Oh my goodness this was an unexpected diamond we found! Please go give this place a try it is DELICIOUS! We got the breakfast burrito and it was enough for two but if I could eat it all I would have. Great service, wonderful little shop attached. We had family flying out and thank goodness the rest the airport is closed on Mondays because we found the Farmhouse Corner! Will definitely be back again and again.
High price point for its offerings, regardless, the staff is very kind and hustles. Menu is small (with good reason) bc everything is made to perfection. Breakfast sandwich and pastries A+
This place is a little confusing. The menu is interesting and food was tasty. Most of the menu was at the high end price that could be tolerated. The food was plated almost like it was fine dining, which justified the price to some extent but the portions were a bit small and the food style did not fit the atmosphere. The $1 charged for a splash of non-dairy milk (ordered an ice coffee) was outrageous. I even witnessed the exhange where the women helping at the cash register questioned this to the manager “do we charge $1 even for a splash?” Which he promptly confirmed yes. $60 for breakfast for 2 seems steep. The breakfast fried rice was good, but not amazing. Service was odd at best, everyone who we interacted with seemed new and were not friendly, even when a casual joke was served on a platter.
Had a not so great latte, and a very bland, very disappointing breakfast burrito consisting of boiled unseasoned potatoes, barely cooked unseasoned zucchini, and grainy poorly cooked eggs. The sausage was almost nonexistent and broken into miniscule pieces almost indistinguishable from the eggs. There was no cheese.Took this to go. The lack of technique and seasoning didnt inspire me to return and bring this to someone’s attention. The ingredients may justify the price but their preparation doesnt.
Great place! The fried rice was awesome! And super nice and helpful staff.
The food was good. Pretty pricey. Could definitely have enjoyed my brunch more without the live music.
Went for lunch today, busy but quick, I had the Rock Cod sandwich, with French fries and my wife had a grilled avacado side dish, both very fresh and well done. The market had in house made ice cream and a unique selection of gourmet spices, cheeses and other items. The decor was very nice and light, some outside seating was available.
Epitomizes SLO lifestyle. Great new place in town!Had driven by a few times and decided to check it out one day. Girlfriend and I each had a burger for lunch. High quality food and great service. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Good food and a great atmosphere to enjoy it. Give yourself some extra time to browse the market too. Especially if you have visitors in town. Highly recommended and will be visiting again soon!
I was disappointed by the food at breakfast after seeing the high ratings. The place is very nice and they have live music sometimes on the weekend.
This place clearly focuses more on aesthetics than the actual quality of the (overpriced) food.
Food is wonderful and fresh. The breakfast burrito is hardy and flavorful. It’s also a lot of food-share!Vibe is great.
Great spot for a quick bite. Prices are a little high but the menu is great and the indoor and outdoor seating is good.
I flew in from Los Angeles for a morning meeting in SLO. I enjoyed a great breakfast at Farmhouse Corner Market. The food was exceptional and well prepared. The staff was very friendly and improved the start of my day. It’s a great location, right across the street from the SLO airport. If you’re in town for business this is the place to grab a fresh meal and pick up snacks for your journey in their convenient corner store. I’m looking forward to returning and trying their lunch and dinner menu items.
Great place to come if you are waiting to pick up someone from airport. Or you want a quick lunch. Or when you get off work for drinks with friends. They have a limited selection of beer so easy to make a selection. Nicely located across from airport and upcoming commercial area. Place has a shop where you can get local cheese and deli products. There are other items for household as well. Place has good atmosphere, friendly staff. The decor is pretty cool and simplistic.
We love this place! It’s so cheery and bright and everything is delicious! Coffee is great, pastries are delectable and their small breakfast/lunch menu has me coming back again and again to try them all! And the staff is very friendly. We got the burger and the ahi bowl this time. We ate it so fast that I forgot to take pictures. This was our first Saturday experience and it was extra fun with the live band playing some Willie Nelson classics. Definitely a favorite spot in SLO! And I love the location on the outskirts of town.
We were waiting to be called back into the Drs office and needed something to eat and coffee/tea. Googled coffee nearby and got this location. What a great choice. The biscuits & crumble were excellent and the outdoor seating was perfect. Owner & staff were awesome. Highly recommend & will definitely go back!!
