Great deals. This location has great customer service and was kept cleaner than other locations. I spent a small fortune on this visit so that tells me they are doing a good job.

Never know what youll find .. The place allows me to try different brands.. Selection varies depending on store I think that Oakland store on Broadway has the best selection.

Went in to get some stuff i nerd for the week nefore i go nack to work, always a great experience at the grocery outlet . I found what i needed.

It was ok I found everything I wanted I would have found more no disabled carts.

Service always lacks at this location but its very convenient to where I live.

Great place to shop everything is cheaper and they have organic foods. A little history for all you newbies this location was a can food store before bargain market and a yard birds hardware store before that a alpha beta supermarket before 45 years ago.

OMG ! Nice and Clean! Super nice isle workers and I bought the tastiest carne asada meat !!!! Im back home cookin lunch for 1/3rd price as eating out!!!

The things are very cheap and nice . Workers are kind . Setup is mostly neat although sometimes Theres crates and it looks a bit old . Other than that its overall nice, convenient and cheap.

Good prices, friendly service, well stock store, just all out good experience Im 72 I was able to take my time the labels and everything are visible and I have been shopping at that store for over 32 years

The cheapest place to buy anything however the selection can be limited and changes all the time.

The values and availability here varies. I have found great deals on fresh veggies and frozen things sometimes but then come back and find nearly nothing. Its not as clean as other grocery outlets. The filth in the parking lot is an eyesore but it is safe and the employees are generally helpful and courteous.

Love all your stores. Great values. Closeouts. Great employees. Parking is good. I hope you move into the Rodeo, California Safeway when it moves to a new location in Hercules about 2 miles away. It would be a perfect fit for the empty grocery store. I live in Rodeo and went to Canned Foods in Berkeley many years ago. Now my most frequented store is Pinole but I occasionally go to San Pablo or Vallejo stores. I used to go to Oakland downtown store when I lived near it. I will always patronize you.Thank you very much!

It was bad no customer service at all acting like they dont know how to talk to people you cant even use the restroom why you buying items and food for your needs treating me like I just come to use the restroom but im shopping

What can we say...its a grocery outlet and they have a variety of items. They definitely have some of everything you never thought you needed until you walked in their door. 🙂 the lines move fast and its always stocked, even during the trying time we are having currently in the Bay Area. At least they sanitize there shopping carts SO NICE TO SEE

It was good but the staff forgot good customer service hello and thank you for your service and come again was not there . Also they did not wipe carts like the last time I went

Great place to shop. Something new all the time. I would recommend you try it out.

We love to go here and buy a majority of our groceries here, because its convenient cheap and quick. When we go through here its friendly and quick. They have a great selection of foods. You might not find your normal brands all the time but if you are flexible about brands you can find everything. Their ice cream selection needs improvement but the rest is good. When you get to the register its usually no longer than 4 people or less and they are quick to ring you up. I definitely love to go here all the time !!

I absolutely love this place in the East Bay and its a lifesaver when Im in need of groceries in the spare of the moment.They dont necessarily have everything I need, but it works for me to put together a simple meatloaf and macaroni and cheese.The prices are adequate enough where I can share milk and eggs with my neighbors.I can try organic products that are not available at other stores.Their selection of corn chips is incredible and reasonable.The only complaint I have is that when the lines are long, the newly open cashier will always take people from the end of the line. My recommendation is to ask management to change this bad practice and have the next available cashier take customers from the front of the line.This would be more than fair and establish better customer service.

This Grocery Outlet always smells, for years! I dont get it. The workers have always been nice though.

When the line was down the frozen aisle, there should have been another cashier called.

