. There are better options than this dealership 100-fold.

Good selection of bikes. Also, they organize rides. However, my experiences have been with the parts/service department, and that has been a mixed bag. My first service was to purchase handlebar risers and safety equipment for the lighting system. The parts department worked hard to find the parts. When it came time to install, they worked hard again to find them, while I waited. I waited 40 minutes, just to drop the bike off. I also had to make several trips to the store. They were installed correctly, but left no clearance for my hands if fully turning the wheel. I ended up being ok with that, but I thought it was weird that they assumed I would be ok with this potential safety issue without asking or warning me before charging me for the parts and labor. My second experience was on a separate occasion to ask for cost to do an oil change. I don’t remember the cost, but remember being shocked, and taking it elsewhere. My third and possibly final experience happened when my bike failed to start while I was downtown. It is the security system, which involves the computer, so I figured I better take it to the dealer. I called ahead, as I always do, before having the tow take the bike there.Unfortunately, Spirit did not answer the phone, although it was before 4pm. I left a voicemail with my phone number and let them know that I was having my disabled bike brought over for repair. They did not call me back in that intervening hour. They called me after the tow truck arrived, and refused to take possession of the bike because I had no service appointment. He said no appointment would be available for at least a month and I could not leave the bike there unless I wanted to pay $100/day for storage. That was wrong IMO on a couple different levels, but the tone he took with me is what made it worse, as if I am some kind of idiot to expect them to help a stranded motorist. I have never had a repair shop treat me with such callous indifference and especially contempt. I believe the guy said his name was “Ray”.FWIW, I called my independent service guy right before 5 pm, and he also has a one month backlog, and recommended having the dealer fix this type of issue, but he offered to take immediate delivery and try to fix it anyway, given the circumstances. It reminded me of why I try to avoid Spirit for service whenever I can.

I arrived at Spirit Motorcycles in San Jose just before 11am, with a bunch of money and a bike to trade in. For two hours I waited with anyone giving me attention. Then when a salesman came to me one used bike had been falsely advised being listed as having six thousand miles. After carefully looking at the bike it had 67000 miles..After fours hours with with little if any attention I picked up and left. I wont do business with these guys again.Mr. Martin, be advised I had sent an email on May 13,2021 and explained my intentions to purchase a new Motoguzzi. As far as my trade in value was concerned we came to an agreement. While waiting the four hours I observed and spoke to two other customers who were frustrated with the long delay while waiting to take their new bikes home.As I had explained to your employees I can do business with anyone and, as I do throughout the world. More than happy to write this review for Spirit Motorcycles and specifically Angelo Magana in sales. I had been looking into getting a Trident 660 for a couple of months now. Residing in Washington, finding one was very difficult. The bike was sold out everywhere and the next available was probably months away. I came across the trident inventory with Spirit Motorcycles online and hopped on a call to figure out the availability, prices, logistics, etc. Angelo was super helpful in answering all my question that helped me setup my flight immediately. My visit at the dealership was very nice and the staff was really friendly. Angelo had already setup the bike for me on the day of my arrival in San Jose and helped me get through all the important details. Smooth overall transaction. I was pleasantly suprised by the inventory at the dealership. Found sufficient inventory for even the bikes that I had heard were unavailable at other dealerships due to pouplarity. I had to get the bike shipped the very same day as my travel day. Since my flight was early, Angelo went above and beyond to co-ordinate with the shipping company driver, figure out the logistics and notify me after the bike was all loaded and shipped. All in all a very nice experience of getting the bike that I wanted with a seamless process. Definitely recommend Spirit Motorcyles as a top dealership and specially Aneglo for helping me with everything. Also, special thanks to Barry, George and Ramon for getting all the paperwork done in time for my flight back.

