Bullseye is a business dedicated to education, and safety, not just the sale of firearms. This is not a greedy gun shop turning people loose on the street with a weapon, Bullseye is putting integrity, and responsibility first. The very definition of gun control to me.My sister and I attended the basic handgun class at Bullseye and had an awesome experience! The staff was courteous, friendly, and informative. The class was certainly not intimidating, it was empowering! We left feeling confident that we could not only use a handgun correctly, but we would be able to purchase one with ease when we are ready. I enjoyed the whole experience, and I am going to go back to Bullseye and take the rifle class next! Thanks Bullseye!

I shoot here on a fairly regular basis. Since I am in the market for a new handgun I have really been enjoying their rental cabinet. Yes, they can be a little expensive and yes, sometimes I have to wait a few minutes to be helped. But, I have always found the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable, the store to be tidy and welcoming, and, the range in good working order.

Ive been here several times. For me its been a great experience each time so Im not sure what others are talking about. Maybe its just 1 or 2 guys and i hope I never run into them. The range is convenient and has nice extended hours. Been going there weekly and Im even thinking of getting a membership and taking a few courses. Good range. Highly recommended.

Great staff. No-nonsense, and very attuned to the needs and skill level of their patrons. Well-kept range, with a well-behaved crowd. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an indoor range.Ive seen some bad reviews about the service here, but it mustve improved over the years, because the folks I met there were quite responsive and friendly. They allow rifles as well, although the range is a little short for that.

Not sure if it was just today or not, but I waited for someone for 25 minutes while the staff had long meaningless chats with other customers. I was ready to buy today, but it seems like they arent interested in the sales of guns as much as showing off their own personal rifles to other customers.I didnt want to buy online, but looks like I will at least get faster service.

I just have to say Ive had mixed experiences here. Some of the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, while others not so much. I dont want to give a bad review based on a bad experience but I suppose that is the way it goes since Ive had several bad experiences. The lanes are great, by the way. However, I have had several instances with rude staff who seem to think they are very cool just because they work in a gun store. My most recent experience was when I came in to pick up a gun I had purchased and a staff totally ignored me. He was talking to a gentleman who was casually browsing and they were making small talk for about ten minutes. He made no sign of making his way to getting over to me. I think filling out paperwork for almost an hour should when purchasing the gun in the first place should have been enough time waiting. Finally, another staff came over after helping someone on a register and helped me out.Yeah, perhaps I just had one incompetent employee, except I have experienced and witnessed this type of bad service several times here. This is only an inconvenience if you dont mind waiting around after a long day of work and listening to someone ramble on like a child about gun specifications. Seeing as there are not many stores locally, guess there arent many choices.

After a short wait, 5 mins or so, Lynn and her staff had a lane ready for my wife and I. We were looking forward to shooting our Beretta 9mm on a rainy Sunday. After about an hour we wrapped up a great session at Bullseye. We were very pleased with the competitive pricing and positive vibe in and out of the range. Looking forward to returning.

I first went to Bullseye San Rafael 2 years ago, the service and attitude towards customers has been improving consistently, as have the services they offer. These guys have got organized, and offer such a great experience now. A real testament to good management, and an owner who clearly invests in their business to make it a success.

I thought this place was just fine. It is small and limited but seems safe enough, and the staff bent over backward to help me, and tear down my weapon for free twice. The checkout lady is pretty curt but I dont really care. Its a gun range.

Its a pretty good indoor shooting range, theyve got everything you need: ammo ( a little expensive though), ear and eye protection, targets, etc... The location is very convenient, with parking. However, what I dont like is that the salespeople really like to have long and meaningless chats with customers, when there are people in the line trying to buy something or rent a lane. It just goes on and on .... yap yap yap. Also some of the attendants have this attitude like they are Rambo...which makes me uncomfortable.

I am a first time gun buyer. I like to do my research on everything I do, motorcycle stuff, car stuff, gun stuff. Although I didnt have much hands on sidearm experience, I did have some knowledge.Anthony, one of the salesmen helped me out. Super nice guy, very approachable, and most importantly, quite knowledgeable about firearms. He helped me pick out a Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm.Although it might be nice to have somewhat of a larger selection (they didnt have a Glock 17, which I understand as a pretty common pistol), I had an overall amazing experience there, and would suggest a visit. Thanks Anthony and the rest of the crew!!

I am a prior service veteran (Major, U.S. Army). I have fired on countless ranges both civilian and military. The only reason I frequent this range is due to the limited number of ranges in the Bay Area and I live in Marin. The staff is unprofessional and unsafe and unorthodox in their range protocol. I recently had a staff member (the cranky senior female referenced in others reviews) pick up my loaded weapon from the bench (which was safely pointed down range) and handled it and disarmed it without my permission and inform me that if I wasnt actively firing the weapon, it would have to be unloaded (even though I was in the stall at all times attending to the weapon). This is just one example of the amateurish actions and unprofessional attitude of the staff. I now go to other ranges even though it is an inconvenience due to the distance involved. I know several other prior service military and law enforcement personnel who agree with my opinion and will not frequent this range either. The place has gained a reputation.

Absolutely dirty shop. After call and appointment it says on site no coach available. No insight from the staff at the cash desk and 30 minutes taxi ride for free. Never again!!! Not recommended! :-(
