Belino took care of us in this store. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the product and offers. Very COVID-19 conscious in the store. Associates follow COVID protocols closely. That makes me feel safe. I recommend this place to get any apple product.

They’re very good, but impatient with novices. They did the transfer but I still have things on my old phone and computer that haven’t transferred so I will have to spend 6-18 hours checking everything and I am still not ready to turn in my old phone because my new one wants too much new information that was already set up on the old one.

A nice store as all Apple stores are. I had two separate orders, made on a computer back-to-back. Second one fine, first one there was a problem. Email said call this 800 number, so I thought itd just go in the store. My home is on the other coast, we have no Apple stores nearby, so we were visiting family. I thought after viewing everything the day before in another store and deciding, but where theres stock.Well, in the very noisy store, I still had to call the 800, got a guy who sounded half asleep and 4000 miles away even after that lazy dude finally put his headset on rather than be on speaker.Turns out, I was so far away from the store, they thought I made a mistake ( cross-checking my home address)Totally wasted :30, instead of quick, safe, near touchless pick up so proudly offered on line.No one could figure out why one order was ok, one was not. Really stupid process to final outcome which was fine.

No stars for this service. They started policing how and what I wear instead of working on the computer repair. I will never buy any apple products in my life again. Apple policies made it impossible to repair anything in person, made shopping experience into a hassle and after using apple for 15 years I will never buy another product from them.

Excellent customer service. Came here 27 Jan cos wifes phone black screened the morning we flew out and after 15 hours in the air, we came here to see if we can get help.We walked in and was served in 2 minutes by a store consultant and a fellow compatriot from a neighbouring country near ours who moved here when he was young. He reset and restarted her phone within a minute and she was so thankful. God bless that kid!

My 86-year-old father bought a new Mac for 10K and in the past six weeks hes had to take this machine to this Apple store twice because it hasnt worked properly in all that time. I have also witnessed the workers treating my father, myself, and other customers with very low quality customer service skills. There was, in particular, one individual who ORDERED my 86-year-old father to stand in a different spot with a very disrespectful tone and demeanor. When my father brought to attention this individuals poor customer service skills, the employee did not apologize and actually argued and denied any accountability for his disrespectful communication. And in my view, if Apple uses Covid as an excuse for poor service, that does not forgive being unkind and disrespectful to elderly customers.

The store looks very nice. It is on the outside area of the mall near a fountain and food court. I went there because I had an appointment. This was the first time I went to a mall during the pandemic. Everyone was wearing masks. It wasnt crowded since I went on a weekday in the afternoon.

Brought in Macbook Pro for a Genius Bar appointment: diagnostics promptly ran and confirmed problems with the battery and display connectors. Laptop dropped off for repairs.Employee also double-checked the return shipping address and thus prevented my work computer from being erroneously shipped over an ocean to the wrong land mass.Five days from drop off to returned laptop. Not bad, Apple.

I needed to trade in my iPhone, as my newly purchased a replacement iPhone didnt properly ship with a trade in bag. Although it took a minute to find someone to help me, the person I was paired with quickly and easily performed the trade in. She was extremely nice, removed my tricky glass screen protector for me, and everything went smoothly. I was out in less than 10 minutes. A very positive experience.

Today I went in to pick up our gift--a new Apple computer a friend bought my daughter. Even hours after I received instructions on how to pick it up I was told, by a very rude employee, that it was not ready to be picked up. He insisted that I prove it, and show him the email. I found the email and asked for a manager. The manager, asking no questions, proceeded to tell me off in front of my daughter. It was all very odd. Incredible that they feel like they can do this. I recommend visiting another store or disregarding Apple all together. We certainly dont want to do business with them any longer.

Lacked empathy, let alone work ethic, to help a customer with trying to solve an issue with my phone. He was actually condescending when he gave me less than a minute of his time. The customer service at this store has been a disaster. And Apple knows it by now. I have heard many stories about the management being rude to customers and I have experienced it myself. I always give businesses a second and even a third chance because I know how tough it can be. But these guys are rude to patrons every time. Scheduling and arriving for an appointment was fine. Picking my device up after repairs, however, was poorly handled. After arriving for pickup around the specified time, I spent an hour sitting behind the genius bar and then over by the employee door, making eye contact with as many employees as I could without a single one stepping over to check me in. I had no idea whether the repairs were done, whether they would call my name, whether I should just pester them, and even had to use the store’s phones to check the time since I didn’t have mine (the whole mall doesn’t seem to believe in clocks or maps).The store was clearly busy with some internal event or other, so I understand why the individuals didn’t have time to approach me. As a whole, though, the store should have some mechanism to communicate with customers waiting in the store. I showed up for my appointment but it felt like the store didn’t show up in return.

