I worked here for awhile and the pay is good. You dont need much training as it is very easy. I moved on due to my school hours conflicting the schedule. Although they do have 3 shifts if your considering working here. And yes its plastic molding so the smell is associated with the job! Ive welded for 8 years and never complained about the smells Ive dealt with within the industry. come on people.! Thank you courtnie and the whole basler team.
Look guys thermo plastics can smell a bit particularly during change overs but its nothing like fiberglass polystyrene. Been by there several times and havent noticed anything, try that at a polystyrene operation. The molding industry proves time and again that the levels even during purging are nothing to be concerned with health wise. Plastics is a great industry with some really exciting tech going on in additive manufacturing and rapid tooling. Hope you guys will reconsider.
They dont know themselves what there doing. And wont train you. The people that run it are married its a family run. If not in family then you get no respect
ZERO STARS I dont think you want to know what i think! Baslers septic system is out of order! NASTY!! NASTY!! The smell of raw sewage is KILLING US! The damn thing spews 2 times per day. For the sake of the neighborhood, the environment, the kids who play outside and the adults who bar-b-q, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GET THE DAMN THING FIXED!!
Horrible management they do not care about the staff at all. There is no ac in this building and fumes are surrounded everywhere with no filtration system.
