Visited this Costco several times and noticed the service level - from top managers to employees - lower in compare with some of northern California Costco warehouses that I usually visit.

Great help in the tech section! Very impressive knowledge of each TV, helped me for quite awhile. Then super pro people at the checkout line also! Cant recommend this Costco enough!

This is a nice and even impressive costco.The arrangement of the goods is done very well thoughtfully. Also the shells are well stocked. The bathrooms conveniently located.In addition, the cashier stations and check out are close to the management center at the front of the store.The gas stations are a little funky but its claiming and well run its just not the the newest type that Costco offers.

Neat items always fun to browse and see what other costcos have it was ok scored some deals but some one to check the people at solar sales you sir are not part of costco and dont have to be a maskhole I asked for one at the door but if you dont have a solution dont speak for costco luckily the employee at the front was awesome and gave me one also please tell the lady in food court to calm down no need to be rude to the elderly I overheard her being unpleasant other than that it was a good trip

It was one of the first Costco store that I used to go years ago. Best Costco store in the area. Everything you need is available there. This is the only Costco store located in the Central coast I believe. The gas station is opened early and closes lately. You can find fresh products. I like to buy foods whenever I come to SLO.

Not too crowded, shelves were stocked well. Still cant self check out with alcohol (wine). It would be nice to have an in store app to check out (like Sams).

Horrible experience. Replaced about 6 cashiers with self check out. Lines were horrible. No social distancing. Nobody using self check. I get it. When you spend $300 they should provide cashier and packing.

Been going here solely for the $1.50 hot dogs. There used to always be a line for that, the puxxas, and other low priced goodies. I do t have a Cosco card and they had never asked in past(at any Cosco) but now they demand to see your Cosco card and as a result the place is almost emptyThere are folks there but not like the crowds before. Thanxz Covid -19!

The lady working the exit door on the afternoon of 07/01/2021 is extremely rude. I am disabled and have excruciating pain with mobility. I did not know that I could not enter the exit door. She was so very unprofessional raising her voice and yelling at me that I need to use the other door. The other door I admit is only a few feet further away and I should have used that one. I asked her if I was just needing to use the kiosk did I need to walk back out and in? She replied in a very angry and condescending voice. SORRY! UH YEAH YOU DO! Never ever have I had a bad experience at Costco before. I understand that people can have trying jobs and difficult personal lives but there is never any reason to humiliate a disabled person this way. Again I except my fault in this I should have made the few extra steps to go in the entrance but as stated I am in severe pain whenever standing or walking and I have never been advised to not use that entrance. Please pray for her as she needs peace and happiness brought into her life. I hope whatever she is going through resolves soon.

San Luis Costco. I got off work late and rushed to get to the gas station. Got there 9:25 and they don’t close till 9:30. The guy already had cones out saying closed.... it’s only 9:25.. they won’t open till later and I have to drive to LA at 4 am so they won’t be open..Called customer service at San Luis Costco told them your guy closed it earlier than 9:25 then they just hung up on me.I wasn’t yelling or sounding rude. Just normally told them that he closed early. Why they have to be rude and hang up like that?Forgot to mention 2 other cars got there same time I did..

Rachel in the optometry department is super amazing and helpful! I purchased my first pair of glasses here and not only was she very patient and knowledgeable, but helped me find 2 pairs of glasses for less than half of what one pair would have cost me through my optometrists office with insurance! I highly recommend Costco optometry and if you go be sure to seek out Rachel for help.

Well it’s a Costco so it’s amazing. But it’s kind of a nightmare during peak hours get there early or during work hours.

I love our Costco. The staff is extremely helpful. The only issue is that the store has been rearranged a few times in the last year, which doesnt seem like a big deal until youre in a hurry.

Regular shopper, bought a lot of groceries and prefer their pharmacy than the previous chain rx.

I get all my bulk items and commonly used foods. Quick ideas for dinners too. The pastries are fabulous.

Costco is a giant warehouse grocery store. At Costco you buy items in bulk to save a little money. This Costco is usually very busy. The parking lot is also very busy making it hard to get in and out of. Usually will have to stand in line for about fifth teen minutes just to check out of Costco. Costco has a great outside food court to grab a bit to eat. The food court offers hotdogs, hamburgers, pizza and other food items. The prices at the food court are a good deal.

I always love going to Costco. They usually have samples out to enjoy while youre shopping. They have a pretty good cheap whiskey and a great variety of bulk products. We usually buy a handful of bulk items because its just the two of us, so if youre a larger family then youd probably benefit more from buying bulk. So far all of their products have been good quality. We purchase groceries, clothes, and miscellaneous things for around the house and so far they have all been great. If you get a membership, Id recommend springing for the Executive Membership. It may be twice as much as their regular one but there are far more benefits!

Management does a good job at this Costco. Things seem to always run smoothly unless you come in the middle of the day which means that theres going to be a lot of people in there and it can only go so fast inventory is always stocked up and usually get what youre looking for.

Costco is... Costco! What can I say more? The managers were kind enough to direct us to the gas station hidden behind the store, since we were traveling through on a road trip. Restrooms were clean. This seemed like a smaller Costco, but it was busy as any weve been to.

