The go-to spot for tacos in San Marcos, hands down. Don’t go any further if you’re looking for a great taco at any time of the day (literally)! I come here multiple times a day and I am never disappointed, if anything they’ll sometimes throw an extra taco if they’ve made more than they needed. Love this spot.

Usually have a good experience when I come in, but I guess night crew is totally different from the afternoon folks. I was in on 10/15 not one person greeted and the 3 ladies at the registers it seems were more interested in a cellphone video than greeted customers. The lady that rung me up not one hello or thank you.

One of my favorite taco places in San Marcos, particularly for breakfast tacos. They pack these things FULL, and the ingredients are very high quality. The fajita tacos are excellent as well, though I wouldnt recommend the al pastor here. It manages to somehow both be extremely greasy and chewy meat at the same time, with little marinade flavor.

Absolutely tasteless food. No flavor to the barbacoa not even slat tortillas are store bought and very chewy. Now my guisada was Burt from sitting to king in the steam table or whatever they use. More salad stuff than meat. A forth of the meat is burnt along with the big piece in the picture.Read reviews and seemed it would work. Not sure if it’s the time of the day or a certain cook. I don’t know but I blindly tipped on food I would have sent back.A NO go for us for sure.Will leave another review with pictures. Can’t seem to find how to edit and add them

Sunday August 8th 10amExtremely rude older lady working the registry. I come here specifically to get my reward points on convenience items and gas. I asked the lady if she would let me put in my phone number to get my points and she said that was impossible she had been working at the store for six years and there was no way to do that I explained to her that there was. She got a major attitude with me I guess she said some pretty unpleasant things to her coworkers. I went to get my breakfast tacos and the ladies working back there refused to give me salsa even though I told them I wanted extra salsa when I place the order to go. They were rude to me too because of what she said. The gentleman store manager thats usually working is very nice its unfortunate he wasnt there to explain how the register works you would think after six years of working at a store you would know how to properly work the register. She spoke to me like I was a 5 year old extremely unprofessional. I will take my business elsewhere I felt extremely racially profiled. Ive been in the service industry for 20+ years and I have never been treated or talked to like that. I told her she didnt have to be rude to me and she got louder and even more rude.I asked for the store number so that I could try to resolve the problem with the Exxon 1-800 number and was told by the lady that it was a privately owned store not a Exxon. I have put in my number and got points here several times this could have easily been avoided.My spouse and I both have jobs that require a lot of driving we usually fill up each car four to five times a week here thats a lot of business to be losing over such a simple fix. This employee is losing your store quit a bit of business. Well take our business to real Exxon in town from now on.

Tacos are good in a pinch but the people who work the counter are incredibly rude. Don’t hope for good service. I stopped going here for tacos because the last time I ordered the woman helping me was standing at the POS speaking full volume to the kitchen in Spanish cursing and speaking poorly about me. I speak Spanish and new what she was saying which was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I had even placed an online order that was paid for already so she had the minimal amount to do while helping me.

Best Barbacoa taco I have ever had. Service and food was amazing!

Service was fantastic, and the food was just as wonderful. Quesadillas are loaded with meat and the tortas are packed with a little bit of everything. Open 24 hours and breakfast and lunch are served all day! The restaurant is built into the Exxon not far from Texas State or the square. After hearing about how they have the best tacos in town I had to try them out. In a rush? Call ahead and you can pick up your order!

Don’t eat here I’m warning you! This is my first time trying this restaurant from Uber eats and everything I received was drenched in grease my tacos were wet I’ve never had anything like this before at a restaurant that served tacos! I understand a little bit of grease but everything I ordered was drenched in it my tacos are literally wet this is crazy! Avoid this place at all cost!

I often wonder what some of these reviewers would do in other countries. Probably starve. Go watch Anthony Bourdain for some culture, and enjoy your damn good gas station breakfast tacos.

Best tacos in San Marcos, hands down. I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley, and I’ve gotta say, these or on-par, if not better than the taco places down there. If you’re looking for some food that reminds you of home or just some good tacos, go to Bobcat Quickie. You will not be disappointed.

Ive been a regular for years, but Im done until at least the end of COVID. Today I picked up a taco order and observed exactly one of the three people in the kitchen area properly wearing her mask. Of the other two men, one had it pulled all the way down under his chin, and the other had it covering only his mouth, with his nose exposed. Either do it right or shut it down. There are literal lives at stake.

Went to get some tacos and the guy took hours, then when I complained he only said oh sh.. I forgot. I asked if he could give me discount or just do something. He said no im sorry, and gave me attitude the whole time and made me feel uncomfortable. Wont ever be back! Like if you make a mistake dont be rude.

If you’re not already a believer that breakfast tacos from inside a gas station can be the best you’ve ever had then you need to go here ASAP. AMAZING and so cheap! Their hours make swinging by after a night on the square or grabbing a taco on your way to class on campus so perfect. There’s always a long line of people every time you walk into the Exxon - that shows you just how good it is! (And the line moves pretty fast so don’t let that stop you)

Bobcat Quickie is probably the best place for breakfast tacos in town. They are fairly priced and you dont get skimped out. They fill the tortilla as much as they can and quality is never sacrificed. It is always fresh and hot. They have a team of highly skilled spanish speaking señoritas working non-stop, each with their own objective of ensuring that each ingredient is placed and perfectly created into a work of savory art that ends up not just satisfying your hunger but leaves you with a sense of purpose in life.

Was assaulted by a female in line. Did not know this female but she slapped me as hard as she could. I also didn’t say anything to her. The cashier did nothing, the cooks laughed, and the security guard just stood there. When she threatened to hit me again and I decided to stand up for myself the security guard decided to step in finally puffin his chest out and threaten to detain me. Would really like to talk to some sort of management there to see why? This is all on camera too and the police have been notified as well. Overall terrible place, terrible employees, and terrible customer service. Couldn’t even try the food to review it because of the incident. Don’t give this place your money

Have had my taco order wrong more than twice.. Than I have to drive all the way back to get them again.. Should check them when they give them to me but never thought id have that issue.. Its a simple order of tacos and they cant get that right.Its ok the first time but its happened consecutively and its a shame.

Today was the first time I ordered from here and it was so good. I ordered the chicken burrito and it was HUGE!! It is enough to feed 2-3 people. This will be my weekly stop.

These tacos are not worth the price. $4 for a taco is very expensive. I ordered two Al Pastor tacos totalled to about $8.60. The tacos themselves, filled with a lot of meat, were bland and had no flavor at all. There are better taco shops/taquerias not far from this store that are far cheaper and better flavor.

I ordered a burrito arre arre and what they gave me was unedible. I called them to ask for a refund and was told it was my fault because I took the food off the property. They were rude and unhelpful. Ive been going to exxon tacos for four years and I can now say that because of this experience I will not be going back.

Ordered online. Which half the time they dont get at the store. They have to call there boss to see and he lets them know lol. I show them were I was charged and they still do not care. Maybe because everyone that works there has no customer service experience. So i guess you take peoples money and they get no food in return. Will never go back here or recommend anyone!

Its been my weekly tradition since I moved to san marcos. These tacos are amazing! Get you a sprite or Gatorade and get a barbacoa or tripas or both with cilantro and onions and sour cream and you wont have a hangover!!! Ive been doing this for nearly 2 years.
