Always fun to find great deals. A store somewhere between Costco and grocery store. Like the attention to careful pricing to attract the Costco AND neighborhood grocery shoppers. Shelving, stocking needs lots of attention; gives claustrophobic feel but deals remain even if have to wade through boxes, etc. Bottom line:. Will go more often and hope problem areas addressed and corrected. 😎

Smart & Final is definitely smart and my shopping experience with this excellent store has been most satisfying in the past and definitely future!Aisles are clean. I rarely wait for a cashier to check me out!The lockdown virus limits my visits. Beyond helpful and competent. Summer at the register made returning painless and Spencer in produce gave me exactly what I needed. A great staff!

One of my favorite stores to do my grocery shopping. The staffs are very friendly in helping. Not too crowded. Would love coming back to do my shopping.

Used to be my favorite before WinCo opened with most items at half what you charge but still when I shop fort my mother who uses only credit ive tried s&f but you still use the produce bags that WILL not open so you still carry a lot of brands not availableanywhere else so later

Smart and final gets it right on what they stock and theyre employees are always helpful. With the pandemic they have it set up at check out lanes where you wait spaced apart but then you are called up to a specific lane so theres no rushing people ahead of you and everyone is calm and safe. Love the way theyve done this!

Their POS systems were slow and upon entry to the store the manager was there greeting people and let them know if they are in a rush their system is slow and it will be awhile. This was in the morning when people are rushing to work so I was grateful for that information. Still went shopping and everyone was polite

Parking lot is odd but otherwise normal low price all the time that is what there perfect for

Pretty convenient grocery store. Its a mix between a regular grocery store and warehouse. They have a good amount of bulk items throughout the store. It was pretty clean and the staff were friendly. I would go again.

Had to pick up a few things for dinner everythings always in stock and easy to find the lines were a bit big but the cashiers moved quickly

I went in for some Caesar salad and the check- outs were very organized with a video and voice to tell you when and which register to go to. I liked the way it was set up.

Historically, Im a big Smart & Final fan. I liked it better when it was primarily a restaurant supply store with some food. It was a always a good source for reasonably priced gear and supplies.With the conversion to a market that also sells restaurant supply its neutered its biggest attraction for me.That said, cheap groceries and supplies that most grocery stores will never carry still makes Smart & Final a unique store. Just be careful of the supply stuff you buy there. Ive been disappointed in the quality of some of it.

Great store, great staff. Very helpful and place is always clean and stocked. Have needed things ordered and they have always done so and had it set aside for me the next time I came in after they received their delivery. Have known many managers that have come and gone and they all were great, the most current is Hao and he is no exception, very helpful and friendly.

The problem is that the manager hardly schedule enough people to work, and us the costumers have to suffer long lines. The other problem is that they dont call out people taking 2 parking spots to park their car, when is no more near. The Manager have to do more.

San Marcos Smart and Final. Great store over all. Produce section has been declining over the last two months, rotten tomatoes -All of them when i brought it to their attention they removed all the packages, obviously they dont watch produce very well. Other veggies on the edge or over. Kinda have to dig through to find fresh veggies sometimes.

Friendly cashiers, produce clerks very helpful, everyone always willing to help and they have a great stock of everything. Manager also very helpful and courteous. Convenient location except you can only turn right when exciting parking lot.

Great store the only store that compares to this store is the one in Carlsbad as far as quality, layout and most importantly the people at both stores are fabulous. Prices are great you can beat them at Costco but who wants to buy enough Goods to have to Warehouse it...

Pricing is reasonable and can find almost everything I need. Fare variety of items and fresh fruits and vegetables. I will continue shopping for some of my food needs.

Not only is it a clean, new store, but the manager and staff are great. The cashiers are friendly. When I asked the employee to help get two heavy boxes from above, he was very helpful. I thought I had lost my wallet and the manager helped check around, watched the security cameras and we found my wallet....... in my car! Thank you fie going the extra mile!!!!! Love this store!

Still not enough cashiers, but its more spacious and brighter than the one I usually go to. Challenging to find a few items, but I finally was successful.

This store is close by so I shop there, but god forbid you need to call to check something over the phone. You will be on hold for ever just to have to call back to be told they can’t do anything over the phone.
