I had my girlfriend in charge of fixing an onan generator they quoted repIfzt $ 1000 i dint tell her it was fixed they wasnt honest enought to tell her that so they installed a carburator that wasnt neededSo from santa barbara ca, she drove it to slo for a $1000 for an alternator yet they didnt install it and when they had her pick it up not all the parts the muffler was missing, had to wait 2 weeks to get it, so we could install it, after that no answer from them over the phone, thats why if there was a no star i would give it, by the way this was a word contract just in case anyone do bussines with them make sure you get it in writting .becauae the person mu girlfriemd talk to has no word.

I CALLED THE SHOP TODAY AND THE GUY I SPOKE WITH WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, HONEST AND HELPFUL, HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND EXPLAINED A QUESTION THAT I HAD ASKED HIM CONCERNING A GENERATOR, HE WAS VERY COURTEOUS. IF I HAD A BRAND OF GENERATOR THAT THEY SERVICED, SAN LUIS POWERHOUSE WOULD HAVE MY BUSINESS HANDS DOWN. Marks wonderful experience with San Luis Powerhouse is very similar to mine. Russ and Sue Kimmel of San Luis Powerhouse have been running their business for over 45 years! Its evident from the moment they answer the phone. They are dedicated, knowledgeable, and customer-service oriented--just as you would expect from a business with this kind of history in a community. I cant say enough about the ethics of these people. Their business is a reflection of that.

F you want an honorable and throughly top notch company that takes customer service seriously do business with SLO Powerhouse. I bought 2 Honda generators from Russ (the owner) and unfortunately one of them failed immediately. I know these are high quality reliable generators...thats why I bought them. I also know this sort of issue is rare. What I didnt know was that Honda doesnt have an exchange policy they want to warranty the work first. Obviously I dont want to rely on a generator that needs warranty work after 20 minutes of operation. Russ could have left me hanging, but instead did the right thing. He exchanged for a new generator and took on the risk and hassle of dealing with Honda for a resolution. Thanks Russ! I can now continue my off the grid RV trip with confidence.