Never has to wait to long to purchase my items

I had always really liked the people and many products at the Grocery Outlet in RichmondI had come in many times with my small bicycle which I generally carried and one day in April, a man who can only be described as a goon and a woman hater, came up to me an physically blocked my way. I am fairly certain his name is Ken.I am 115 5 foot two woman and he physically blocked my way from the store that I have always brought my bicycle into before. And told me no bikes are allowed ever inside the store. I told him I didnt have a lock and I came for an emergency and he said he didnt care.I came back later in my car to speak to the manager, a man who I had always liked; he told me no bikes no exceptions.I said to him I am fine with not bringing my bike back in the future but I think some polite allowance for somebody who has been coming to the store on a nearly daily basis should be granted.This was in April 2017 and I have not step foot in that store since then.I have spoken to many people especially bicycle us about the unfriendliness of this particular store to people who are doing their best to help work on global warming and wanting to shop locally in their neighborhood.I would never ever suggest anyone go to the store. And I say this with a sense of irony the people who work at Safeway are more polite.Penelope Fetsch

If youre looking for a quick grocery run then, its fine to come here. They sell a variety of goods, though make sure to check the expiration date as sometimes the sell almost expired food. It also has a strange smell of kitty litter.

Great service and prices cannot be beat. Been shopping there since it opened in 1987 or so. All foods now being sold include milk and fresh produce as well as meat and frizen food and beverages of all kinds.

They have great prices on all sorts of items but they are very inconsistent with items.

Good store. This place has been open since I can remember I was 6 yrs old when I remember seen it for the first time. Anyways this store is nice the boss is friendly, some employees are friendly there is an older Asian lady she is loud and rude she has annoying noise I do not like her line customers yiell at her because she is rude. They carry good cereal and coffee inexpensive frozen pizza and other things like cosmetics hardware cat and dog food.

Great prices on basics, such as milk, bread, eggs, produce, and what they have in stock, but you never know what they will have in stock.

They are kind of racist though, today I was there and the nice family let me go ahead of them I didnt even know I cut them but there was like its okay only got one item. But as I was making my transaction the cashier asked the ladies behind me if this was EBT? And the lady said yeah why? Then the lady called the mamager! That was pretty messed up and Ive been shopping here for a few years thats really sad to see that Ill definitely consider my options more carefully next time to see if I would really want to shop at this place

It was good they had some pretty good deals Crystal geyser water for 2.99 was really cheap and their cereal be cheap too just gotta make sure you check the expiration dates cuz they tend not to rotate stock or take off when expired

Fantastic selection. Good quality and variety. Nobody can beat their prices I save no less than 50%. Employees are Super Especially my adopted daughters.

Lines are always quick and their vegetables are always fresh. Great if you need to pick up something quick for dinner and dont want to wait long, plus their prices are really low.

Clean and nice Hispanic stocker in the meat area was so so helpful he even walk up and told me what salsa was the best great staff

Turned around and left, was in neighborhood and thought Id Panhandlers hitting me up before I even turned motor off. .verbal fight another couple in parking lot over a parking spaceThen told I had to check my reusable grocery bags at door. Dont need those hassles. Headed for my usual trader Joes in Pinole way nicer.

The problem w all Grocery outlet is that they dont care about people with mobility scooter 🛵 they want the disabled to leave the mobility scooter out side. And the only way is get a lawyer and make them understand the ADA rules and thats on all stores Oakland / Richmond/ and San Pablo Ca they denied access for people with disabilitys

A great place to shop for high end foods. Its random. But for instance I got 4 pounds of grass fed organic beef for 20.00

Used to love this GO. Unfortunately it looks unkempt now. Couldnt find a carry basket. Love the cashier whos been there forever.

A lot of good surprises in this grocery outlet. Tide laundry at the Costco + discount price, a bunch of French brands at a very good price, tons of protein bars.

Selection is limited and prices lower than a normal grocery store. If you buy produce, definetly plan on eating it within the day or the next or it will go bad! Small selection of meat. Staff helpful. Watch out for expired items!!!

Great place if you like to shop around. Most foods are less than other stores and convenient when your on a budget.

Im going to be really honest w you guys this place is really nice to come to buy yours things,and its really helpful to see the cheaper things that you can buy because if you go another stores to buy food or things that you want it, you are westing your money because in this shop you get your things that you want to buy for almost 50% cheaper than another store, its a great deal to come to this place to start saving your money that you could buy in another things from the same money .
