They were about to close but they still helped me and my daughter. I was able to get the shade of lipstick also the right powder. My daughter got what she needed as well. They were very friendly they did so as if we were the first customers, we greatly appreciated that.

I love all mac products

These products can mess up your skin if you do long term use (my personal experience). However, great for parties!!! The people that work there are so nice. And Ive gotten my make up done on a few occasions and I leave looking Hollywood baby! Love you guys!!

I had an excellent experience here the other day thanks to Cindy. Originally came in looking for a new foundation because my current one was a bit too drying. She expertly addressed my concerns, and was incredibly friendly! Will most certainly be returning. :)

The MAC Cosmetics staff take the time and answer and teach you how to apply MAC products. No one is ever pushy trying to make you buy anything. This place knows how to apply eye makeup on Asian eyes for any occasion!When it isnt too busy, I have had impromptu makeup lessons that have lasted at least 15 minutes long with step-by-step instruction in which the makeup artist will teach and provide feedback as she watches me apply the makeup on my face.One of MACs best kept secrets is that you can make a professional makeup appointment when you have a big event, such as prom, a birthday, party, or a wedding and the cost of appointment is the price of minimum purchase of $50 in MAC Cosmetics. You just tell the makeup artist what the event is, what you are wearing (bring pictures) and what you color and style preferences and you will look great after the appointment is over plus now the opportunity to spend $50 in MAC Cosmetics.

The employee does not return the item due to the big amount of money ask me go to Powell store. And then I called the Powell store, they said they should be able to do that:(.

Was in this store for over 45 minutes waiting to be served. Asked several sales reps for assistance. They either ignored me or said they would be right with me. Then they went to some younger person and played makeup with them. I understand they enjoy having young girls come in and look up to the, it boosted there egos. But if youre working in commission, dont ignore the middle age class that come in your store and actually have money to spend.

First time going to mac in a long time but will definitely not go back. I went to one mall but they had a mac in Macys and I couldnt create a pallet the lady said I had to go to a free standing mac not one in Macys to create one and that was totally okay. So I went to a different mall When I first went into mac no one helped me I was standing in there for about ten minutes then me and my sister decided to just come back after we looked around the mall some more when I can back I was standing there waiting again while other people got asked if they need any help which they were all lighter than me I was the only girl in their with my complexion so that was all ready uncomfortable so I finally got help after standing there for about 5 minutes after I got help I walked around the rest of the store and was looking at something then a girl with metallic lipstick was standing there asking can I help you? Can I help you? And of course since their was other people standing by me and I didnt get help until a long time I was assuming she was talking to other people by me until I realized she was talking to me i said no and then she was like just making sure because you know its my job to help people. After I heard that I put my stuff down and left the store because first off maybe you want to work on doing your job a little bit better missy because I came into the store TWICE and waited ten minutes to get helped how rude I will NEVER go back to mac

There are certain products you can get at the MAC store that you cant buy in the department stores like the pan eyeshadows and blushes. Also, they offer the 6 empty products program that you can get more than just the lipstick with. So, thats why I go there. Not always but frequently enough.Sometimes the service can be slow but I think thats for two reasons. 1) They want to give each customer plenty of attention. Makeup is complicated because everyones needs are different. 2) Its very expensive to have employees in California. Very few customers understand that their products are priced the same worldwide but since, expenses vary from place to place, always having enough staff isnt possible in one of the most expensive employment markets.If you avoid them on the weekend afternoons, then the service is much better. The staff is pretty nice and very helpful.

Their make up is ok, however I was treated as if I was some sort of idiot by one of the make up persons things. I am not to be asked if I know how to apply make up, thats none of their business. Not only that their make up is extremely expensive that is like one months worth of rent. I want my money back. Not only that the woman was fat and gross. Made me not want to buy make up there again.

I made an online purchase, and my husband was kind enough to go to the MAC store at Hillsdale Mall to return the item, and the saleswoman flat out told him all online orders could only be returned online. This is NOT true! It is not what the MAC website says, and it is not what the customer service person said when I called them. Get it together girls....! Try working as hard on customer service as you do on those lashes!
