Hate new self service lines. Took a while to open a new register. I wanted a 1 lb bag of carrots. All they had were 2lb bags of organic carrots and limited supply of fresh vegetables that were not organic.

This is my favorite grocer, but they have no lane checkers anymore! The line for the check out at the single checker staffed is craaazy long. I don’t like self checkout with a cart of produce. I hope they hire some more people soon!

I went to Sprouts to shop, and I love the items they offer. The place is clean, and the attendants are helpful. The only thing I DONT like is the VOLUME OF THE MUSIC as youre shopping. Its too loud. Last night was the last straw, and Ive decided not to shop there anymore.I mentioned this to the cashier at check out, and she agreed with me. She said that sometimes its louder than it was last night.I couldnt concentrate on what I wanted to buy, not could I carry on a conversation with the person I was talking to on my cell, and I was using Bluetooth earbuds...I hate to complain when Im shopping, so I just wont go back.Thanks!!!

I literally shop at sprouts almost every week 😅 !! This is another one of my favorite locations! I enjoy all the products here, also the quality of produce is really fresh! Just the parking is a little crazy but other than that it’s great! Thank you all 💚

Overpriced, poor selection, terrible service, long lines at the cash register. I used to go to this store 2x a week for the past 8 years. It went down the hill during the pandemic and stayed there. It is worth the drive to Frazier Farm in Vista. This store is a big disappointment.

I’m not from around this area, but this location have failed when it comes to customer service, hence the 1 star review. As I was approaching the check out counter, there were 2 staff engaging in a conversation (older and younger male). The older man was loins and kept talking andres I can tell that the younger man was trying to still the other man talk while beginning to ring up my times (about 4 small beauty items). Both, did not greet me. The younger man did not excuse himself to the older man so that he do his job by greeting customers and ringing up the times. The older man kept yapping NONSTOP. At this point, I was annoyed and it was already late, around 830-9pm). I was waiting fir my receipt and the younger man pushed my items towards me. He didn’t even offended if I wanted a plastic bag. Both are rude and disappointment for Sprouts to employ these types of people.

Second time there for basic things and didnt have it. Ricotta cheese.

I have never reviewed a business before today, but I felt it was time. I have been shopping at the Sprouts on Las Posas fir a couple of years now. In the last 2 years, the Deli department has gone down hill. It used to be my go to deli. But now, it seems like they dont care. The rotisserie chickens will have a put out time of 11am, at 6 pm. (Isnt there a time limit on those) When trying to order sliced deli meat or sandwiches, everyone seems to not want to look at you, so they dont have to help you and when they do, they make you feel as you had interrupted their conversations with each other. I have always had a great experience in the rest of the store, meat, produce and the checkout line. Its just the deli that is terrible. The entire dept. needs to be trained, or a supervisor in there to oversee the service.

I like the Sprouts brand items.

My #2 Go To for grocery shopping. I like to look at the ads and get items on sale. Also shop first thing in the morning to cut down on crowds.

Several issues in this particular store:The Hiring manager Jordan is in violation of the The Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972. Clearly discriminates in the hiring process against well qualified/ over qualified individuals. Exemple: He clearly stated that he would not hire a particular client of mine for no clear reason other than him telling her: I dont wanna hire YOU! . He hung up the phone on her when she tried to understand why she received such a rejection being well experienced and qualified!Overall, a feeling of over stressed workers from lack of help.Very Long lines at the cashier. Everything takes forever!

All of the employees are super friendly and very covid aware, I feel like the produce quality has suffered recently though. They still have pretty good produce at an extremely reasonable price though. The meats are hit and miss, I really like their deli bacon and sweet Italian pork sausages. The chicken breast and beef steaks are low quality. deli meat is good, and they will build you a legit sandwich for $5! Top of the morning chocolate milk is out of this world good. I think its made with Dutch chocolate or something.

