Upon my hunt for comics I happen to stumble upon Blue moon comics And may I say I was impressed with the stores presentation. Every area was clean and organized and it was extremely easy to find comics. The gentleman/owner SAM was extremely helpful and he even knew about every comicbook series/characters I was looking for. Over all an amazing experience and awesome meeting the owner who is a fellow nerd like myself 🤟I highly recommend this local comic book shop for your next comic book purchase

Great comic store in Marin! Wasnt a comic reader yet I went out to curiosity and asked the person working what a good comic was. Not only was he more than willing to help, he actually recommended a series I am now addicted to. Very friendly environment and staff.

Excellent shop, and the owner Sam is TOP NOTCH. Very knowledgeable, and friendly too. If anyone REALLY loves comics, I would recommend making a trip to this shop. The selection of titles is great, and the shop is even in a really nice neighborhood as an added bonus. The parking is metered though, so make sure you pay the meter. I got a ticket right outside, after going over the time just a few minutes.

Ive been going to Sam for 20 years now. I love this shop.

I have been a regular at Blue Moon Comics for over 5 years. The owners are both kind, knowledgeable, to the point, and willing to help if you need it. I have witnessed them serve many different kinds of customers over the years, and they were all treated with the same courtesy. If you knew them, you would know that the things said about them in a couple of the recent negative reviews are completely one-sided and outrageous. Whether you are looking to buy your first comic or are a long-time collector, Blue Moon Comics is a fantastic and welcoming place to go.

I have been coming here for some years now. It saddens me to give such a bad review. Today the person at the front desk yelled at me and my 2 kids. We were the only people of color in the store. He yelled at us for looking at the books. With the excuse that we werent buying them right away. Of course he didnt yell at any other customers for not buying things in the speed he desired. It was a terrible experience. If you are a person who cares about stopping racist behavior do not support the store.

Cool store and fun to go back and find childhood favorites. A bit on the pricey side, particularly in comparison to what they once cost. But i suppose thats to be expected. Check it out!

Sams been keeping me in comics since before I hit puberty. He knows his stuff, and he does some pretty amazing stuff, himself. Hello hello him in business, and help keep Marin a decent place to be.

I love that there is an independent comic book store close to home. I love that they have a great selection, and some bargain bins that are always worth looking through. But the staff are less than great. I think theyve watched too many movies and just assume thats how theyre meant to act. Its not.The owner is very friendly though.

Though its location has moved over the years, this has always been my place for comic books, magic: the gathering cards and insight into those hobbies. The owners are very in knowledgable and personable. A strong part of the community for as long as I can remember.

A great place to find all the comic books you are looking for. Staff is very knowledgeable, selection is varied, and the prices are good when you want to find the old stuff.

The owner of the store yelled at my family and was overall rude, disrespectful, racist, and unreasonable behind his reasoning. It was a very uncomfortable experience being as he targeted us, a Mexican family, rather than the other white customers that werent buying anything. When confronted, he was cocky and full of excuses. My friends, family, and I wont be going there again. I dont recommend anybody supporting the business, especially people of color.

Ive been a customer at blue moon since they were in Novato 15 years ago. Good recommendations, something for everyone, and magic cards. Live music on special days, lots of fun.

I did not enjoy my experience in the store. While I was reading a book, I was yelled to stop because I was reading too much and it was costing him money. There was only two other customers in the store.
