I have been here many times and travel all the way from San Diego for them to take care of my vehicle. They have changed my oil, brakes, set me up with my RV battery and many more things. I know they are honest and very helpful. My brother is a mechanic and he does a lot of my tough jobs on my Truck. They found a problem and gave me a quote on it. I took it to my brother who agreed with what they found and said the price was right on. Being a woman and trying to find a good mechanic is hard. They have always gone above and beyond. I have dealt with Chris on most occasions. He is very to the point and precise. He has worked with me to get me in and out of the shop as he knows the distance I travel. This is a busy shop. There are always people in and out of there and most of them are regulars. The owner is very fair and a good guy. I always go back. :)

Ive been a customer of West Coast Tire & Service since 2005 when I purchased a new Yukon XL and then purchased a Lifetime Oil Change deal from them. I dont think they still offer the lifetime oil change but I still have the same car and theyve taken extremely good care of it. Ive never had to take my car to the dealer for something they couldnt fix, and theyve always given me great service at the best price Ive found, including tires. I now have close to 200,000 miles on my car - every one of those miles backed by Thong and his crews excellent service!

I was stuck on the freeway for 2 and a half hours with a flat. 3 tow trucks came and one policeman later and noone could fix it so they towed me to west coast tire. I had to wait for them to open since I was there at 7 and they opened at 7:30 but once they did they helped me immediately and was out in about 10 minutes. I was extremely grateful since I had not slept yet since I was driving from San Diego to Pasadena and had to get to my mom who has dementia and cant be by herself for long periods of time. If I have problems in the future will definitely come here. They are very fair, friendly and courteous.

First time customer in need of a tire repair. Dropped my car off @ 7:30 and it was ready by 10:30. The man at the desk was courteous and friendly. I will gladly return!

My wife went to the dealership and they gave her a $3,700 list of repairs that were important, one item was the brakes which they said were a 2 and needed to be done ASAP.I brought my car to West Coast, I left them the list from the dealership. They had to keep it overnight but bottom line was the brakes had 50 percent left and I was informed that only about half of the repairs really needed to be done and I was out of there for $1,000. All I can say is West Coast has been honest and fair to us and I would highly recommend them.

Great service at the right price. Always willing to accommodate and talk you through whats going on with your car.Only had one issue with a recurring problem they couldnt seem to fix, so I had to take it elsewhere. Otherwise theyre very trustworthy.

I have had nothing but fantastic experiences with this business. The owner, Tong, is an amazing human being and all around class act. I trust him completely with any car troubles I would run into. The work they do is A1 and I would recommend these mechanics to anyone who asks.

Had a nail in the tire and it was fixed quickly and at a reasonable price. The waiting room is extremely dated, but my tire looks good.

This place is assume. My Granddaughter was play mechanic and replaced a fuse. The job blew out the fuses for her brake lights and interior lights. We took the car into West Coast Tire & Service with the story and expecting a real problem.They were extremely busy however replaced the fuse within 30 minutes and said have a nice day.Could not have asked for better service and caring management anywhere.Thank you West Coast Tire & Service for the best service and kindness.

Fast, friendly and honest - and they do great work!

These guys are awesome. Everyone there is friendly, and they charged me what they said they would and fixed my car. I botched a timing chain replacement and had to go to a shop, which I normally try to avoid, to fix my mistake. The owner explained what I did wrong and was a cool guy. An experience I was expecting to regret (because of the cost of my mistake) was enjoyable. Bring your car here!

I had been to this place once before to get a flat fixed. They charged me $20 which was fair and I was impressed by how friendly everyone was so I came back when I had a problem with a noise in the front end.I am not a gearhead by any means but I suspected it was the brakes making the noise. They took a look at it and said my front brakes were ok but the back brakes needed some work. Had them do the work and picked up the car. It was still making the same noise and it was getting worse.Brought the car back here and, after waiting a while, Thong, the owner, told me that both front wheel bearings were bad and would need to be replaced. It would normally cost $1000 but he could do it for $800.I looked up wheel bearings on google and found that they normally have a life of 100,000 to 150,000 miles. My car has 55,000 miles on it. Thought something weird was going on.I took my car to a place in San Clemente recommended by my daughter.They said my front brakes were worn down metal to metal and thats what was maiking the noise. They fixed the brakes for $400 and told me there was nothing at all wrong with the wheel bearings, The car runs great, no front end noise and the brakes work fine.Did West Coast Tire set me up for a rip off with a BS story about wheel bearings, or do they just do sloppy work and take a wild ass guess at what the problem is? Obviously they did not look at my front brakes or they would have seen the mess they were in.Will not be coming back here.

Great service. Bought a scion off my friend who had it serviced/tranny rebuilt here. 1st day driving it my transmission casing blew and liquid was pouring out. Took it to Aamco down the street where they quoted me 1500 with discount. Said no way, drove it up to westcoast tire and service. Thong was extremely friendly and helpful. The warranty on my broken tranny was expired, but he happily agreed to replace it free of labor charge. Never have had a mechanic go to this length to keep a customer happy. Bring all your cars here.

Was going to bring my car in but the guy who answered the phone was rude. He acted as if me trying to schedule a brake job was a nuisance. He hung up on me without comment. Dont bring your car here. Remember the front door office is the same as the back door office.