Costco is worth the cost of membership. Gas is much cheaper than anywhere else in SLO. They offer a huge variety of merchandise and food items. From my experience the check out lines are usually reasonable and move swiftly. Need new glasses, Costco has the best prices.

So Im sure why they have samples, but make you wear a mask even though I did my part. I went against my judgment and got vac. Its ok to eat in Costco but not to breath. Silly people.

I really like Costco, but was slightly disappointed that I wasnt allowed to mix the strawberry and chocolate syrup on my ice cream. It gets pretty hectic and busy in there but theres a lot of great stuff.

We went for Costco Gas and a hot dog. The gas line was not too crazy long when we arrived. However this station needs to be upgraded to having more than two pumps available per line of waiting customers. I was the fifth or sixth car in line for the pump and we sat there for a good 45 minutes before a gas pump was available. I think that was far too long to wait in line to save 28 cents per gallon. There are also no indicators showing when any gas pumps become available which would be helpful in lessening the wait time a bit.

As usual very great place to shop, conveniently located near me in SLO. Great products with affordable prices.

Its Costco... its a warehouse store...great employees...great prices. Getting down to it...the $4.99 Rotisserie Chicken, lovingly referred to in our household as the 5 Buck Clucker, is the Queen of all the of all the Rotisserie Chickens. You cant even roast a bird at home for this price and have it turn out half as tasty. They know why they are doing in the Bakery as well.

They now have self checkout! Makes it fast and easy for when you have few items.

Bad cashier service. There is a guy who screamed at us saying Everybody else who is not paying go to the wall. We understand that, but that is not a correct way to say it, and it is not our fault that guy was having a bad day.

The man at self check out was RUDE! Sorry I didnt get his name. We asked for boxes he said they had none..there were boxes everywhere. Then I got out out of line and let My daughter in law continue checking out as I had to take my alcohol to a live checkout clerk. He then asks my daughter in law where was I going with my alcohol after telling me I couldnt self ck. Rude RUDE RUDE.

Great place to buy everything for your home

Great place to purchase items for a medium sized family. Fairly cheap prices makes me keep coming back. Other than that it does have very long checkout lines and no self checkout. Which means no quick shopping runs, its all or nothing.

I brought my truck to Costco when they opened at 10 am because I had a flat tire. I purchased the tires from Costco two years ago and I was going to take them up on their road hazard warranty. I didnt have an appointment, but I had a flat tire so I didnt have much choice; I needed to get it fixed. When I dropped it off I told them there was a nail in the driver side rear tire, and I asked how long the repair would take. He did not even give me a ballpark estimate. He just said there were three cars in front of me. OK then, I figured about two hours. I couldnt really go anywhere so I waited. Four and a half hours later they told me my car was ready. When I looked at my truck, the nail was still in the tire. I didnt have much choice, and I was not going to sit through this again, so I had him take it back in and fix it. I had to call my boss and tell him I couldnt make it to work because of Costco. I total of six hours has gone by and Im still waiting.Ive patronized much faster tire stores. You should too. Costco always takes a long time, and usually longer than they tell you it will take.

I ordered a photo from their site which offers stock photos. The collection is vast and interesting, offering something to suit just about anyones taste. That being said, although what I received was quite nice, the resolution in an enlarged size was compromised and ultimately not what I had hoped for. All in all, a great alternative for those who want variety beyond what stores offer in a limited, prechosen selection.

I like this store. I can find almost everything I can think of. Lots of organic stuff!

SLO Costco is the best! Lots of parking with lots of carts close by. Everything is easy to find inside the store. Great place to get prescriptions filled, new tires on your vehicle, your hearing aids, photos developed or gas in your vehicle. You can also get lunch right outside in the food court for cheap!

Excellent values with friendly, decently paid employees who receive a livable benefits package.

I always find great deals for my home and lifestyle even though we are only shopping for 2 adults.

This store is beautiful. It is how all stores should be run. I am particularly thankful to Mark, the marketing manager, for taking time and effort to help me out.I spent about an hour at the store watching customer service employees interact with a large variety of customers. The professionalism interest and respect shown to all is exemplary.I went home and talked with my kids about culture and how powerful it can be to an organization.

A little frustrating... I made appointments for My husband & I to get flu shots & receives confirmations of both appointments. We arrived about 15 minutes early for the 1st 2 appointments of the day. When we arrived they had no record of my appointment, but they worked me in. After filling out more paperwork we had to wait 20 minutes to be called for our shots. When my husband was called for his shot, they had mixed up his paperwork with mine & they sent him back to wait while they straightened it out. Then I had to wait longer. It was very confusing. It was the first time getting shots at Costco & probably my last. So much easier & faster at CVS.

What can I say… Its Costco.

It is Costco. Buy large of quantities of great food at low prices. Cashew nuts and Chocolate raisins. Daves killer bread at half price. Kerrygold Dubliner cheese is exquisite. Rotisserie chicken and 5lbs of grapes for 1 or 2 dollars a pound. I have fallen for the Kirkland Brats. What else are you going to do while sheltering at home - eat like a king. The world may be ending, but you can go out happily satiated.
