Sunmaster, 276 Trade St, San Marcos, CA 92078.DO NOT USE Sunmaster or Sunmaster products.Four months after installation our solar blind now needs repair, and we also need repair to our roof from damage caused by this blind !Bob (salesperson) is a nice guy, but this does not help when you need to complain or ask for a repair.Lisa (owner) is very dismissive, almost rude. She will not entertain any kind of repair for us.We paid $2,275 for our blind in November 2017, We are now expected to pay an additional $800 for repair and $1,200 to repair our roof, within 4 months of installation !So our total cost for a single solar blind is now $4,275.00 !!!!!Beware, you have been warned !In response to Lisa, we have cracked wood now in the eaves of our home where blind is attached.

That big wind in October blew away our 10-year-old awning. Bob from SunMaster gave us a great quote and a couple weeks later it is all done and it looks great. They have a very clear communication process with Lisa. I found everyone from the company to be super friendly and courteous. The installer and his helper were the best!

Back in September my original canopies we’re starting to tear and show their age. After having several companies come by I decided on Sunmaster. The estimator and sales lead, Bob walked us through the various color and style choices.After receiving an estimate I let the project slip and didn’t contact them again until April. I was afraid that there would be a delay due to the time and COVID-19 situation. But, they honored the original bid and came right out to confirm dimensions. I was told the canopies would be ready in 4 weeks and was contacted bu Lisa to set my installation date.The day of my installation, Enrique and his crew came to my house and let me know what they were going to do. They worked for several hours installing the canopies and servicing the frames. They even had to work around several other workers I had at the house. At the end, Enrique walked me through the operation and patiently answered my questions.I couldn’t be happier with the color and operation of the canopies and would recommend Sunmaster to anyone who wants a quality job from a quality group of people.

SunMaster did an outstanding job on 4 large Maxi Drop Roller Shades (solar shades) for our outdoor porch. This is a local family owned southern CA company that is very customer focus. They were very timely on measuring and providing an estimate and very timely in the manufacture and installation. The fabric and craftsmanship is of high quality. Installation was very timely and efficient and also of high quality. Bob and the staff are very friendly and customer focused. We highly recommend SubMaster and give the highest rating of service and product.

We’re very happy with our new SunMaster awning. It looks great, operates easily with the remote, and provides the much-needed shade for our sunny backyard. This company put in three electric remote controlled shades in our living room sliding doors in 2007. as well as 3 electric, switch controlled black out shades in our bedroom doors and window. They also made and installed our electric patio awning.They have been a great company to deal with and the quality of their workmanship and product is terrific. The customer service, from start to finish-- as well as installed product for our house-- were/are GREAT! From the moment that I called SunMaster regarding a retractable awning for our front patio, Mr. Bob Kushner was prompt in his response (he answered me on a Sunday!) and subsequent visit to our house a few days afterwards to measure for the awning. Bob even e-mailed us images of a few renderings so that we could see what different fabrics would look like on a front awning in our space! From Bob, to Lisa Surdam (office administration, etc.) and the gentlemen who installed our awning, our experience was excellent! The installers even gave us different options on how we wanted them to install the awning re. measurements, etc., so that the line of the bottom of the awning would be aligned with our trellis next to it. How many installers do you know who actually pay mind to aesthetics, and give the customer such options? We also extremely happy with our Sunbrella fabric awning, a must for the arid region of North Inland San Diego in which we live. Thanks again, would definitely recommend Sunmaster and hope to use them again in the future! :)