Well, what can I say. If I could have gone to a closer dealer I would have. But unfortunately, this dealership was the only with the inventory I wanted without an 8 hour drive to So. CA. Prior to our visit I had reached out via their email to make an appointment for a test drive. Twice. I didnt receive a response from either attempts of contact. We drove aprox. 3 hours, arriving at 1130. Greeted, and taken to the desired motorcycle, then abandoned. We walked around for about 15 mins, attempting to locate an associate for a test drive. It was clear the shop was busy, but several associates saw our confusion and chose to continue walking. I had to wait in line for the general shop check out to obtain an employee who could flag down a sales person. Nate provided our test drive, was very helpful and friendly. Since we had previously done extensive research, it wasnt long before we asked to purchase two motorcycles. Nate started the process, and checked on us throughout the next 2.5 hours roughly, as we were unable to leave until 3pm. Nate explained the shop had sold 14 bikes the previous day, and was extremely busy. For the most part, we were willing to be patient. Once the paperwork started rolling the dealer takes you through odd stages of completion. So, Nate sold us the bikes, we then had to talk to a man about additional what nots and add ons, then we had to talk to service, until finally we were able to sign paperwork and leave. My complaints: I would have preferred honest communication. Such as, Hey, this is probably going to take several hours, maybe go grab lunch, and by the time you get back we will be ready. Because of how far away we live, Nate had offered to inquire about delivery. This idea seemed to be passed along from employee to employee, however, no one really spoke to me about it, despite my asking questions such as, will you be delivering, is that confirmed. I got told yes, its all set up for X day. it wasnt until we were ready to leave, we were asked how we were going to pay the delivery fee of $600.00. Oh, but if we dont want to pay that, they will cut it to $300.00. I appreciated the offer, but I was insulted that NO ONE had mentioned a fee until this point. Now the pick up. We had been pretty clear that we would be arriving first thing Tues. morning to retrieve the bikes. We were told they would be ready. My husband arrived, and waited more than an hour, as the bikes were not ready, finally choosing to load them and install the battery himself. So, we paid for a pre check that the shop didnt do because they manage their time, communication, and expectations poorly.I can see that the owner responds to every review. Before/if you respond to this one, I am aware your shop was busy. As a previous shop owner myself, I can understand rush times. Had your employees communicated more clearly, or perhaps provided time expectations such as, Due to the influx of sales, your motorcycle will be available X date I dont think Id be as irritated as I am now. I appreciate and am aware of the things you offered to make our experience better. However, these things were offered after the fact, confirming all the more that your staff dont know how to handle high volumes or stress. Because had you been more prepared, more transparent, or hell, communicated, you probably wouldnt have had to offer those things. Lastly. I witnessed three other customers voicing frustration with the long wait they were forced to accept on Saturday just to obtain a product they had paid for. So, its not just me. I gave you two stars because your staff is extremely friendly and were working with what they had available.

Long review but long story short is make sure you allow plenty of extra time to complete a transaction with these folks and check ALL the bolts on any bike purchased here. First Ride (and start up ... had to leave dealer with a brand new bike that would not start more on that later) on new Himalayan very noticable rattle in front end when revving up and riding... found all 4 10mm head bolts holding the front fender on LOOSE(only had 9 miles at pickup, and I tightened them up at 16 miles so no way they just rattled loose)... you would think for the almost $900 set up and saftey check per bike that they claim almost takes 9 hours to complete that someone could perhaps run a few wrenches over everything? So someone doesnt DIE when the front fender falls into the tire! Luckily I knew a metallic sound from the front end isnt normal and checked it before something happened. Needless to say 0 confidence in the service department. Now the long story, Purchased 2 Royal Enfield Himalayans on Saturday May 1st. Didnt even attempt to squabble on the price they had the colors we wanted in stock. Salesman Nate was very friendly and asked questions to make sure we were filled in on all the details of the bikes he gets 5 stars. We are about 2.5 hours drive away we explained several times and several employees we were bounced around to offered that they could have them both delivered for us, as one needed a battery replacement so wasnt quite ready to leave but its a ten minute operation to put one in they will have someone do it before delivering on the coming Tuesday. They were busy on a Saturday this the soonest they could do it,...Okay sounds great! we sign the paperwork with Martin and get up to leave and he asks for the $600 for delivery we need to pay that before leaving....okay no one mentioned this extra service charge in the entire time from 11am to 3:30pm we were there asking multiple employees about delivery to confirm. (We assumed it was a dealer courtesy when you spend close to $15k in a day there ) ... Martin apologized that noone mentioned this but they cant do it for free how about $300?No thanks we will pick them up Tuesday morning...a little annoying to have that sprung on you right after signing but hey people forget and make mistakes no problem... everything seems simple enough. I head down Tuesday morning with a trailer and communicated with Martin that Morning and to let him know my ETA would be 9am at the dealership...he asked if I could come at 9:45 so they can get the dealership ready?...nope sorry I gotta grab the bikes and go... Bikes are paid for and insured mind you, by 9:30 bikes are not ready to go... one just still needed a battery or jump start or perhaps they could of put charger on it when they knew it was dead Saturday? By 10 am dead bike is still sitting dead by the service bay. I had to leave to make an appointment so had to make the decision to push a brand new bike I couldnt start and leave with it, there was confusion as to if it even had a battery installed between Martin and the service tech so they were nice enough to give me the battery to install myself once I got home... easy enough pop the seat and side panel, a couple minutes battery installed dont know what all the fuss was about ...these were just minor annoyances and Im not normally one to write reviews but after finding the front fender LOOSE something you would expect ordering a Chinese motorcycle online not an Authorized dealer that charged you almost $1800 for 18 hours combined set up and safety check that obviously did not get completed.Vin number of the bike with the loose fender is ME3FSM248MK470548 if there is a way you can check what technician signed off on that one, you should provide him with a 10mm and put at on you safety check list Tighten ALL bolts not just the ones you can see

