Still 1 ⭐ should be 0 Starting here, came to stripes 1901 today is 10/15/2021 this time the Marquee says the price for Gas is $2.79 for regular unleaded, but when you get to the pump its $2.89... False advertising? Definitely!! And you still have to go inside just to get your receipt.. Came in today 10/7/2021 time for some fuel. Did they fill the pumps up with receipts? No, Do they Care? Nope ... Then you have to walk inside with 30 people in line and no one is wearing a mask... But you still have to wait in line for a receipt, why? Cause this location is Lazy and they dont want to fix the pumps...

Great atmosphere clean kitchen respectful employees reasonably priced not to mention very good food

This place moves as slow as molasses. Ive decided I cant test my patience any longer by going to this one. There are usually 8-9 people in line in the mornings and ONE cashier working while the other one is slowly sweeping the floor or hiding in the back. No concept or concern for such a long time. Ridiculous and poor service in the mornings.The place is clean and well-stocked, I will say that.

Online says open 24/7. We pull in and the guy is mopping lights out and closed!! Please update your hours. This is very inconvenient theres about 10 cars out here as well that are trying to go in.

Went to Stripes late at night for 2 Snapple’s. Got a small one and a big one, was ready to check out when Sarah went out of her way to grab another big one for me, telling me that it’s the same price as getting 2 different sizes. Aaron was the one to check me out, making conversation w me as we waited for Sarah. Sarah was able to help me get the most bank out of my buck and Aaron was very talkative and friendly!! Hope to see them again next time I go!!

Came in due to not having enough time to get food threw a drive thru. Purchased 2 food items in the hot and ready area. Both were not cooked all the way. First item was cold which I received a refund. As for the second item looked burnt and I was fine with that the bread was just regular sliced bread (which im sure they were out not a big deal) got back to work took my first bite. Despite the look of the sandwich being over cooked the sandwich itself was rubbery and couldnt even get a regular bite out of it. (Oil obviously needs to be changed) only reason for this review is due to the contact info not being correct so I couldnt get ahold of management. Ill be retuning for a refund after work which is 7 hrs from now since now im not able to get food to eat again til then smh. P.S. This would have been my first meal of the Day.

Good gas station right off 35. Pumps are newer and usually no line inside.

Best service, Staff is very helpful. Employees are overworked but still seem to keep up with the demand also there products are always completely stocked. Restrooms are very clean.

My first time going into this location I am so pleased with the service I received from all of the employees. Everyone was so kind and helpful, I was having a really rough morning and the service I received really gave me a boost of positivity. The store was very clean and organized well. 10/10 in my opinion keep up the great work everyone!! :)

000 stars if I couldHorrible service, but typically cannot expect much from a convenient store that goes through employees like a temp agency. Also cannot trust the kitchen crew for providing much service seeing that towards the night when no one supervising them they go out side and drink beer or smoke weed while customers already paid for there food to be told there out of stuff when it’s obviously out on line.

Tacos are good and store has good drink selection. Gas pumps are nice and facilities are clean. Custoner service varies from friendly to rude.

A gentleman named Jim was very rude, and insisted on Trump winning the 2020 election?... as if that was necessary information for me to purchase a water and gas. Aaron & Sarah thankfully interrupted the conversation and asked me about my day. I was glad they did that because I’m not sure why a veteran would support someone who pushes for our country to go back to war. Thank you Aaron and Sarah!-JM

In spite of Hays County recent order to wear masks in public, I read complaints online that your employees in San Marcos are in noncompliance in spite of the high number of Covid cases in our town. One customer reported that when he asked the cashier why they werent wearing masks, they replied, because the rule is unenforceable. I read all this on a public forum. Maybe you might reconsider your policies?

Very few creepy people lurking around compared to some gas stations. Well lit and feels moderately safe even at night.

I want to love this place but everytime I go theres an issue. Theyre constantly out of food items and 32oz cups. The fountain drinks are always a hit or miss also... Half the time Dr. Pepper is out and everything else is running out so its watered down. And its always SO busy, but theres only one register open so the line is to the door... Which I dont understand when there is more than one employee present.

FOOD POISONING ALERT! I recieved food poisoning from this location. To add insult to injury I was accused of stealing the food that poisoned me. Zero was done by management to make this right so after my trip to the emergency room I will contact my attorney and the FDA. Avoid at all cost unless you want to be sick and disrespected!

For elderly patrons who are also handicapped - not the best place to shop. Walking cane in one hand and multiple items in the other forces the customer to make multiple trips to the counter. No hand-held shopping basket available. No notice on doors that SNAP (Food Stamps) machine is out of order. Let me make multiple trips to the counter with multiple items in my arms, stand in a long line that stretches out the door and when it’s my turn I’m told I can’t be served.Thanks for nothing. Perhaps putting a sign on the door that the SNAP terminal (a separate device from the cash register) isn’t operating would be a nice gesture. But perhaps that’s too much trouble for store staff and it would be too accommodating for elderly/handicapped SNAP customers.