I have visited the place a few times and although the food was good it was a little odd in the experience. The waitress or food server that brings your food nearly scolded me when I went to get my own silverware but pointed out the beverage machine when I asked if I could get the soda I ordered. Prices are very high for breakfast and it just seemed like a lot off”unused “ space. Lots of emptiness for the most past. Loved the menus in the mailbox and the decor. The big truck and rotary phones are cute. I just couldn’t figure out their purpose. Lots of eclectic things in one place left me kinda confused. I’d go back for ice cream or coffee but sent about 60 for breakfast for two and the food, while tasty, was a very small portion and I left hungry. I don’t think I would have been as disappointed if I didn’t have to hear one of the cooks recite his entire resume to some guests who were blatantly trying to have a conversation privately at the bar. There’s a certain arrogance with slot of cooks or chefs, as they call themselves. But this guy was really full of himself and that just started it all off with a bad taste on my mouth.
Unique and tasty food.
We went there today with family. Beautiful place. Kids friendly. And amazing amazing customer service. Barbara at Farmer house market went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. My 2 years old really enjoyed it there. Highly recommended. Food prices are a bit in higher range but you get what you pay for. We ordered Farm salad, house bread and pasta. Pasta was the only thing that I would give 3/5 as I like my pasta a bit over cooked but other than that very fresh and new taste for palate. Definitely going back.
Great food & coffee! Would definitely eat there again. Very cute decor with attached store.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent COVID-19 safety. Excellent experience. I cant wait to come back. Thanks guys!!
Best burger Ive ever had. The meat was buttery and the taste blended together so well.Highly recommend.
The decor is very nice. Great hipster environment. Went to get an easy lunch only to be hit with hefty price for a mixed green salad... $17 and some change for a TINY mixed green salad with NO meat. That is absurd!! I would love to have a sit down with management for clarity on how that even adds up
Best ice-cream and farm fresh food
Really really great food paired with SLO vibe makes this a Central Coast go-to every time I’m in the area.
Family and I love everything Farmhouse has to offer. Great staff and owners, beautiful restaurant, and cool store in the back. It’s my go to coffee spot. Great food, especially dinner. Best plant based burger in town. Shoutout to April for making my kid feel special every time.
A little gem of a place nestled in the up and coming airport district. The market carries legitimate market items, flour, pastas, beverages, which begs the question are they a little early to the party? Not many people live out there (yet) so I hope the best for the place. Good ice cream and a fun place to sit. The restaurant has a curated selection of eats, a little pricey but delicious. Service was great, and I can see parking being an issue at some point. Worth the drive out to see for yourself.
Chef Wills sliders are the best Ive ever had - every hamburger since has paled in comparison. His food is fun, creative, and always delicious. I have yet to try something Farmhouse-made that I havent liked. The staff are always super nice and the service top-notch. I recommend Farmhouse Corner Market for any event or social function that needs catering.Looking forward to the restaurant opening.
This restaurant/market is gorgeous!! Beautiful yet casual and comfortable place to dine. The food is wonderful with local sustainable organic ingredients that taste amazing. Great views of the SLO skyline too.
Friendly and helpful staff. Rotating monthly menu. Great selection of beer and wine. Beautifully designed interior. Open space is very nice. Ice cream and general store in the back. Super fun spot, come check them out you wont be disappointed. Dinner menu is moderate to pricy so be aware, but youre paying for great quality!
Good food.
Farmhouse Market was a pleasurable experience. Chef Will cares so much about the food and it is portrayed in the dishes he serves! If I was asked to describe the food with one word it would be WOW. Gordon Ramsay would be proud of this food! Combine the flavor of the food with the friendly staff and you have the perfect product. I will definitely be a lifelong customer.
Farmhouse Corner Market has an amazing future in store. I had the privilege of attending a private event where Chef Will and his team made a multi-course meal. The highlight for me was the risotto, which was fantastic and one of the best I have ever had. Their team was so accommodating and attentive. I highly recommend them!
Unique, thoughtful, local, vibrant and friendly people working the place. Food was tasty and my sons toes are very long. Great tile floor as you can see.
Tasty drinks and dishes, but on the pricey side
Overpriced and meh. I ordered the gluten free donuts and they were beautiful, however even my girls did not like them. I ordered my 3 and 6 year old hot chocolate, which they did not care for either. I had a mocha, and it was ok. Nothing to write home about.I ordered a cheddar jalapeno scone, and that was yummy! Sitting outside with the kids was fun as well, we got to see a few airplanes land. Decor inside is very cute. For the above items it was around 25, which I found rather pricey.
