Was having a sweets craving and didnt want to leave house. Probably should have skipped ordering for a myriad of reasons. First off, the web site is flashy and for the most part works. But I tried to order and item and it kept automatically adding a topping to the ice cream sundae. So I changed it to just a pint. And you cant order and pay cash. Minor things, but still...As for delivery, it too 37 minutes on a Tuesday evening. Not terribly long but theyre 4 minutes away. I should have just drove my own car. At least the young woman that delivered was wearing a mask. The food is good. Not quite the presentation as on the web site pictures. The pint of ice cream is about 80% full. They dont really pack it. But quality and taste is fine.Total price with delivery charge, tax and tip was over $25. I expected that but in hind sight probably wasnt worth it. Not so much for my wallets sake, but for my waistline.
Cookies are delicious and so was the brownie. I personally dont use cash often, but not having the option for customers to pay with cash seems pointless when the employees are wearing gloves. The employees (understandably to some extent being so late) were not the friendliest, but were to the point and did their jobs good.
The cookies are awesome & I’m super happy they have gluten free options. This is bc of celiac and not by choice being gluten free. The staff working here on this particular shift (girl &guy) definitely ruined my experience here. As soon as we walked in they went in the back. When I asked about gluten free the girl didn’t even know what gluten was. I would recommend informing your employees on all the products that you sell and what they are. After check out the girl was super rude and not welcoming at all. Overall the cookies are great but my experience sucked.
I really loved my experience ordering the box of 6 vegan cookies. All of the delicious cookies were delivered in about 20 minutes and still squishy and warm. One of my roomies had one and didn’t even know it was vegan. 100% recommend the delivery option and I plan to do this every night.
No parking. And they don’t except cash?¿ WEIRD.all I wanted was some cookies. But no instead I left crying smh.
Insomnia is a classist business. They only accept privileged kids with Mommy and Daddys credit card. I am a hard working American that got in debt with the state and that does not allow me to have a bank account while I pay it off. This means I carry cash a lot. I took my kids in for ice cream sandwiches and was told no, that they did not accept cash. Hey insomnia cookies we dont all have credit cards, please get off your high horse and accept cash like the rest of the planet.
Clerk made first visit awkward and uncomfortable. Not friendly, do not visit.
We went in late one night and all had cookies. They were warm and fresh out of the oven. Delicious!
Great for a late night run!
Good cookies, no parking. If your waking its great.
Good ice cream. Did not try a cookie but they looked good. Service is good. 4 starts because the selection is limited and a bit expensive.
The cookies were ok but the coffee ice cream was great!
This place has great cookies and ice cream sandwiches, and they actually make deliveries of fresh cookies and ice cream.
Nice place thats opened till midnight and delivers till 3am. Several cookie flavor choices to choose. Two sizes of cookies to choose from. Unfortunately not many ice cream flavors. I ordered a triple chocolate cookie with coffee ice cream. The other order was a macadamia cookie and chocolate with mint chocolate chip ice cream.
Always a good day when you open your door to insomnia cookies. So delish !!!
Parking is across the street. Great people and love the late night sweets
The best brownie and ice cream
Drove all the way from Morro bay to find out they dont take cash.
Awesome cookies, with a gluten free and vegan option. Theyre a tad pricy, but worth it.
Kind of pricey for a late night sugar splurge but friendly service and i liked the music.
Cookies are actually really good! I guess anything that is fresh will taste good but it was nice because it was melty and warm. However, its $1.70 for a cookie that is quite small for the price but I guess quality over quantity.
The cookies are good. Served warm everytime Ive been there. They are a bit pricey for what they offer.
Delivery is convenient but dont expect any of grandmas good good.. Expect some recently baked Pillsbury cookies. At least its better than Batchs cookies downtown.
Went around 1 am & loved it for a Late Night snack ! I was concerned for the workers safety it’s easy to walk into and she was alone. I hope they don’t have just one person working.
Just went over, and wow that line. However, totally worth it! Super nice staffing, just know that there is a minimum 3 dollor purchase for credit cards 😊 will be back!
The line is ridiculously long, almost like the disneyland lines. The staff is nice but the cookies are nothing special. They are extremely overpriced...2 for $6 considering their size. It’s more of a try it once and that’s all, kind of store. Delivery was closed yesterday as well :(
Good cookies, but super pricey considering theyre just cookies. Its a nice little spot to stop and the staff are friendly, but I get a weird vibe there and I have a feeling theyre not handmade cookies or anything like that.
The best cookies in the world have arrived in SLO! Same great taste, quality, and friendly service you would expect!
I ordered delivery and selected to pay with cash, though once the driver got here she didn’t have the correct change and I ended up paying $5 more for my order for this reason. I do not recommend.
Always open, always tempting. Even at 3 am these people have smiles.
Appreciate the wide variety of options. However, last time the cookies were so meaty that they immediately fell apart and they were hard to eat.
Stated 40 minutes to deliver, took 1hr 40 minutes. Ridiculous. Cookies were ok, not worth the wait, and nowhere near as good as Cowboy Cookie. Cookies were about 3-3.5” big. So not too big for the price. Won’t go back.
Cokie
The cookies are not even warm all the time or unique/rememberable. They are subway quality. The best cookie they offer is the large reeses peanutbutter. It has a buttery texture, a pliable mouth feel and a a giant reeses right in the center. If you like peanutbutter cookies get one here. If you like any other type of cookie, its best to look somewhere else. On top of that, buying multiple is definitely not worth it at $2.50ish for a small cookie and $3.49 for a large. Slodoco is a better midnight binge that is likely more fresh, faster and in a more relaxed environment.
I really love this place, their cookies are delicious.
Delicious! A little pricey, but worth it as a treat.
Great for that late night and early morning cookie fix
Cookies were meltier than the before, overpriced cookies, too much sugar, storebrand are much better and cheaper.
Great cookies!
Great cookies but they are very expensive
I expected more for the price...😑
Cookies nice and warm.
So bomb.
Hurry guys!
