My son has been taking ukulele lessons with Mr. Jason since the pandemic. He loves it. We even bought the ukulele from them. Their price is competitive and they have good quality instruments. I feel good to be able to support this lovely small business in my community.

I have only praises for that music school, they are phenomenal, and helped us find the right match for our children- their teachers are patient, kind, and once we found the perfect match for each kids, it was just a pleasure for them to practice and do their lessons... (we did piano, cello and violin)

My son has been taking piano lessons here for 3 years. My son really loves his teacher and now he is starting trumpet and we are currently renting one from them.Everybody is warm and helpful and it always feel like family. My husband even bought 2 guitars from them.

I had an opportunity to visit and observe the music program offered at the San Marino Music Center on Mission. I was impressed by its outstanding and well-rounded music education program. I was particularly pleased to see that the students were enthusiastic about their music lessons and that the parents applauded their childrens progress. In addition, the music instructors were professional and nurturing in working with the students.One year of performing arts is still an entrance requirement at the University of California and the California State University campuses. Consequently, a music program like the San Marino Music Center on Mission provides students with a solid foundation upon which to build. Therefore, it is with complete confidence and without any hesitation that I recommend the San Marino Music Center on Mission. It is an exceptional program.

San Marino music is a wonderful place to learn music. Staff and teachers are amazing. I would recommend this music center above others in the area...we have tried a couple. My girls (elementary and middle school age) have had lessons (guitar, piano and saxophone) here for over 2 years.

We love SMMC. It is warm and welcoming, as well as professional. Patrick, our sons guitar teacher, is patient, and trained in music therapy. Our son loves him and looks forward to his lessons. The new location is spacious and convenient.

My 8 year old daughter is a student at the San Marino Music Center and has been learning to play the guitar there for the past 2 years. When she started as a student she had a great love for music but very limited experience with playing any instruments and essentially no proficiency in reading sheet music. Since she started, shes worked with two instructors (currently John Axume, owner) who have patiently and professionally taught her the fundamentals and now, at this point, I feel her playing is very strong and her confidence is dramatically improved as well. She recently participated in her first recital, hosted by the San Marino Music Center, and had a great experience performing for an audience. I highly recommend the San Marino Music Center to other parents of aspiring young musicians.

We love San Marino Music Center! My 6 year old daughter has been taking piano lessons with Natasha/Lily and my 8 year son recently started taking guitar lessons with Jason. All of these instructors have been amazing with my children! They are patient, friendly and professional at all times. Taking music lessons is fun for my kids and they enjoy practicing what theyve learned - a great confidence booster! The owners, John and Sisilia, are terrific! They are knowledgeable, organized and always greet you with a smile. San Marino Music Center is truly a fantastic place for children to develop their music skills - we highly recommend it!

This is not just a music school, it is a place where people can learn music and the fundamentals of music, but also where the younger students can learn how to concentrate in todays fast world of high velocity information flows. Kids need a challenge and need discipline, I found that our daughter Lucy really excelled here and will continue to go for the foreseeable future.

My daughter has Ms. Sisilia as her piano teacher. She prepared my daughter to successfully complete and pass all her ABRSM tests. Ms. Sisilia is very patient and truly understands my daughters strengths and weaknesses. She chooses pieces for my daughter that complements her style and interest and works on improving my daughters skills by giving her assignments/tools/tips that would help. My daughter continues to like playing the piano because she has a teacher that can relate and inspire her.

Good music teachers but the person working the desk is stuck up and condescending.

We have been taking lessons with SMMC for a few years now, and the friendly atmosphere, quality instruction, and reasonable pricing have made us huge fans!
