This stop gave me reminders of my earlier years as a young boy. My mom and older sister use to make these at home and they were a treat back then. So this was just another reminder of how much I enjoyed these Limbers as a kid. So once I saw this on Google maps, it was a no brainer to try them. I mean who doesnt enjoy a cold treat on a hot day of touring the streets of Old San Juan. Do give them a try, I recommend them.
Just walk up to the window with the bars on it and say “Hola”. You’ll be in for some great tasting limbers. A must visit while you’re in Old San Juan.
Simply delicious and refreshing. Limbers are a traditional frozen dessert from Puerto Rico. I got the coconut flavor and it’s very well prepared. The thing that I like the most is that even though it’s frozen it’s not solid so it’s easier to eat with your teeth. This is a local shop from a very humble family. The owner is also an artist, ask for the drawings and paints, you won’t regret getting one back to your home country.
Refreshing delight. Limbers are a puerto rican classic, must stop.
Cant beat this place for a cold, non-alcoholic beverage, to cool you off. Lots of flavors to choose from. Very cheap, yet refreshing. Place your order at a walk up window. The man working there is very nice.
Delicious and clean
Loved it. Just .75 cents and he has so many flavors. A tiny place but a place to visit. I was told the owner lives inside the shop and he has been doing this for past 50 years. Awesome.
Awesome, she sells these along with waters chips and other snacks.. great prices. Walking inside theres a sign with the flavors at the inside window that you can order at. Perfect for a hot day in PR
Brings me back to the old days buying limbers out of the front windows of houses. love this place very authentic and traditional. Coconut limbers are the best can’t wait to go back!!!
Sold out of a house. Reasonable price. Tasty. Authentic. Lady may or may not be in.
I first bought one here over 50 years ago.Great, authentic and reminds one of simpler, lessless complicated times.PS They are delicious!
Eddies limbers are so refreshing! They are these cups of frozen juice kind of like snow cones. Highly recommended on a hot summer day, or anytime! If you like snow cones, you would like these. Be sure to try the soursop one - it is especially good!
Great stop for an iced snack.
AMAZING! We had the coconut and guava coconut and they were delicious. A must try if in Old San Juan. An authentic treat you cannot pass by!
Nice place to stop before you go to El Morro fort.
Hidden Gem, window concession. We stayed in the apartment above Limbers. Great place for a cold drink after walking around in the heat.
We got the lemon limber. Excellent.
I had the coco. Very good and sweet!
Shout out “Sra Limbers” and she will come to her kitchen window, where she sells juices and snow balls. It’s hard to find something more San Juan. Don’t miss the coconut snow ball, which you can eat in the park across the street with its views of the inlet and governors mansion.
Really nice little shop with homemade frozen treats in a variety of flavors, drinks, and snacks
I remember as a child going to buy limbers every time I visited Old San Juan with my father.Today they continue with their limbers and unbeatable flavor. I took my girl to try them and I told her about the lady who used to prepare them. Today his son is the one who prepares and sells them with the help of a lady. It is an obligatory stop. Blessings always 🙏
Traditional, humble and inexpensive. Part of the walk through Old San Juan. Important to support this little little merchant. Part of the route, you cool off and catch shade sitting on the wall or the little square. Support the things that make us different.
As always the best limbers, this is something of tradition to walk through old San Juan and eat a delicious lemon limber 😁
They have no sugar. They contain a lot of sugar. Not healthy.
A lot of sugar. Beware of excesses. Very rich. To appease the heat.
Typical ice cream but no stick. In glass. Very refreshing and cheap
It is nice. Good view. Variety of flavors.
I dont know exactly, how many years this limber business has been in San Juan, I think its at least 40 years. It seems to me that they have something good, because people, telling me, do not stop going to the window to acquire such a refreshing product .... They are very good!
The best!
