The supermarket is quite complete. They wont let you put the groceries to your own bag. You have to put all the items to the cart and bring it outside then you can fill it to your bag. If you buy the bag, still you have to put it by yourself.

The deli depth. Close too early, the lady in the counter is so in a hurry to close. Shes so rude. I bought friend rice twice. First time I ignore second time they need to be reported at the health dept.I think they use old rice. Or.left over white rice. Also the big deal was I never see anybody disinfect thier carts nor they dont have hand sanitizerLastly they dont have disabled parking . Unbelievable.

Good for Asian food. But be aware of the expiration date of the products. It is not a nice place to shop because it is not very clean and does not smell so good. Must be because it has an aquarium with fish, lobsters, shrimps, live crabs. Looking like that does not make you want to eat, the aquariums are too dirty. There are other better places to buy fish.

Prices are usually good, better than some of the big names. Good selection of usual grocery items. Being an Asian market, this place also have good Asian grocery, fruits, liquors, drinks.Their meat selections are probably not the best. Some of the food items may not be the most fresh. As a buyer, you just need to know whats best to buy at this Market and where to go for the rest. Their good prices compensates for the inconvenience. They also have reward program, collecting points will allow you to buy food/bbq from hot food stand. The roasted duck/pork or chicken there pretty good.

This place has my favorite hot and sour soup mix. Its also got everything else you need and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately the store itself needs a lot of fixing up. Theres cardboard everywhere on the floor to either soak up water or cover up places in the floor that need repairing. And although all of their produce seems fresh theres flies flying around that make you feel a bit unsure.

Great pretty large asian market with a small restaurant on the side. They have fresh fish, and as I found out recently they will sushi cut the fish for you if you request it! Lots of variety from many different Asian countries. They have a good fresh veggie and fruit area as well as frozen food. Its much like Ranch 99 but not as fancy flooring and displays. Simply put its an older building that has not been remodeled in a long time.Note: as of April 26th they have yet to go back to their old closing time of 10pm and are only open until 8pm.

This place was always a place to shop at even though theres 99 Ranch not too far from San Mateo/Foster City/Burlingame, in the Peninsula. I am not someone to return something especially for something I bought less than a few dollars, hence I typically dont keep my receipt thinking I have to keep it for any potential returns/exchanges. I shop her a lot, so one receipt less or not, its nothing to this franchise market. Bottom line is the principle and I may just be one customer, but I do also feel its a health concern that the public should be aware of. I bought this Chili Bamboo Shoots In Soybean Oil, brand by Wei-Chuan, Made in Taiwan, with a noted expiry date of May 26, 2019 in November 2016. It is also noted that there is 3 years of shelf life, so lets do the math...maybe this was manufactured sometime in early 2016. I opened it the morning of January 3, 2017, and discovered mold. (Please see photos.) As a good faith effort, itd be nice for an exchange or return from the market I purchased it as it is pennies to them. With or without receipt, seriously? I am never a type to buy something, especially at a grocery to store just to get a few bucks back as I obviously wanted the item. I asked the cashier and the cashier went to ask an owner or manager. Of course, the answer was no only because I didnt have a receipt. Unfortunately, the mold is not the grocery stores fault, but just a good faith effort is NOT too much to ask. I mean, their groceries especially produces arent always fresh and the place is not necessarily kept to par with be clean. Good luck.

This is my regular Asian grocery store. I like the size of the store, not too big nor small. I can walk through all the isles and find what I need under an hour. They carry most common oriental fresh produces, and some popular brands from East Asia. It does smell like most other Asian markets and the price tags are very confusing or missing. The food in the deli section isnt that appealing unless its freshly made.

DONT SHOP HEREOur whole family has been coming here for our weekly shopping for many years, but after this experience we will never shop here again, you are not the only asian store around town, Ill be sure to let all family and friends know. You just lost a big group of loyal weekly shoppers! We bought a clay pot here, and within less than 3 months this pot cracked and started to leak, luckily our gas stove signals when fire is gone We came to the store and we dont expect a refund, we just want a replacement or atleast a solution, but the manager by the name Hany or Heny, the asian guy that wears glasses, very rudely and hastly says it past 7 day return policy.....We know it past 7 days, we werent planning to return the pot in the first place, it came to our surprise it such poor quality that it broke less than 3months, we own big clay pots that last many years so we know for certain its life expectancy is more than that, and anyone that owns one knows too.Well long story short, he very impatiently and rudely brushed us off.As manager we expect professionalism and common Courtesy, even if you cant replace or refund atleast direct us to the pot makers details so we can directly solve it.....What a terrible experience and management. This is just one of the terrible experience weve had with this store....There were many minor rudeness we experience that we use to look past....But this time you did it....All of us will NEVER shop here again, unless you change your management!!

Asian fruit and vegetable selecting is very good. Im the son of a meat cutter who owned his own shop and I go with my instincts - I dont buy meat from their counter. Look at the eyes of a fish and use your nose if you want to ascertain if the seafood is fresh. Only the crab, fillet of sole, and rock cod are from the ocean - the rest of the seafood (salmon, tilapia, shrimp, striped bass, etc) are farmed products. Do your homework about hormones and farmed seafood - enough said!

The quality at Marina is decent, not great, for an Asian supermarket. I really think that Ranch 99 is a lot cleaner and with better service. My tips:- Be careful with the meat/seafood staff - they are uncompromising, and decent customer service doesnt seem to be within their scope of training. Actually, thats putting it nicely. Theyre rude bastards.- The deli (Chinese food steam tables, and limited soup noodle selection) is a very affordable option for a quick, hot meal.- Produce is of good quality, and super cheap. A great value.- Great deals on beer - especially Japanese brands like Sapporo and Asahi. $7.99 for a 12-pack!- The best selection of sake Ive found anywhere. Legit.