Spirit specializes in Triumph, Indian, Moto Guzzi, Can-Am and Aprilia make visit a great experience and conversation with your riding buddy.Unfortunately they haven’t turned it into a weekend “ride to” location, there is no food or drink roach van on premise like they often do at European styled motorcycle showrooms.Aside from the motorcycle showroom, they also haven’t built up a large apparel offering but what they do have is high end. Across the road however is Cycle Gear that has a massive apparel offering and so can easily make up for it.In the same neighborhood is the Harley showroom, Lane Splitter Harley Davidson, making this location an interesting motorcycle haunt.THE COMPLAINT....These guys hardly ever pick up the phone (at least at the weekend) and they have NEVER yet returned a voicemail. As always, if you found this review useful please remember to like it. If people like the review (whether you agree or not), it encourages me to write more ;)

Scam Artists at their best. Worst part was, owner was okay with his actions. Everyone else I dealt with knew there was a mistake. Owner admitted to getting a 2020 from a different dealer (which I doubt, they had it on their showroom floor the whole time) even though I signed paperwork for a 2021. Owner said thats impossible we dont get 2021s in until December. Either way if thats the case he should really check his employees pushing inventory knowing they dont have and then trying to pass it off as a new bike. Luckily they messed up on the paperwork. Once I caught that I went through it again and found it was a 2020. Head further south to HollisterMotorsports like I did. Way better service, more honest and upfront and cheaper.

I purchased a 2020 Triumph Thruxton RS on August 11th, 2020. On the same day we ordered a fairing for the bike which was promised to be delivered mid-October (8-weeks) to my house in Morada. That day I placed a $6,000 down payment in order to complete the transaction. The salesperson responsible for contract signing (Martin) said “the bank approved me on the condition that I get the GAP insurance with the bike.”I went home and researched IF forcing a consumer to purchase GAP insurance was legal. My father said that if I put a down payment of $6k on my bike, the GAP insurance does not make sense since the bike is now under MSRP. When I looked into the legality of such, I was informed that the law is that no dealership can position GAP insurance as a stipulation of a financial agreement. This is illegal.Response from the ownerMartin claimed: “we even offered to install the fairing for free upon arrival. As you know it is a $600 labor job that you agreed to get for free for the waiting.”Reality: I called on 11/27/2020@03:33 PM and talked to the salesperson asking if they ever located the fairing and the parts specialist said no. He said that the UPS tracker said it was delivered to the dealership, but they can’t find it and will have to order a replacement which will take another 8-weeks at least. I asked if they are going to offer any compensation such as free installation? He said he cannot approve that since he would have to ask the service manager. I then proceeded to ask if they would then approve a store credit as compensation? He said in the future if I purchase any items in the store that they could work out a deal with me. He never got back to me with an compensation offer nor anything was agreed upon. It is not feasible for me to drive 4-hours for free labor, especially with no trust in your capability to do a good job.Martin claimed: “I am surprised you are raising this issue as we had an agreement. What I told you is that we discounted so much the bike based on your request that in order for us to make the deal (and not losing money) you needed to buy one of those products. So we could be break even at least.”Reality: MSRP is $16,200 and that is the price I requested from the bank (see attached photo). On the sales contract I paid $17,889 before sales tax, fees, GAP, and the Fairing. Under the amount financed it states $16,209.16. The facts are I never requested a discount, nor did I receive one (see attached photos). Your claim is a lie.Martin claimed: “You came a week later and mentioned you did not wanted the GAP coverage. I reminded you of our agreement. and you remembered and you left with the bike.”Reality: I live 2 hours away and have never been back to the dealership since the 1 day I walked in and walked out with my bike that same day. I called the very next day upset at your lies regarding how it was mandatory of me to purchase such insurance. I emailed you a written request on (08/18/2020) which was ignored (see attached photo).Martin claimed: “As few weeks later you called again asking to cancel GAP! you talked with Terrence our finance manager. You either have bad memory or just trying to change the terms of our agreement. In order to make you happy, and asked Terrence to cancel GAP”Reality: On (09/01/2020) I emailed Terrence and requested his help since you were not responding. He was professional and emailed me the form (you never even responded to my requests). No one has a bad memory and luckily I am a professional whom knows the importance of keeping paper documents of all communications. Your lies are not fooling anyone. It is embarrassing that you have the title of “president.”Martin claimed: “No matter how much effort and money we lose to make you happy, you still give us a 1 star review.”Reality: Your sales team sold a bike at full MSRP with an $1000 accessory which was promised in 8-weeksUPDATE: it’s now 03/15/2021 (7-months) and I still do not have the fairing, they cannot even provide me with an ETA.

