Staples is great for office and electronics, at all locations. The San Marcos store has especially nice and helpful staff. The store is always very clean and orderly, and if you cant find what youre looking for just about and they will show you to the place in the store you need.

Good assortment of gel pen refills. The girl in the Copy Center was very helpful although helping with the gel pen refill was not her job.

I felt sorry for the girl in the copy center. She was working by herself & was swamped! I gave her a $100 bill she had to call the mgr.to make change & he seemed to be a grump. By the way she was sweet & inspite of being busy was very accommodating. The 5 stars are for her!!!

Never had a problem here. My mom has been going here for a while and they treat her great.

My girlfriend and I went in to get a few black and white copies from the self printing machines and it kept canceling our prints. We tried both of them and the $5 dollar charge it takes before printing is a rip off. Even though I am aware that you get that refunded it is still a rip off. Also, these machines charge .11 cents a copy for black and white which is ok I guess. We had one of the associates working there who looked like one of the supervisors check the problem out and all he did was have us go through the whole process of using the self printer after I told him we had tried it twice already. Of course it didnt work AGAIN, (another $5 dollar charge) apparently the network was having trouble. if he knew the network was having trouble why did he have us go through the process again. IDIOT. The next step was for him to print them out for us and it was only FOUR copies which at .11 cents would have been .44 cents plus tax...we left with a .65 cent receipt and it dawned on me after we realized that the guy never gave us back our USB. I went back for our USB and instead of going to go get it for me he tried calling another associate who was closer to the counter....seriously....then he decided to walk around from the register which no one was their purchasing anything and I asked him if the self printers are .11 cents for black and white why did we get charged .65 cents....he replied with hesitation I believe its 12 cents when you do it over the counter...that was bogus because at .12 cents that would have been .48 cents plus tax. He gave me my USB back and then he offered to refund me a fifth copy. It dawned on me again and I rememberd seeing him toss one of the papers when he was doing our copies and charged us for it which was the reason why he offered to refund me a page, and thats where the .65 cents came from. If I were you I would watch out for these kind of people.

Highway robbery... It cost me $18 to print 25 pages. Ridiculous... And the computers used for printing charge $0.30 a minute which become more frustrating when the internet is slower than anything. Go somewhere else for printing.

I came here once to buy a hard drive and the sales rep was really helpful in locating what I needed.

Friendly, not that cheap unless theyre having sales. buying online from Amazon is always cheaper but sometimes you need things the same day.

Occasionally, they have some really good deals on tech items, but it seems this location is usually understaffed. If you dont mind waiting for someone, though, you might just save some money.

Extremely poor customer service. Went to get a chair that was on sale and was then told it was display which carries another 15$ charge which was not marked on the chair itself. This was after getting no assistance and having to get someone to actually assist me.

It was a little frustarting as I was needing assistance, looking to upgrade my computer. It took a while for someone to help me, they were short staffed.

Said they were open till 9, they were closed with no one in sight at 8 15pm:(