I love everything about Farmhouse... Chef Will and his awesome crew roll up in a classic pick-up truck with an airstream in tow, and roll out the most savory and unique food options. I have been to several events catered by Farmhouse and each meal has been exceptional. I especially love their ahi poke bowls, sliders, whisky tango hot dogs, and veggie dogs!! The food is a perfect combination of fresh and creative with a colorful flavor palette that results in all around goodness! Presentation is everything with this crew and they have exceeded the standard in every way!!
The food is amazing and the chef is incredibly creative. I attended an event catered by Farmhouse and everything they served was incredible. I was blown away by the mouth watering sliders, the gourmet hot dogs and the creative appetizers. The combinations and sauces are unique and memorable. Chef Will and his group are amazing people with amazing food.
Lovely space, great local food, and a very sweet staff. My only complaint is the price point, bit you get what you pay for.
Farmhouse is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Everything I have tried has been delicious. Be sure to get a glass of Unicorn Tears!
Over priced for what u get, food is ok. Go here for the organic market and homeade ice cream, cinnamon is delicious.
80 percent of the time its awesome, 20 percent its just ok.
Farmhouse Corner Market is the best! I am super picky when it comes to food but they have plenty of options, all of which are fantastic. Chef Will is super creative and it shows with each dish. The catering is great but I cant wait for the restaurant to open!
The food was very good, the prices are high. Sourdough side (2 slices burned) with butter, and a jam I didnt ask for $6. Ice Tea $3. Service....soso. First time we visited...not really impressed.
Great place with really fresh food. Prices steep but you getting great quality. Definitely recommend.
Excellent service, coffee and food! We will visit this place often.
The food is amazing. I have eaten Farmhouse meals on at least 4 occasions. They always impress. The service, flavors and freshness are next to none! I highly recommend Farmhouse and Farmhouse catering!!
I have had the pleasure of attending a few events where Farmhouse has catered. Their food does not disappoint. Chef Will’s dishes have the freshest ingredients and are packed with so much flavor. My personal favorites are the sliders, lamb ragu, and his poke bowl. I can’t wait to try some more of his dishes. Highly recommend Farmhouse!
Ive attended a couple events catered by Farmhouse and have loved all their food. It is all very creative and delicious. It is one of those restaurants that you definitely want to eat everything they make even if youre too full to eat another bite! So good. I look forward to their restaurant opening under the HPI Office so I can eat there too!
SLO needed a place like this! Awesome food, sweet decor, and very cool vibes. Breakfast, lunch, dinner are all clutch.
Excellent ambiance and service Really enjoyed the food. Did think the prices were a little higher than normal but it is ok. Definitely stop by.
Cool place to visit. Did not try the food. Unique gifts for sale in shop.
Great food and hospitality. A Winner. Loved the place. SLO life
Farmhouse catered an event for my school. It was so incredible!!! Cant wait for them to be open full time!
Weve eaten at Farmhouse Corner Market three times now. Every dish weve tried has been delicious! Highly recommended!
Great location and decor, but disappointed in the food. I got the hamburger. The tarragon aioli was so overpowering thats all you could taste. My sister got the alternative meat burger. It was slightly better but still not a great hamberger. Weve been waiting for a year for this place to open. Also pretty expensive for what you get.
Taking the farm to table concept to a whole new level. Ive been extremely satisfied with every dish served by Farmhouse!! Highly recommended!
Bring your fat wallet and don’t be too hungry! This is a very lovely place, truly excellent decor. Lunch outside under the umbrellas is very pretty. But, counter service and $13 for one eggplant on a cup of tabouleh? That’s mighty proud. My dining partner had chilaquiles... they were tasty but two eggs atop tortilla chips tossed in a sauce is not worth that price (I think it was $15.) The ice cream is excellent, and a dessert so highly priced is easier to accept than a lunch so very expensive. Probably this will be a big hit with the tourist crowd. $18 for a take out tri tip salad? Really? That’s more expensive than any sit down salad in town.
My husband and I eat out frequently and feel like we have a “lay of the land” as far as the restaurant scene goes in SLO. We tried Farmhouse a couple of days ago and were super pleased with our experience. At first I was wondering if the quality of their food would match their farmhouse branding which was well done but something you see a lot of these days. I was watching. Then the food came. Wow. My husband and I both agreed that it’s the best we’ve had in SLO. Very unique, fresh, flavorful and creative. The charred spring pea dish was by far my favorite. A highlight was their cultured butter with brioche, the butter served soft and drizzled with some kind of yummy oil then sprinkled with little, purple blossoms. Get out!! Sooo flavorful. We spent some time talking to the executive chef’s wife who was helping run the show and she was lovely. Our waitress, Jessica, was a delight as well, both ladies sharing the excitement of their new venture with us. We left feeling happy that such a top notch place has opened its doors. We’re looking forward to seeing what they do!
