Purchased a new main sail and a boat cover from SLO Sail and Canvas in October 2020 for my 1992 Hobie One/Holder 12 and it arrived earlier than promised. Excellent quality on both. Tested the new sail yesterday and the fit is perfect and seems like there are many improvements in little details over the original Hobie sail. The included tube sail bag that also holds my mast sections and the boom is a great bonus. I am very happy!

I bought a polyester cover for my Holder 14 back in 2013, figuring Id get a couple of years out of it at best. Seven years later and the cover still looks and fits great--and this is on a boat that is stored outside most of the time. I highly recommend SLO Sail and Canvas.

My wife got me a sail last Christmas (2016) for my Sunfish and I bought a Top Gun sail bag to protect it. Well, theres a bolt that sticks up in the old style rudder assembly that wore a hole through the bag in no time. I sent the sail bag back and SLO repaired it expertly with no questions asked. They are an excellent company!

Weve been dealing with Andrew, Karl and Maren since 2012(?). They have not only been supportive of the resurgence of the Force5 class, but they have been spot on delivering the best covers for our cover your tool deck and hull cover program. Their materials are top notch, their craftsmanship is flawless and their delivery time is fast. No, Im not some shill, just a very happy, wholesale customer.

I have bought a trampoline and a sail for my Hobie Wave. Both are excellent quality, and they were outstanding to work with. They had quite a few orders ahead of me, and I was trying to get the sail in time for some company. They did a great job communicating with me throughout the ordering and production process, and shipped the sail a couple days earlier than I expected. Great guys to work with, and outstanding products.

The quality of an organization does not necessarily surface when things are going smoothly. How an organization handles a problem is the true measure of their commitment to customers and quality.I had an issue with the placement of the jib block grommets on my Hobie 14 Turbo trampoline. Slo Sail & Canvas immediately took a proactive approac, we confirmed the correct dimensions and a replacement Tramp was on its way with no charge to me.This is an excellent organization.

I purchased the Top Gun model top and bottom covers 2 1/2 years ago for my Laser. These covers fit perfectly and are amazingly durable despite being in a salt water environment and in the weather continuously. I would definitely purchase covers again from SLO Sail and Canvas. In fact, I just did for another boat!

I ordered a Royal Blue Polyester Tanzer 16 Sailboat Deck Cover. I live in North Carolina. They made the canvas and shipped it out in reasonable time. The cover is very nicely constructed, rugged, and fits the boat perfectly. Great job!

Great service!!! I have been working with Karl, Andrew and the crew at slo sails and canvas since 2012. I have had them make cushions, sheet bags and a stack pack mainsail cover. They have expertly repaired my mainsail, Genoa and Dodger. All well made with prompt service.

I just purchased and received a top gun canvas boat cover for my Sunfish. Fits perfectly with the elastic band around the edge of the cover and I really like the strong tie down loops if you want the cover to be more secure for wind or trailering.

Blown away!First I want to say that there must be more to the story than what Mr. Scott (unhappy customer) is revealing. I am a perfectionist and quite frankly, Im not the easiest guy to please. So, if I write a review that is as positive as the following, you can surmise that the company- in this case, SLO Sail and Canvas, is more than just a cut above the rest.I live in MN and had been searching sail lofts all over the continent for quite some time but did not have much luck in finding one that could offer: A) A quality product. B) Personnel that listened and followed through on directions and C) A loft that carried a large variety of sail colors. SLO SAIL AND CANVAS nailed it on every level. They were very attentive and thorough with every aspect of the construction phase. They e-mailed me regularly to keep me in the loop on progress as well as to confirm various items, ask my preferences (on things that I hadnt even thought of), address any and all questions I had- and they did it all with a genuine level of care and enthusiasm. The cherry on top was that they did all this work, hands on, for a cost that was very competitive to the mass production, cookie cutter sweat shops in the Pacific Rim.Im thrilled to have found a true American sail maker (there are only a hand full of US lofts left that dont send their work overseas) where I can talk to the people actually doing the construction.Andrew, Tom, Karl and the rest of the crew at SLO SAIL AND CANVAS are truly amazing! Thanks so very much for a really great buying experience! Keep up the great work!Hal in MN

I store my Hobie 16 on the beach at Mission Bay. Discovered a hole in my year-old trampoline. Called around for info on repairs. Found SLO online, called, and a week later the materials I needed arrived in the mail, no charge, postage paid. Im sailing again, and will be calling SLO when my 34 year old sails disintegrate. SLO is a first-rate outfit!

Called to try to set up a repair for a broken zipper on my pop-up camper, and instead Carl talked me through how to fix it myself, right there on the phone! Incredibly helpful and didnt charge a dime. Could have put me through the trouble and expense of bringing it down there to make a buck but instead helped out for free. Thanks Carl!