I usually don’t shop here but when I do I love it !All the produce is always fresh and worth buying. I love coming here for one specific reason they have exotic fruit ( soursop) I used to buy this fruit online and it’s so expensive.And a few months ago I went and found it ! I went crazy and bought all of them $21 dollars 💵 but worth every penny. It’s a hit and miss if you find it but I always get lucky and find it ! I love all the vegan options they have ! And when I do Instacart here it’s great ! Everyone is friendly and kind. I love coming here ❤️❤️❤️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸

Sprouts is a great place for more natural offerings. More like a regular grocery store than Trader Joes, but with a similar natural ambience. Great selection of vitamins and specialty health foods too!

If you like to pay $6 for a box of graham crackers when you can get them at Walmart for $2 then this is the place for you. Yikes.

7E2-811: Back to 5 star. Great prices on salmon. Diana behind the counter was very helpful.7E2-40F: Typically one of my two favorite grocery stores in the area. Their deals on meats and quality are top notch. Todays trip was not very good though. A great deal on wild caught sockaye salmon was this weeks special that brought me to the store. Unfortunately the clerk dealing with was not very proficient. The wrapping paper was rolled in such a way that end were open and he tried to put extra price labels to try to cover those but did not work. He made two packages for me. Both crappy. When he was working on my second package, another clerk came and rewrap the first package properly right in front of him. I was hoping he would get the drift and would a better job of wrapping but did not happen. Also I tried asking him to cut my fillets into 3 wide pieces but he did not get it. He kept telling, they are already in fillet form until I gave up. He was otherwise being helpful so I am guessing some more training and work experience may help. The associates in the meat department are generally very good. For this trip I am changing my rating to 2 stars from 5 until next visit.7E2-Old: Quality meats, sea food, and fresh produce. Great weekly deals.

Large variety of food available, including items for those with dietary restrictions! Im impressed with the selections for dairy and protein available in particular for the location I visited.They have fresh food thats ready to eat available too if youre just passing through and in need of an energy boost. I think theres basically everything you need here.

Love everything from Sprouts. They do have everything for your food needs, health needs, and so on. Go and experience it. You wont be disappointed 😉

Sprouts has gone down hill, no good management, constant long lines, out of product, the employees are very lazy, lethargic, no prices on the goods, I am going to shop at Frasier’s market, for now on, done done with sprouts also the new one in Carlsbad ! I was a department head back in the 70s for Vons grocery company, I know what I am talking about ! You should take some leadership from Frazier’s, that use to be a partner with sprouts, Get with the program or lose out In business !!! Don Beck

Very bad experience cashiers very rude.

I been shopping at this sprouts on a weekly basis and when COVID-19 happen they went above and beyond to make sure there stores were open and safe.1. Good customer service 8/10. I shop there weekly with my daughters and some i know on a first name basis.Karen has a great personality and consistently smiles and ask about my daughters which i appreciate. Makes me want to continue to shop at that location.2. The bathrooms are kept clean and often have a plant inside for ambiance.3. Deli not so good 5/10. The main person acts like he doesnt want to be there and service reflects that and its not what i have experienced at other sprouts.The coffee seems to be a problem since they have the deli people serve the coffee and at other location its different.4. Vitamins aisle is well kept and usually find what im looking for.5. They have very hard to find items and well stock on probiotics and different selection of kombuchaa and other fermented products.They also carry a lot of local food items which i apprrciate.Overall the managers seem Great and often do many jobs and you can tell because they are stocking or helping out.Line get busy but it moves by fast.Ill continue to keep shopping here.

Visited this location a handful of times. The inside is nice but the customer service apparently depends on your race. The last time I was there the cashier was super cordial to the white woman in front of us. When it was our turn, we were not greeted and the cashier tossed my smaller items at me. He did not say thank you, have a nice day, etc. I heard him cheerfully greet the people behind us as we walked away. Hmmmm??? Had a similar experience tonight at the new Vista location. Will not be back to any of their locations.

Love to come and eat, we all sure would enjoy some kind of umbrellas over the tables. Wonderful place.