My wife and I each bought a motorcycle from Spirit Motorcycles and it was a terrific experience. Sebastian helped us with info on the bikes and a demo ride that provided exactly what we needed to make a decision. After we picked out the bikes we met with the owner, Martin, who finalized the financing. The entire staff at Spirit are very courteous, professional, helpful, and enthusiastic about bikes. We will definitely be return customers.-Mike & LynnValley Springs, CA

I went to get some work done on my bike and was greeted warmly, and a VIP. I also wanted to check out upgrading my 2012 for a newer model. I had my old bike serviced (great experience) and upon returning I couldn’t get mind off upgrading to a new bike...I bought a new bike, was treated like family, had the best experience, and was grateful they stayed late to help me get my new bike. Top shelf service there. If you want the best motorcycle shop... go to Spirit Motorcycles. You will not be disappointed... but you will be happy you did.

Buying my second Triumph was a smooth and painless process. Angelo even brought the paperwork to me at work so I could get everything signed and not delay picking up my new Street Triple RS. I seriously could not be happier or more satisfied with my experience at Spirit Motorcycles and will definitely be buying my future motorcycles here.

Martin helped me out when I was trying to trade in my bike and buy a new triumph. He was patient w me picking a new one and even helped me out to refinance it the next day for a cheaper interest rate. He helped me out with buying insurance for it after the fact. In general he was a very hospitable and knowledgeable manager at Spirit Motorcycles.JD helped me out to change out my exhaust because of manufacturer errors and was in general very helpful to work around my schedule. He was prompt with getting back to me and having my bike up and running. Highly recommend their shop.

Had a great buying experience with Reed and got my dream bike, the Triumph Street Triple RS! He was very handy to give me a full walk-around and feature explanation of the bike as well as a test ride of the R model before purchase! If you need insurance he can definitely hook you up.Rob who helped me with the loan is a great help in checking out many options around even though it does take some time(if youre looking to get a new bike, submit your finance app online or in store a day or two in advance at least). He found a great rate and down payment that suited my needs which is awesome!Sebastian is the parts guy who I worked with for the most part and really knows his stuff in comparability and really making things work. Him and the guys in the shop were even able to find a way to make the denali soundbomb(which I bought separately) work with the bike even though it may take some time for them to custom make a bracket and proper wiring that somehow didnt come with the horn, for me!Overall experience(tldr;)Great people, great products, check them out and ask for Reed!

PROS:This was my first motorcycle buying experience in USA. I was looking for a standard powerful bike, which can do well on a long cruise and decent on curves too. I went to a few dealerships, but there was no match to these guys. Just because of the experience I ended up buying a bike higher than my budget. Bonneville T120 2018.Charlie made sure that I try all the bikes that I wanted to test drive. (Unlike those Japanese dealers, which wont let you test ride). There was no pressure (Unlike the harley people across the street, who seemed very pushy and sometimes demeaning too).Charlie was very patient throughout the whole process. He responded to all my queries, in person, over phone, over text and he was always helpful ! Thankyou ! Other staff members were very helpful too. What a guy Steve Is ! He is so cheerful. Just before taking my bike off dealership, Steve and Charlie made sure that bike was well polished, all the blue marks are off; very nice experience.Last but not the least, guy at the helmet/gear shop, Sebastian ! Such a wonderful guy. He guided me through all the gear, what I should buy, how to save on some gear, etc. He let me try many helmets, jackets; very patient and genuine staff I must say.CONS:=====Only con is probably the very high freight and setup fees; both combined were nearly $1600 which is probably highest among all the dealerships I visited. However, they did give me some discount on MSRP, which probably reduced some extra charges.I also missed interacting with the manager. From my day 1 at dealership to taking bike off the dealership, I only interacted with sales people. I would have expected the manager to come out and say hi or congrats, just the basic courtesy; little things.=====Overall, Great Experience. Five stars just for Charlie and other staff members. Probably the best motorcycling experience in the bay area !