Chef Will and his team put on memorable feast. I have yet to have a bad dish, but my favorite Farmhouse creations are the ahi tostadas, the whisky tango hot dog, and the sliders. The food tastes gourmet, but its without any of the pretentiousness that normally comes along with gourmet food. Its also pretty cool that they serve out of a vintage airstream trailer pulled by a vintage pickup truck. It was a great addition to the event I attended.
Well designed, clean space with phenomenal service and food. Only lacking 5 star review due to lack of WiFi access.
Nice novelty market with ice cream available, I look forward to eating at the Market restaurant.
Very cool decor, - pseudo retro feel to it.
Great food! Ive recently been following a restrictive diet and Will can make delicious meals to accommodate that. His paleo cookies are especially good.
It was just OK. Food and service ok.
OK. So, today was our 3rd meal here, as Marks boys work in the area and we hope to make it a little hang out for breakfast/lunch once in awhile. Great atmosphere. The Farmhouse breakfast Mark had before was quite good and we appreciate that the restaurant utilizes local growers. Ive tried the meat pie (?) that comes with a nice side salad. Very nice. However, as retirees, we literally have to count our pennies to afford coming here. Its a little too high priced in our humble opinion and compared to other great spots in SLO area. Today, Mark tried the Farmhouse burger, and he would not order it again. We commented to our server that it was quite small, (I actually thought it was a childs plate) with un-noticeable cheese and no lettuce or tomato, the onions werent grilled or carmelized, and the seasoning was blah. Very plain. Mark actually said he couldnt taste the difference between the meat and the bread, it was so dry. For $16, we expected something along the lines of Eureka or Tahoe Joes which each serve a memorable burger. Very disappointed. I had the shrimp roll, at our servers suggestion, and it looked impressive & tasty - but so much creaminess that the bread fell apart quickly. It was messy but nice, yet needed something, like some greenhouse tomato or pickle, something with a tad more taste to make the shrimp flavor pop and enhance their sweetness. Bland seasoning. For $22, cant see me ordering that again either, even tho I pretty much liked it. The watercress was a nice touch, but not flavorful. A little aesthetic greenery. We both agreed the fries were the highlight of our meals - perfectly seasoned, not greasy. I think it would be great if the restaurant might consider offering a few senior plates. We could come more often and try more things. We definitely enjoy your team and the atmosphere. Im sorry we havent hit on a favorite dish just yet. Fingers crossed. We want to support you guys. I can tell alot of effort goes into pleasing your customers - for our personal taste and wallets tho, just needs some tweaking. Thanks, Viqui
Awesome food and great service
My favorite thing about Farmhouse is the cookie! There are always fresh baked cookies that are delicious. Cant get enough :)
Rather pricey but at least they had live music!
The coffee was bitter. I asked her to warm my croissant and she way over cooked it, almost burned. No reason to go back.
Chef Will is off the charts. His food and ingredients are always interesting, delicious and fresh. Highly recommend.
Chef Will and his staff have excellent attention to detail - both in their cuisine and customer service! Their passion for their trade is apparent - an excellent choice for any catered event!
Love this place !!! The best place to eat in town.. also try ice cream .!!! Super good
Catering is top notch Chef Will always has some new and exciting meals to try can’t wait for the grand opening of Farmhouse Corner Market!
Brand new place. Eclectic menu but interesting.
Very nice place and the food was excellent.
I love Farmhouse! My favorites are the salads and paleo cookies. Chef Will is the best!
Amazing catering company, very friendly and the food was delicious!
Just attended the Soft Opening for this restaurant ..... A M A Z I N G !!! Best restaurant in SLO for sure ...... the food leaves you thinking about it the next day!! This place is a Gem !! Cheers!
The food is fresh, tasty and proportioned perfectly. The sliders are to die for! Kuddos to Chef Will and his crew!
Great atmosphere, love the shop.
I can still recall the taste of those slider burgers, with all that delicious cheese melting thru. Chef Will you are a true artist!
Farmhouse catered an event I was at and roasted up an awesome pig.
So good! Please open on Sundays!!
Great food and ice cream!
Great! Kids loved it as well