At this Sprouts you can find a really great selection of groceries and produce. They have many organic versions of both produce and meat. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are constantly working to keep the shelves stocked and the store nice and clean. Prices can vary from affordable to high. A lot of items you dont typically see at regular grocery stores can be found here.

Im at this store almost every morning with my son to pick up a lunch pack for him...... its definitely a convenient store for us. Always great customer service from guys at produce isles to deli to cashiers. *Ruben over the weekend answer to a call I made the store for a situation with salmon I had bought and offered to replace it....... Pro Tip: the sushi guys are there in house on Wednesday’s making fresh rolls and wraps!! And they have them on SALE every Wednesday.This crunchy shrimp roll was just five dollars - deal in my book.

Despite I spent a lot, the cashier did not focus on me. Just said hello but immediately started to talk with another cashier while still ring my stuff. Not even said bye. I was the one, after take my receipt that said thanks to him. I wonder why he was so distracted? Funny thing is that he was nice to the lady in front of me. Could be something to do with my looks? I sure was not in my best day that day anyway. But this should not matter for Customer Service.UPDATEToday May 14th/ 2021 I went again to San Marcos Sprouts and I ordered a sandwiche in the Deli and asked to warm it, and I waited over 5 minutes and people was come in and out and I still stand there to the point I just gave up and walkway. I never feel welcome when I step in that store.

Wednesdays have lots of coupons applicable. Decent deli, good beer selection, great bulk selection. Lots of wine, meats, chicken. Very gluten-free friendly. Can be a bit pricey, and the specials are often only a 25 cents off or 50 cents off a 5 or 7 dollar item, so keep an eye open.

What a great suggestion from the butcher yesterday... The Pumpkin Spice breakfast sausages was an awesome suggestion.. Had eggs sweet potato home fries and the Pumpkin spice sausages....nice!!!!!

A lot of items I used to buy frequently have been discontinued because of low profit margins. The ladies in the vitamin department always say hello, and there are a couple of produce guys that are very willing to be of assistance; some keep their eyes down, and act like you are invisible. The managers are awesome! I do not have to shop at Sprouts, but I do because of the aforementioned.

Love this location! Employees and Managers are great!! The only bad thing is that they dont have an Express Lane to pay!!! Waiting 15 minutes in lane just to pay for a Sandwich?! My break end it beforeI was able to pay 😔😔

They either need to hire more baggers or train their cashiers better. Every single time I go in, which is often, the cashiers ring up my stuff and throw it to the side until they are done and they usually do not bag or help me bag. They just move on to the next customer while all my stuff is still laying all over the counter. And they always have one bagger moving in between all the lines, which is clearly not working. All customer service falls out the window at the registers. Im so glad they are opening a new location closer to my house. Heres hoping those cashiers are trained with some sense of customer service.

It is a little hard to find help, but their fresh produce is amazing!!! They have a great selection of granolas and goodies in barrels towards the front. It works out great getting a bag and taking it to work for a healthy snack throughout the day. Great prices, and even better fresh food!!

This grocery store has the best deals on produce out of all grocery stores around San Marcos. The staff are nice and helpful. It has convenient bike parking.

Treated rudely because apparently he hand baskets are supposed to be stored in some specific place and I didnt know the secret protocol, and Im supposed to empty them before the cashier rings them up? after working 14 hours I really dont feel like working for Sprouts sorry. Pretty snotty for a place who covers organic things in sugar and pretends to be healthy.

Someone named Victoria answered my call. She couldnt answer my question about coconut oil being available at this location so she put me on hold for GROCERY! I was on hold for EXACTLY 10 mins. I hung up & called again. The same lady answered! The same thing happened! REALLY!? Have DECIDED Im not even going to test customer service as a WALK-IN! If this is AANY indication of customer service, DONT WANT TO waste MY TIME! Plenty of other health stores in the area, with good CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Some items are really over-priced, when compared with more traditional grocery chains, but by the same token, theyve got plenty of items I love that I cant find anywhere else. One of the only places around that stocks Usingers brats, for example!!