I came in this evening to get a replacement battery for my iPhone. I had ordered a service part a few weeks ago, and received an email letting me know it was available. I walked into the store, was greeted by staff, told who to check in with right away. I was told the repair would take about an hour - and it did. Great experience. Staff was really nice!

Very good customer service. One of the best among the Apple Store that I have been to.I am having a vision problem due to eye cataract problem, so I use my iphone to take photo of item in upper shelves and the zoom it so I can see it clearly. a lady staff approach me and tell me that I just tell her which item I want to see and she will get it for me. That is extra effort and I appreciate it.While looking around, I come across a toy which I am not familiar. Another apple staff saw me looking curiously at the toy and he approached me and demo the item to me. That is very good customer service.

They make you feel unwelcome and twice I was told over the past couple years that they were too busy at the moment to sell me the iPhone when the store was empty. Bizarre.

So mad right now. I bought a new iPhone 11 Pro in my way to the airport. Joshua was helping me set it up when I had to leave to catch my flight. He told me that when I left the store the phone would stop trying to download my apps if it wasn’t on a WiFi network. It would only restart when I was on a different WiFi network.Now I’m not calling him a liar. Maybe he just doesn’t know what he’s talking about. But over the next two hours I burned over 5 GB of data on my Verizon account, meaning I was charged $60 for data overage. And since he works for Apple and not Verizon, I have no recourse. How about Apple writes me a check???Thanks JOSHUA!!!

Purchased a set of air pods and the left one went bad after 4 days. Came in for repair and they didn’t have one for replacement. They placed and order that would arrive after 5 days at the store. They couldn’t ship it to my address and if they do they would charge shipping. Went there to pick my replacement after 7 days and they said it hasn’t arrived yet. Are you kidding me ? You can sell the new ones and have them ready quickly but if this is for a replacement after a couple of days of purchase then you have to go through hell.

Wanted to give a shout out to the wonderful pink haired Theresa. Even though she was on check in / welcoming duty she helped me through different ways to try to get rid of a virus on my computer. She balanced helping me with doing her assigned task flawlessly. I must say she really went above and beyond to make sure everyones needs were met and questions were thoroughly and comprehensively answered. This is a woman the is AWESOME at her job!

Need to be mindful of the appointment times. Despite having an appointment I had to wait for over 1 hour to get the new iPhone XS. Being the most valued tech company in the world they couldnt even provide a notification for when they would be able to service my request and asked me to wait in the queue. Just disgraceful!!!

I got there 45mins before closing on a Thursday and was told they dont have an open appointment slot to help you buy a phone. You need an appointment to go to the back and grab a phone and swipe a card? Apparently yes.Plenty of employees just talking amongst themselves mostly ignoring customers.I thought it was ridiculous when I bought a macbook power brick and needed to buy a separate wire to connect to it. This is another level.Apple, in a fervor to create an overwhelmingly catered experience, has lost their common sense.

I want to sing the praises of the staff at the Hillsdale Apple store, particularly a tall young man named Dave, and (I think) another named Isaac. They went above and beyond to make it possible for me to have a working phone in time for my international trip tomorrow. They even made it right when the problem I was having was due to a shady online dealer (tip: DO NOT purchase from SMARTER/NEXT! They are shady!) Once they knew of my imminent deadline and all the failed attempts I’d made at communicating with Smarter, they moved mountains (Dave’s term!) to get me a NEW phone. I had to drive 1/2 hour to pick it up, but that is totally worth it in order to be able to install apps, update my iOS, and *take photos* on my trip! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dave and all the staff at the Hillsdale Apple Store!

