Awesome customer service!! We were having a hard time finding the correct sized ball hitch for our travel trailer. Once we bought it here and took it home we realized we didnt have a big enough socket to get it tight. Came to Napa to get a huge socket and breaker bar (with help from Evan). Went to the parking lot and realized that the design of my system wouldnt allow the socket to fit around the nut, so I went back inside and Evan did his best to help me. He then recruited Ron for further assistance and we were able to get everything squared away right in the parking lot! Truly above-and-beyond service! Thank you, Evan and Ron!

The employees are extremely friendly and extremely helpful when I called in on the phone asking if they have the part in stock and oil filter the guy went out of his way to make sure even suggested how to make it so it was on the back counter when I got there to pick it up and make it very easy so I love going to the store not only because they actually have parts that are correct work and I dont have to go back to get different parts because theyre always right the very first time and very easy parking here you can park on the street or in their lotI am very happy with the store

Customer service is everything and NAPA in SLO is the best. Stopped in for a battery and they not only sorted out the right one for me, they installed it one the spot. Extremely friendly and competent staff. And they stand behind their parts!

Hands down WORST auto parts experience Ive ever had, rude workers and inexperienced staff, bought a battery a while back, had nothing but problems with it and after numerous warranty returns, replacements, and tests from AAA on there batteries that found they were defective they refused to refund my purchase, never going back, save your time and money, shop elsewhere like the orielys up the street otherwise youll be stuck wasting time because of NAPAs inability to produce a quality product.

Excellent Napa Auto parts supply at this location. Well stocked and one of the best Napa parts house on the Central coast. Ron is a great counterman at this San Luis Obispo Auto parts store, easily accessed in downtown SLO.

Napa Auto Parts Ron did everything I needed, including better contoured windshield wipers, new struts, and a battery that fits properly.Auto Zones battery was not a good fit.Now I need more help for my car such as all season Michelin tires, maybe new wheels too.

So always had a good repor with them, had wholesale access, the works. But over the last couple years this place seems to be going down hill. Cant ensure they can mix paint right, tell ya one thing then you have to pay more cause of excuses. I cant wait for a new paint/body supplies place.

We were traveling back to LA from Monterrey and our 2018 vw beetle sounded an alarm that our coolant was low. We immediately pulled over and called AAA and were told they don’t take care of roadside service like that. I called the Napa store and even though it was 2 minutes before closing the kind man said he would be happy to help if we came over. He was so kind to us and we were able to get back on the road to LA! That is customer service! Thank you so much for helping two almost stranded ladies!!! For any auto needs we have in the future NAPA will be our go to store!

The team at this NAPA are fantastic! They know their stuff! If its not in stock theyll search for it both inside and outside of the NAPA network, bring in parts same or next day if its at other regional stores or main California warehouse. They call you with updates and do follow up calls too! very competitive prices! Quailty parts, supplies, and tools, large selection of automotive and heavy duty batteries. Plus they know how to look up parts in their books at the counter (old school) if its not readily on the computer at each persons work space. Theyre also not afraid to ask each other questions rather than tell the customer sorry, I cant help you with that... Open 7 days a week and great short access on and off 101 N or S. Update: Went back and replaced the battery for a new one, customer service was very helpful. Highly recommend this place now .The guy I dealt with at the front was very rude to me and sold me the wrong battery for and I wasnt even slightly close to the right battery.

The guy there that came over to help me pick out an oil told me there was no such thing as full synthetic high mileage oil. Then proceeded to tell me I didnt need high mileage oil unless my car was over 200,000 miles. My car is at 113,000 miles, so I got my Lucas oil and went to Auto zone down the street where they had full synthetic high mileage oil.

Long wait to pay. Credit card system outdated.

This NAPA Auto Parts store has been here for years and has all the auto parts you would expect a Napa Auto Parts store to have.I recently went on a holiday and they had everything that I wanted, and the counter help was a nice guy.The parking lot is free, has accessible parking, and there is an accessible entrance with a short ramp.If youre looking for a Napa Auto Parts store this is a good one.

Pretty good option. They sometimes have stuff not found at other auto part stores. Prices are typically slightly more than other places but good service everytime Ive gone.

With the exception of one person who shall remain nameless (shes been there forever so repeat customers will know who Im talking about) this place is great. One of the friendliest and most knowledgeable parts stores Ive had the pleasure of doing business with. They usually have what I need for my 27 year old pickup, and if not they get it fast. Ive always trusted the NAPA brand parts over autozone, OReilly, etc and the prices are comparable. This is the first parts place I call when I need something and Im in the area (I grew up in SLO but moved away for college).

Napa Auto Parts in San Luis Obispo is a great place to get parts. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I rebuilt my 56 Ford truck from the ground up in the Cuesta College auto body program using their air breathing system paint booth. After I finished the paint, I put flames on and 5 coats of clear. I needed to touch up the flames so I needed two more coats of clear on the fenders hood and cab. I took it to Paint Saint Auto body shop in San Luis Obispo for the final 2 coats. What a mistake! There were thick runs all over and 10 dirt spots under the clear from their bad paint job. They refused to correct it. I sanded out the runs and dirt spots and took the truck to Mesa Auto Body in Arroyo Grande and they did a perfect job of putting on 2 coats of clear. Don’t use Saint Paint! Dr. Ed J Muraski