My neighborhood supermarket, so mostly reliable. The only thing is that Ive gotten multiple gallons of milk there that were spoiled right away. Do they leave them out in the heat before they put them in the refrigerator? Its more than a bummer.

I cant say that the Fish is really anything to cheer for! :-D

I love this store. I do most of my shopping here, love the availability of organic veggies and fruits in season, being able to buy in bulk at a most reasonable price (organic or not) and I think their reasonably priced meats and poultry offering is the best around. To all the spoiled people, who gave it one or two stars and ragged about the deli service or the cashiers or whatever, I say, Shop at Vons or Albertsons or Stater Bros. Wait in their ridiculous checkout lines, or try to find anyone in the store to help you. And check out those PRICES on produce, then go ahead and buy their over-distributed meats, generally lacking sourced labels. I hate to mention TJs, but they rate another 5 Star from me. Thank goodness for these non-big box options for food.

😕 I just bought 3 sandwiches there, the girl that helped me there was really nice but :I take a bite on one of my sandwiches and I felt something really hard, then again and again, I decided to check and gues what. The lettuce 🥬 was full of reddish/yellow dirt 🤮Ewwww I’ll never buy sandwiches there ever 🥵

I cant even...Was it a pretty store? Sure. The baskets/carts were clean and easily accessible by the entrance to the store, so kudos to that. Instantly I was swept away with the robust hustle and flow of the other enthusiastic patrons of Sprouts.Due to the outstanding organizational layout of the floor space, I had acquired most of my desired items within mere moments. It was like a whirlwind dream or pure palpable bliss. All of this was topped off when I caught a glimpse of my highly desired shredded cheese, and with that I was off to the register!Once at the register, this is when the dream turned to nightmare. The cashier quickly ran my items across the scanner and down to the bagger with his lustful brown eyes and gently teased dark hair. He was a man of mystery, and I could not look away. I was struck breathless as his hand grazed mine upon handing me my bag of sustenance. What was only brief moments in reality felt like getting lost in a triple scoop cone: one chocolate, one vanilla, and heated passion sandwiched in-between. The moment was shattered by the urgency of the customers behind me, whom I am sure were all eager to return home to their families after dragging home bags full of the days spoils.Like them, I too returned to my place of residence. An evening of relaxation and slumber awaited me. The groceries were placed into their final resting places. With the cabinets stocked, I turned to the fridge. In went the milk. The eggs. The cheese....THE CHEESE! WHERE IS THE CHEESE. Panic teared into my mind. My heart began to race and a thin film of clammy moisture formed upon my brow. Eyes darting side to side, I checked my new reusable cloth sack (very nice bags, kudos). No. Perhaps I placed it in the fridge already without realizing. No. In the pantry? No. After hours of searching, I realized that the brown eyed devil bagger had left my cheese. What can I do now but weep for what could have been...I cant eat scrambled eggs without cheese......Welcome to Trumps America.

Worst customer service at the deli. You just stand there and wait 10 minutes and they wont even come to the counter. When you ask for help they walk up like you are disturbing them from their break.Ask for paper over plastic and they look like the flip a lid. I guess we have to find another grocery store

Love it there! If they would only stock the Kalamata Artichoke Hommus! It appears that they no longer sell it 😢 They do however sell just Kalamata Hommus in a bit of a bigger container and thats delicious. Only one problem...Its rarely in stock 😢 All in all I love Sprouts! Id of given five stars if they brought back the Kalamata Artichoke Hommus and kept the Kalamata Hommus in stock!Sprouts carries the best Hommus on the planet so Im disappointed. Thank God they still have lemon zest!

This deli has the WORST customer service I have ever had the displeasure to be exposed to. How difficult is it to actually talk to someone who is waiting at the counter? Apparently pretty difficult. Learn some manners folks.