Brought in 6 year old macbook pro that was having kernel panics. The only reason they dont get 5 stars was they were so busy it took them 40 minutes to get to the point that they had to take my computer in for further diagnostics. This is where it gets awesome. They figured out it was the broken graphics card and fixed it for $330. $70 cheaper than what I had come to expect from online research. BUT, they also replaced my battery, DRAM (8GIG), Optical Drive and a few other things as well. The laptop came back polished and clean. All for $330. Way above my expectations.

Being in sales my entire life, Its hard to say that a rep Wowed me, since I deal with so many. Frank was that rep. He led me to an incredible experience at the Apple Store in Hillsdale. My phone for work was not working properly and I had a flight to catch, so we were battling time trying to solve the issue. Frank stepped up to the plate and delivered on the extraordinary service Apple is known for. He came up with creative ways of solving the issue, while being patient, and empathetic. Great asset to have for the company. Id only go to him the next time Im in the Apple Store.

A good experience here. Parking is at the back in a lot and along the street. Plenty of restaurants around there so if you want to grab a drink or have dinner/lunch while you wait for your repair to complete is a good option. Their walk-ins are much better than the San Francisco store.

Not the largest Apple Store. Always crowded. At least one or two staff members come by and ask if I need any help, but no one really tries to engage and sell you on anything. I have been to other Apple Stores in the Bay Area with much more friendly and helpful staff, Downtown SF store and the Stanford store, that actively try to engage in a conversation. At this Store, the store greeter doesnt greet when you walk in or say goodbye when you walk out of the store. The guy just stands there. Overall, the staff is pretty low key here.

Changing battery on the laptop will take 3-5 days they said. 3-5 days!!!! I got the whole front of my car repaired in 5 days!!Also do not have batteries for MacBook Pro 2015. This is the previous version but common apple you dont have so many products not to have battery in your warehouse.

I dont like that they assume that because I am a woman that I am stupid and dont know anything. They treat me like a moron and if Im not attractive enough to the mens standards they wont talk to me. There is someone who works for Apple in my family so I am very familiar with their products...more so than their staff. Yet their staff still treats me stupid. I see it all the time in there: women = stupid and men get the higher level of conversation. I dont have this issue at the Main site.

Its convenient, and has free wifi, but this store is almost too busy at times. I would recommend visiting the Stanford and/or Burlingame stores instead. they have more genius bar openings available, and the Stanford store is twice the size of this one

Brought my early 2011 MacBook Pro 7:30 pm Tuesday because battery was draining pretty fast, decided to go with battery replacement even though it had only 600 cycles. Now I have done a bunch of battery replacements on different laptops, and I know it takes 5 minutes to replace a battery. If you add any diagnostics, you just run it like putting laundry in a washing machine - you let it run. I researched after market batteries prior to going and decided it wasnt worth taking a chance on one because of horror stories I read. So reluctantly, I went to Apple thinking that, minimally, Id receive ok service for the premium prices Apple charges. I was wrong. 22 hours later, at 5:30 pm, that 5 minute task hadnt even begun. Then the floor person said she could not give it an ETA. At least she was courteous although I found it outrageous that it wasnt done. I asked for the manager, and he claimed that it was promised by the end of the day, and they work there up to 11pm on repairs even though the store closes at 9. I told him that I was told that if Id I brought in today, it would be done same day, and by leaving it over night, I expected it by no later than the afternoon. My girlfriend was with me when I dropped it off and she said that that was her expectation as well. The manager didnt even seem apologetic - didnt appear empathetic at all about the misunderstanding. Worst service ever.

Terrible service. I stopped by this store to check the wifi gray out issue caused by upgrading the system to iOS 11. I went there and queued in line around 11:40AM and was told that I need to wait about 2 hours (they will notify me with messages).The terrible thing begins to happen. I came in the store around 3:30PM and was told to wait for another 15 minutes. Then a man named as technician to check the issue. He just restarted the cellphone and told me that this cannot be repaired and started to give two suggestions: 1) spend another $329 for a swap (old iphone 6); 2) or trade in my iphone with $127. Thats really terrible experience as this issue is caused by upgrading to iOS 11. The technician didnt do anything to check the issue and just wanted to keep selling. Thats really terrible! Maybe thats part of Apples sale strategy. Just like the issue happening recently that Apple intentionally slows down the old iPhones to push customers to buy new iPhones or exchange batteries. Actually I didnt feel anything wrong with the battery of my iPhone 6. It sounds pretty strange that they always blame the battery.
